Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for ejecting liquid from a wiper body, which is held to form a wiping surface on a mop head of a surface cleaning device, with a container in which a wiper body receiving wiper body holder and a drive means are arranged, wherein the wiper body holder by means of the drive means a rotation axis is rotationally driven.
- a wiper body for example a wiper pad or a wiper fabric is often used, which is held to form a wiping surface on a mop head.
- the wiper body is moved with its wiping surface along the surface to be cleaned and this dirt recorded. Subsequently, the wiper body is usually washed out and wrung out.
- Object of the present invention is to develop a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the dehumidification of a wiper body can be done with a lower power consumption.
- the wiper body holder forms a receptacle into which the wiper body is aligned with an angle to the axis of rotation aligned surface normal of the wiping surface.
- the wiper body holder supports the wiper body with an angle, ie obliquely or perpendicular to the axis of rotation aligned wiping surface within the container, d. H. the surface normal of the wiping surface is not aligned parallel to the axis of rotation, but it is at an angle to the axis of rotation. It has been found that liquid droplets can be ejected particularly effectively by means of such an alignment of the wiping surface.
- the device according to the invention is therefore characterized by a higher efficiency. This makes it possible to achieve effective dehumidification of the wiper body even at relatively low speeds and consequently with relatively low energy consumption.
- the receptacle receives the wiper body with surface normal of the wiping surface aligned perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
- This allows a particularly compact form of the discharge device.
- Such wiping bodies are usually on one Wischigentown held on the side of a handle or handle is articulated.
- the wiper body carrier with the wiper body held thereon can be pivoted relative to the handle in such a way that, alternatively, the upper side or the lower side of the wiper body carrier faces the surface to be cleaned.
- This pivotable mounting of the wiper support on the handle makes it easier to use the wiper support together with the wiper body held thereon in the receptacle of the wiper body holder, that the surface normal of the wiping surface is aligned perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the discharge device.
- the receptacle comprises a guide into which the wiping body can be inserted. By the leadership of the insertion of the wiper body is facilitated.
- the guide has two mutually parallel, U-shaped guide elements which receive the wiper body between them.
- the guide elements are preferably held at the opposite ends of a parallel to a bottom surface of the container-oriented guide carrier.
- the wiper body can be inserted into the receptacle of the wiper body holder in a particularly simple manner if the guide elements are aligned parallel to the axis of rotation.
- the wiper body holder is manually set in rotation.
- the coupled with the wiper body support drive means may comprise mechanical drive elements with a user the ejector device actuated winch or foot pedal. It is particularly favorable if the drive device has mechanical deflecting elements for deflecting a translational movement of the foot pedal into a rotary movement of the wiper body holder.
- the drive means comprises a drive motor, preferably an electric motor.
- the drive motor is assigned a rechargeable power supply unit. This allows a self-sufficient operation of the discharge device without a mains supply must be ensured.
- the drive means is disposed within the container below the wiper body holder and preferably at a distance to a bottom wall of the container.
- the area below the drive device can thus serve as a receiving space for the ejected from the wiper body liquid.
- the drive means can be provided to arrange the drive means on the bottom wall of the container, wherein the drive means does not cover the entire area of the bottom wall, so that laterally next to the drive means within the container, a receiving space for the centrifuged liquid can be provided.
- the drive device held on the bottom wall can also be positioned at a distance from the wiper body holder with the formation of the receiving space between the two components.
- the speed of the wiper body holder is adjustable. This makes it possible, depending on the desired degree of moisture that the wiper body should have after ejection, set different speeds.
- a selector switch can be provided, with which the user can select a certain speed.
- the speed is infinitely adjustable, for example in a range between 250 revolutions per minute and 500 revolutions per minute.
- a maximum spin time of the wiper body holder can be predetermined, after which the rotary drive of the wiper body holder can be switched off automatically. It can be provided, for example, that the user can select by means of a selector switch between different spin times. Especially at a given speed, the selection of the spin time gives the user the opportunity to adjust the moisture level of the wiper body as needed.
- the wiper body holder has a switching element, which activates the rotary drive after successful insertion of the wiper body in the wiper body holder.
- a key switch is used as the switching element. It has proved to be particularly favorable when the switching element is non-contact can be actuated, it can be configured for example as a reed contact.
- the use of a manually operated by the operator of the discharge device switch may be provided, for example in the form of a main switch or emergency stop switch.
- the wiper body holder is coupled via a slip clutch to the drive device. This gives the possibility to hold the wiper body holder with the drive device active, without causing a risk of injury.
- the container comprises a partition wall for dividing the container into a wiper body receiving the centrifugal area and a washing liquid receiving a washing area for washing the wiping body. This gives the user the opportunity to immerse the wiper body several times in the cleaning liquid during cleaning and so to wash the wiper body. Subsequently, the wiping body can then be used in the spin area in the wiper body holder and rotated to eject the cleaning fluid.
- centrifugal area receives both the wiper-body holder and the drive device.
- the drive device positioned within the wash area and connected via coupling elements with the wiper body holder arranged in the spin area.
- the device comprises a spraying device for spraying the wiping body inserted into the wiper body holder.
- a spraying device for spraying the wiping body inserted into the wiper body holder.
- This gives the possibility to spray the wiper body with cleaning liquid, wherein it is simultaneously rotated. It may be provided, for example, that the wiping body is first rotated at low speed and simultaneously sprayed with cleaning liquid, and that then the cleaning liquid is ejected at a higher speed from the wiping body.
- the spraying device preferably comprises at least one spray nozzle, which is in flow communication with a feed pump.
- fluid can be pumped from the region below the wiper-body holder to the spray nozzle by means of the delivery pump. In this way, liquid which has been ejected from the wiping body in a preceding spinning process can be sprayed onto the wiping body for washing in a subsequent spinning process.
- the discharge device comprises a storage chamber for fresh cleaning liquid and if by means of the feed pump liquid are pumped from the storage chamber to the spray nozzle can.
- the wiper body can be sprayed for washing with fresh cleaning liquid.
- the container of the discharge device can be closed by means of a container lid.
- This not only reduces the risk that a user erroneously engages in the container during rotation of the wiper body holder, but this gives the possibility to turn on and off the drive means in response to the position of the container lid by the container lid with an electrical switching element interacts.
- the container lid can be articulated, for example, on the container and the switching element can be designed as a button, which turns on the drive motor when closing the container lid and off the drive motor when opening the container lid.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a known per se bottom wiper device 10 with a handle 11, which is connected via a hinge 12 with a mop head in the form of a plate-shaped wiper support body 13, on whose the handle 11 remote from the underside wiper body 14 is fixed.
- the latter may be, for example, a wiping fabric which can be separated from the wiper body carrier 13.
- the wiping body 14, with its underside facing away from the wiper body carrier 13, forms a wiping surface 15 which can be moved along a bottom surface to be cleaned for dirt pickup and whose orientation is predetermined by a surface normal 16 aligned perpendicular to the wiping surface 15.
- the floor wiper 10 can be cleaned in a conventional manner floor surfaces.
- the wiper body 14 is moistened and then moved along the floor surface to be cleaned, so that, for example, dust can be absorbed by the floor surface. Subsequently, the wiper body 14 is washed out and wrung out, so that it only has a low degree of moisture.
- the apparatus shown schematically in FIG. 2 and generally designated by the reference numeral 20 for ejecting liquid from the wiping body 14 is used. It comprises a container 21 with a circular cylindrical designed centrifugal area 22, which is separated by a partition wall 23 of a washing area 24.
- the wiper body carrier 13 with the wiping body 14 held thereon can be inserted into a wiping body holder 26 within the spinning area 22 and then rotated, so that the liquid picked up by the wiping body 14 is subjected to a centrifugal force and largely expelled from the wiping body 14.
- the construction of the discharge device 20 becomes clear in particular from the sectional view according to FIG.
- Approximately halfway within the centrifugal region 22 of the container 21 are diametrically opposite two supports 30, 31 fixed to the inner wall of the container 21, which receive a waterproof housing 33 of a drive device 34 between them.
- the supports 30 and 31 form this not shown in the drawing, known per se grooves, in which the housing 33 used from above and, if necessary, can be removed again.
- the drive means 34 comprises an electric drive motor 36 which is coupled via a pulley 37 and a toothed belt 38 with a toothed belt pulley 39 which is rotatably held on a drive shaft 40.
- the drive shaft protrudes with its end facing away from the toothed belt pulley 29 via a cover 42 of the housing 33 and carries a known per se and therefore only schematically shown in the drawing slip coupling 44, an intermediate piece 43, on which a wiper body holder 45 is seated, rotatably with the Intermediate piece 43 is connected.
- the wiper body holder 45 comprises two parallel aligned, U-shaped guide members 46, 47 which are rigidly connected to each other via a cross member 48 rotatably connected to the intermediate piece 43.
- the guide members 46 and 47 define a receptacle 49 of the wiper body holder 45 into which the wiper body carrier 13 together with the wiping body 14 held thereon can be inserted in the vertical direction.
- the drive shaft 40 is resiliently mounted in the axial direction, so that the over the slip clutch 44 and the intermediate piece 43 held on the drive shaft 40 wiper body holder 45 against an elastic spring force in the direction of the waterproof housing 33 can be moved.
- a pushbutton switch 51 is arranged on the upper side of the housing, which is connected via not shown in the drawing, per se known electrical lines to the electric motor 36 in conjunction.
- the key switch 51 can by moving the Wiper body holder 45 are actuated in the direction of the housing 33.
- a non-contact proximity switch for example a reed contact
- a non-contact proximity switch could be arranged inside the watertight housing 33, which can be actuated by approaching the wiper-body holder 45 to the housing 33.
- watertight electrical feedthroughs through the housing 33 could be omitted to a switching element positioned outside the housing.
- two rechargeable batteries 52 are disposed within the housing 33 of the drive device, which allow a self-sufficient operation of the discharge device 20.
- the power supply takes place via a connection cable which can be connected to a mains supply.
- the drive shaft 40 can be rotated about its longitudinal axis, d. H. the longitudinal axis of the drive shaft 40 defines an axis of rotation 55 of the discharge device 20.
- the axis of rotation 55 is aligned coaxially with the axis of symmetry of the circular cylindrical centrifugal region 22.
- the key switch 51 can be actuated. This causes the electric motor is turned on and thus the wiper body holder 45 is rotated via the drive shaft 40 in rotation. Due to the rotational movement, the fluid received by the wiping body 14 experiences a centrifugal force, so that it is ejected from the wiping body 14 in the radial direction and impinges on the inside of the wall of the container 21. The ejected liquid subsequently flows along the container wall in the direction of the bottom wall 57 of the container 21. In the region between the bottom wall 57 and the supports 30, 31 of the drive device 34, the centrifugal region 22 forms a liquid receiving space 59, in which the liquid from the wiping body 14 collects thrown out liquid.
- the power supply of the electric motor 36 is interrupted and the rotational movement is thus terminated.
- the wiper body carrier 13 can be removed together with the wiper body 14 of the receptacle 49 of the wiper body holder 45.
- the speed of the wiper body holder 45 can be adjusted continuously by the user between a value of about 250 revolutions per minute to about 500 revolutions per minute, so that the user can specify the degree of moisture of the wiper body 14 as needed after the spinning process.
- a rotary switch known per se and therefore not shown in the drawing is used, which is coupled to a control unit 61 of the drive device 34 arranged within the housing 33 is. By means of the control unit 61, the rotational speed of the drive motor 36 can be adjusted continuously.
- the container 21 comprises, in addition to the centrifugal area 22, a washing area 24.
- Unconsumed cleaning liquid can be introduced into the washing area 24 for washing the wiping body 14. For this purpose, it is immersed several times within the washing area 24 in cleaning liquid. Subsequently, the wiper body 14 can then be dehumidified in the spin area 22.
- FIG. 4 A second embodiment of a discharging device according to the invention is shown in FIG. 4 and is generally designated by reference numeral 65.
- This has largely the same structure as the above-explained Ausschleudervorraum 20.
- the same reference numerals are used as in Figures 1, 2 and 3. In this regard, reference is made in full to the above statements.
- the discharge device 65 differs from the discharge device 20 described above with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3 in that a separate washing area 24 for washing the wiping body 14 is omitted. Instead, the discharge device 65 has a spraying device 67 with a spray nozzle 69 fixed at the level of the guide parts 46, 47 on the inside of the wall of the container 21. This is provided by a hose 70 with a delivery pump 71 arranged inside the liquid receiving space 59 on the bottom wall 57 flow connection. By means of the feed pump 71, liquid can be sucked from the liquid receiving space 59 and pumped to the spray nozzle 69.
- FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment of a discharge device according to the invention, which is designated overall by reference numeral 75. It differs from the above-explained Ausschleudervorraum 65 only by the additional use of a container lid 76 which is hinged to the top of the container 21 and a radially extending receiving slot 77 through which the handle 11 of the Bodenwischtechniks 10 can pass, after the wiper body carrier thirteenth was inserted into the wiper body holder 45 together with the wiper body 14. By means of the container lid 76, the container 21 can be closed, so that the risk is reduced that liquid exits the container 21 or that the user erroneously engages during the rotation of the wiper body holder 45 in the container 21.
- the use of the container lid 76 also gives the possibility, instead of the push-button switch 51, to cooperate with the container lid 76, not shown in the drawing, which can be actuated by the container lid 76. If the container lid 76 is closed, the electric motor 36 is turned on via the button, and when opening the container lid, the electric motor is turned off.
- the wiper body carrier 13 is configured plate-like or frame-like, and the articulation of the handle 11 on the wiper body carrier 13 takes place in the region of a transverse edge of the wiper body carrier.
- FIG. 6 shows an alternative embodiment of a floor wiper device, which is also known per se, and is generally designated by reference numeral 80. It also comprises a handle 81, which is held by a hinge 82 on a wiper body carrier 83. The latter is designed in two parts and comprises two carrier halves 84, 85 which are coupled to each other via a user-lockable hinge 86. On its lower side, the wiper body carrier 83 carries a wiper body 87 which, facing away from the handle 81, defines a rectangular wiping surface 88 with a surface normal 89.
- the wiper body carrier 83 with carrier halves 84 and 85 directed obliquely upwards and obliquely inclined to the axis of rotation 55 of the wiper body 87 can then be inserted into a corresponding wiper body holder of a fourth embodiment of a discharge device 95 according to the invention.
- the discharge device 95 is as described above with reference to FIGS Figure 4 explained discharge device 65 largely identical. It is therefore shown greatly simplified in Figure 7. It differs from the discharging device 65 only by the special adaptation of the wiper body holder 45 to the collapsible wiper body carrier 83. As already explained, the two carrier halves 84 and 85 can be pivoted upwards. This makes it possible to insert the respective areas of the wiping surface 88 associated with a carrier half 84 or 85 with surface normal 89 aligned obliquely to the axis of rotation 55 into the wiping body holder of the discharge device 95. Subsequently, the wiper body carrier 83, together with the wiping body 87 held thereon, is set in rotation as described above for dehumidifying. Due to the foldable design of the wiper body carrier 83, the wiper body carrier 83 receiving discharge device can be configured very compact and with a small size.
