Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wet cleaning device, in particular a wet wiping device, with a cleaning roller rotatably mounted about a roller axis and a roller cover which at least partially surrounds the cleaning roller in the circumferential direction and which has a displaceable cover element for optionally closing and / or opening an opening area of the roller cover.
  • the invention relates to a method for operating a wet cleaning device, in which a cleaning roller rotatable about a roller axis is surrounded by a roller cover for a regeneration operation of the cleaning roller.
  • the DE 102 29 611 B3 discloses a wet cleaning device with a wiper body that can be driven to rotate about an axis of rotation, in which a cleaning liquid is removed from a storage tank and sprayed onto the surface of the wiper body by means of spray nozzles arranged in the direction of the axis of rotation of the wiper body.
  • the wiping body thus moistened is guided over a surface to be cleaned during a wiping operation, the wiping body taking up dirt from the surface to be cleaned.
  • the wiping body is increasingly covered with dirt, so that regeneration is necessary.
  • the wiper body is lifted off the surface to be cleaned, surrounded with a housing and sprayed with unused cleaning fluid.
  • the wiping body rotates at a higher speed than the wiping operation, so that cleaning fluid and dirt are expelled from the wiping body, strike the inside of the housing and can be transferred to a receiving tank. Different speeds can be set depending on the desired degree of moisture that the wiping body is to have after spinning.
  • the cover element and the roller axis are operatively connected to one another via a gear unit connecting the roller axis with a roller drive, such that the gear unit for changing a rotational speed of the cleaning roller by moving the cover element from a first gear stage to a second gear stage, or vice versa, is switchable.
  • the cover element is now connected to the roller axis of the cleaning roller via a gear such that a displacement of the cover element leads to a gear changeover, which allows the cleaning roller to rotate at a different, preferably higher, speed when the roller cover is closed than when the roller cover is open.
  • the cover element is moved during a transition of the wet cleaning device from a wiping operation into a regeneration operation into the opening area of the roller cover, which leads to an actuation of the gear such that the cleaning roller now rotates at a different, preferably higher, speed than when the roller cover is closed with the roller cover open.
  • the gearbox transmits the movement of the roller drive to the roller axis.
  • the gear works either via the first gear stage or via the second gear stage.
  • the two gear stages differ in a step-up or step-down ratio, which causes different speeds of rotation of the cleaning roller.
  • a first gear stage can include a direct connection between a drive element of the roller drive and a corresponding output element of the roller axis, while a second gear stage does not connect the drive element and the output element directly but via additional gear elements. These gear elements cause a reduction, for example, so that the rotational speed of the roller axis is reduced accordingly.
  • the wet cleaning device in the sense of the invention can be a hand-held wet cleaning device or an automatically movable wet cleaning device, for example a cleaning robot.
  • the wet cleaning device can also be a combined wet cleaning suction device and does not have to be limited to a wet cleaning task alone.
  • the wet cleaning device can also be a cleaning device for cleaning floor surfaces, for example floors, or a cleaning device for cleaning overfloor surfaces, such as shelves, baseboards, window sills, window panes and the like.
  • the roller drive for rotating the roller axis of the cleaning roller can be, for example, an electric motor, the drive movement of which is transmitted by means of a toothed belt from a motor shaft to a drive element, which is then either toothed directly with an output element of the roller axis (in the first gear stage) or toothed via further gear elements is (in the second gear stage). All such elements can be used as gear elements that can transmit a rotational movement to the roller axis.
  • gears, racks, friction wheels, worm gears or the like are suitable, the use of gears preferably being suggested.
  • the gear can preferably be switched from the first gear stage to the second gear stage in order to reduce the rotational speed by moving the cover element out of the opening area, and the second gear stage has a reduction ratio compared to the first gear stage.
  • the roller axis is driven by the roller drive via the second gear stage. This results in a reduction via additional gear elements, which are connected between the drive element of the roller drive and the output element of the roller axis and reduce the resulting rotational speed of the roller axis.
  • the cover element is displaced into the opening area of the roller cover during a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device, which in turn causes the gearbox to be switched to the first gear stage, in which the drive element and the output element are directly connected to one another.
  • the roller axis thus rotates at increased speed during the regeneration operation, as a result of which liquid or dirt is thrown off the cleaning roller becomes.
  • the reduction can be effected, for example, by an additional gearwheel or two additional gearwheels, which have a larger number of teeth than the drive element, which is also designed as a gearwheel.
  • the roller cover is pivotally mounted about a cover axis on a device housing of the wet cleaning device and that the device housing has a guide for the cover element, by means of which the roller cover can be pivoted about the cover axis when the cover element is displaced.
  • the displacement of the cover element relative to the other partial areas of the roller cover simultaneously results in a displacement of the entire roller cover relative to the device housing, since the roller cover with the cover element is supported with respect to the guidance of the device housing.
  • the cover element is displaced by means of a cover drive, preferably an electric motor, a cover gear being arranged between the cover drive and the cover element, which transforms the movement of the cover drive into a displacement of the cover element relative to the further partial areas of the roller cover.
  • the cover element can have a toothing on its side facing away from the roller axis, in which a corresponding toothing of the cover gear engages. As a result, a movement of the cover drive can be transformed into a displacement of the cover element.
  • the proposed guide for the cover element can be, for example, a support within the device housing, which is in the manner of a rail or ramp is formed and on which the cover element can slide to get from the closed position into the open position, or vice versa.
  • the device housing preferably has two guides, each of which is assigned to an axial end region of the cover element.
  • the roller axis be fixed in place on the roller cover.
  • the cleaning roller also moves relative to an area on which the wet cleaning device is located.
  • the cleaning roller can thus be lifted from the surface to be cleaned or cleaned at the same time and encased in the circumferential direction by the roller cover.
  • the roller cover is mounted in a vibration-damped manner on the device housing of the wet cleaning device, preferably on the cover axis. This prevents any vibrations of the cleaning roller, which is mounted on the roller cover, from being transmitted to the device housing of the wet cleaning device and prevent a desired constant pressure force of the cleaning roller on a surface to be cleaned.
  • the gear mechanism be arranged displaceably on the roller cover relative to the roller cover.
  • the gear mechanism can thus move relative to the roller cover, in particular also during a displacement movement of the roller cover relative to the device housing of the wet cleaning device.
  • the gearbox can be switched from the first gear stage to the second gear stage, or vice versa.
  • the drive element of the roller drive can at the same time be displaced relative to the roller axis arranged in a stationary manner on the roller cover. It is thus possible for the drive element to be connected either directly to the output element of the roller axis in the first gear stage, or to the output element in the second gear stage via additional gear elements.
  • the additional gear elements are pivoted to the side during operation of the gear in the first gear stage, so that they are not in engagement with the output element of the roller axis.
  • a device housing of the wet cleaning device has a shift gate for switching over the transmission.
  • the shifting gate is arranged in a fixed position on the device housing and serves to guide the transmission during the displacement relative to the roller cover.
  • the gearbox engages, for example, a pin in the shifting gate and is shifted according to the current displacement of the cover element or the entire roller cover.
  • the gear is switched when the cover element is moved from the open position to the closed position to the first gear stage and when the cover element is moved from one Closed position switched to an open position on the second gear stage. All in all, the shifting of the cover element also causes the gearbox to be switched over at the same time, which in turn leads to a change in the rotational speed of the cleaning roller.
  • a method for operating a wet cleaning device in particular such a previously explained wet cleaning device, is also proposed, in which a cleaning roller rotatable about a roller axis is surrounded by a roller cover for a regeneration operation of the cleaning roller, a displacement of an opening area of the Roller cover closing and / or opening cover element causes a changeover of a gearbox connecting the roller axis with a roller drive, such that the gearbox causes a shifting of a cover element closing and / or opening an opening area of the roller cover causes a changeover of a gearbox connecting the roller axis with a roller drive, such that the gear for changing a rotational speed of the cleaning roller by moving the cover member from a first gear stage to a second gear stage, or vice versa, is switched.
  • the transmission be switched by means of a shifting gate arranged on the device housing of the wet cleaning device, in that the gearbox is shifted relative to the shifting gate by displacing the roller cover.
  • FIG. 1 shows a wet cleaning device 1, which is designed here as a wet wiping device with a basic device 23 and an attachment device 24.
  • a handle 26 is arranged on the base device 23 with a handle 27, by means of which a user can guide the wet cleaning device 1 over a surface to be cleaned.
  • the handle 26 is advantageously designed to be telescopic, so that a user can adapt the height of the wet cleaning device 1 to his body size.
  • the user moves the wet cleaning device 1 back and forth across the surface to be cleaned, alternately pushing the wet cleaning device 1 away from him and pulling it towards himself.
  • the attachment device 24 has a device housing 12 in which a tank (not shown) for cleaning liquid is arranged. Cleaning liquid can be poured into the tank via a filler neck 25. Furthermore, a cleaning roller 3 is arranged in the device housing 12 and can be rotated about a roller axis 2. The roller axis 2 is in the Essentially perpendicular to a normal direction of movement of the wet cleaning device 1. The cleaning liquid can be dispensed from the tank onto the surface of the cleaning roller 3 in order to moisten it.
  • the cleaning roller 3 rotates about the roller axis 2, so that the peripheral surface of the cleaning roller 3 continuously rolls on the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is usually wrapped with a cleaning coating, optionally with the interposition of an additional liquid-storing sponge body.
  • the cleaning surface here is, for example, a textile cleaning cloth.
  • dirt is continuously deposited on the cleaning roller 3, i.e. H. the cleaning surface. It may therefore be necessary to regenerate the cleaning roller 3 after a certain operating time, dirt and contaminated liquid being removed from the cleaning roller 3 during a regeneration operation.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is rotated at a speed which is higher than the speed of the cleaning roller 3 during the wiping operation. This causes dirt and liquid contaminated with dirt to be thrown off the cleaning roller 3.
  • the sprayed-off liquid can be collected and fed to a collecting container.
  • FIG. 2 shows a partial area of the wet cleaning device 1 in a perspective sectional view.
  • a roller cover 4 is pivotally mounted on the device housing 12 about a cover axis 11.
  • the roller cover 4 has an opening area 6, which can be closed or opened by means of a cover element 5 of the roller cover 4.
  • the cover element 5 is semicircular and completely completes the roller cover 4 in the circumferential direction when it is shifted into the opening region 6.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is rotatably mounted about the roller axis 2, the roller axis 2 being the center of rotation for the cover element 5 of the roller cover 4 at the same time.
  • a cover drive 15 is arranged on the roller cover 4, which causes the cover element 5 to rotate about the roller axis 2 via a cover gear 16.
  • the cover drive 15 is an electric motor here.
  • the cover gear 16 is designed as a gearwheel gear and engages in an outer peripheral surface of the cover element 5, which is also designed as a gearwheel.
  • the cover drive 15 is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the roller cover 4, so that the cover drive 15 is also pivoted when the roller cover 4 is pivoted about the cover axis 11.
  • roller drive 7 which drives the roller axis 2 and thus ensures that the cleaning roller 3 rotates.
  • the roller drive 7 is movable relative to the roller cover 4.
  • the roller drive 7 is here also an electric motor and via a gear 8 (in Figure 2 arranged on the non-visible back) connected to the roller axis 2.
  • the wet cleaning device 1 is in a wiping operation, in which the cleaning roller 3 protrudes from the opening area 6 of the roller cover 4 for cleaning a surface and is in contact with the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cover element 5 is displaced into the device housing 12 during the wiping operation, so that the opening area 6 is completely open.
  • Figure 3 shows a parking position of the wet cleaning device 1, in which the cleaning roller 3 is lifted from the surface to be cleaned, that is, compared to the in Figure 2 shown wiping operation is further shifted into the device housing 12 of the wet cleaning device 1.
  • the opening area 6 of the roller cover 4 is still open, but the cover member 5 (as later with reference to FIG Figures 9 and 10 is explained in more detail) at least partially into the opening area 6.
  • the cleaning roller 3 lifted off the surface can dry.
  • Figure 4 shows the wet cleaning device 1 during a regeneration operation.
  • the cleaning roller 3 is completely surrounded by the roller cover 4 in the circumferential direction and the cover element 5 is completely displaced into the opening area 6.
  • the cleaning roller 3 rotates at a higher rotational speed than a wiping operation, so that dirt and liquid can be optimally thrown off the cleaning roller 3.
  • the displacement of the cover element 5 from the open position of the wiping operation ( Figure 2 ) in the closed position of the regeneration operation ( Figure 4 ) takes place on the basis of an actuation of the cover drive 15, in which the cover element 5 is pivoted into the opening area 6 via the cover gear 16 and thus closes the roller cover 4.
  • the cover element 5 abuts against a guide 13 formed on the device housing 12 (in the Figures 5 and 6 shown), which is arranged on the end of the roller cover 4 with respect to an axial direction. Due to the continued displacement of the cover element 5 in the closing direction, the roller cover 4 is displaced away from the guide 13 and thus also from the surface to be cleaned, wherein the roller cover 4 pivots about the cover axis 11 arranged on the device housing 12.
  • the guide 13 can be designed, for example, in the manner of a rail or ramp.
  • Figure 7 shows a perspective view of a portion of the wet cleaning device 1, which in the illustration according to Figure 2 (Wiping operation) corresponds to a view of the wet cleaning device 1 from the rear left.
  • the roller drive 7, which is arranged on the roller cover 4 and serves to rotate the roller axis 2 and thus also the cleaning roller 3, can be seen.
  • the gear 8 connecting the roller drive 7 to the roller axis 2 is movably mounted on the roller cover 4 via the roller drive 7.
  • the gearbox 8 is enclosed by a gearbox 28 and engages in a shifting link 14 which is formed on the device housing 12. When the roller cover 4 is shifted about the cover axis 11, the transmission 8 is thus switched by the shifting link 14, namely from the first transmission stage 9 to the second transmission stage 10, or vice versa.
  • FIGS. 9 and 10 illustrate the mode of operation during the changeover of the transmission 8.
  • a cross section through a plane of the wet cleaning device 1 is shown, which runs through the transmission case 28 surrounding the transmission 8.
  • the gear 8 has a drive gear 18 and two further gears 19, 20.
  • the drive gear 18 is connected to the drive axis 22 of the roller drive 7 by means of a toothed belt 17.
  • the drive gear 18 is rotationally fixed with respect to a radial direction of the drive axis 22, so that the drive gear 18 maintains the relative orientation to the roller drive 7 when the roller drive 7 is displaced. Due to the previously described displacement of the roller cover 4 about the axis of the cover 11, the combination of the roller drive 7 and the drive gear 18 is also shifted simultaneously. Due to the guidance in the shifting link 14, the drive gear 18 and the further gear wheels 19, 20 of the transmission 8 are displaced by to be able to switch between gear stages 9, 10.
  • the gear 8 here has two gear stages 9, 10, namely the first gear stage 9, in which the drive gear 18 is directly connected to a roller gear 21 of the roller axis 2, and the second gear stage 10, in which the drive gear 18 via the two further gears 19, 20 is connected to the roller gear 21.
  • the gear 8 is operated in the first gear stage 9, which corresponds to a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1, the drive gear 18 engages directly with the roller gear 21.
  • the gear 8 is operated during a wiping operation of the wet cleaning device 1 in the second gear stage 10, in which the drive gear 18 is connected to the roller gear 21 via the two additional gears 19, 20.
  • the two gearwheels 19, 20 have a larger number of teeth than the drive gearwheel 18, as a result of which a reduction occurs by switching to the second gear stage 10.
  • the roller axis 2 rotates at an operation of the transmission 8 in the second transmission stage 10 and thus during the wiping operation of the wet cleaning device 1 at a rotational speed which is reduced compared to the regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1.
  • the cleaning roller 3 rotates accordingly faster.
  • the gear 8 can of course also have an even greater number of gear stages 9, 10, which can be switched by further shifting positions of the cover element 5.
  • the invention functions here on the basis of the Figure 2 shown wiping operation so that the cover element 5 to initiate the regeneration operation by means of the cover drive 15 is shifted into the opening area 6 of the roller cover 4.
  • the operation of the cover drive 15 can be triggered, for example, by means of a switch by the user of the wet cleaning device 1, or alternatively also automatically by the wet cleaning device 1, for example if a predefined degree of contamination of the cleaning roller 3 is detected.
  • the displacement of the cover element 5 causes the roller cover 4 to be lifted from the surface to be cleaned, since the cover element 5 acts against the guides 13 formed on the device housing 12.
  • the roller cover 4 pivots about the cover axis 11.
  • the gear 8 which is movably mounted on the roller cover 4 is also pivoted at the same time and is switched from the second gear stage 10 to the first gear stage 9 by the interaction with the shifting gate 14, in which the drive gear 18 is in direct engagement with the roller gear 21.
  • the two gears 19, 20 of the second gear stage 10 are pivoted to the side and no longer connect the drive gear 18 to the roller gear 21.
  • the reduction of the second gear stage 10 is thus without function during the regeneration operation and the cleaning roller 3 can be increased compared to the wiping operation Rotate speed.
  • the wet cleaning device 1 can be switched back to the wiping operation.
  • the cover element 5 is moved out of the opening area 6, as a result of which the method steps explained above are carried out in the reverse order, ie the opening of the roller cover 4 causes the roller cover 4 and the cleaning roller 3 to be lowered onto the surface to be cleaned, which in turn causes a switchover of the transmission 8 to the first transmission stage 10.
  • the cleaning roller 3 rotates during the wiping operation at a reduced speed compared to the regeneration operation.
