Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wet cleaning device, in particular a wet wiping device, with a cleaning roller rotatably mounted about a roller axis and a roller cover which at least partially surrounds the cleaning roller in the circumferential direction and which has at least one displaceable cover element for optionally closing and / or releasing an opening area of the roller cover.
  • the invention relates to a method for operating a wet cleaning device, wherein a rotatable cleaning roller for a regeneration operation of the cleaning roller is moved away from a surface to be cleaned and at least one displaceable cover element is moved into an opening area of a roller cover that at least partially surrounds the cleaning roller in the circumferential direction.
  • the DE 102 29 611 B3 discloses, for example, a wet cleaning device with a wiper body which can be driven to rotate about an axis of rotation, in which a cleaning liquid is removed from a storage tank and sprayed onto the surface of the wiper body.
  • the wiping body moistened in this way is guided over a surface to be cleaned during a wiping operation, the wiper body absorbing dirt from the surface to be cleaned.
  • the wiping body is increasingly covered with dirt, so that regeneration is necessary.
  • the wiper body is lifted off the surface to be cleaned, surrounded with a housing that is telescopic in the circumferential direction of the wiper body and sprayed with unused cleaning fluid.
  • the wiper body rotates so that cleaning fluid and dirt are expelled from the wiper body, hit the inside of the housing and are transferred to a receiving tank.
  • the wiping body is lifted off the surface to be cleaned for a regeneration operation by a user of the wet cleaning device.
  • the telescopic housing is also manually guided around the wiper body. This is uncomfortable because the user has to carry out a plurality of operations which require a not insignificant period of time until the roller cover is completely closed and the regeneration operation can start.
  • the wet cleaning device have a first cover element and a second cover element, which can be displaced in relation to one another in relation to a circumferential direction of the cleaning roller, around the opening area to close and / or release from opposite circumferential directions.
  • a transition from a wiping operation to a regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device is thus possible more quickly.
  • the same also applies to a change from a regeneration operation to a wiping operation, the two cover elements likewise being simultaneously moved out of the opening area in opposite directions.
  • the cover elements can, for example, each be designed as a quarter circle section, so that together they cover half the circumference of the cleaning roller.
  • the roller cover can furthermore have a semicircular region which is stationary on the housing of the wet cleaning device and which additionally covers the cleaning roller in combination with the displaceable cover elements, so that complete housing is possible in the circumferential direction. Since the two cover elements are symmetrical with respect to the roller axis, the semicircular region of the housing and the cover elements can together form a circular roller cover.
  • the circular shape of the roller cover enables optimal removal of the liquid or dirt within the roller cover. In addition, the circular shape is also much smaller Manufacturing effort connected as, for example, a freeform surface.
  • the displaceable cover elements are coupled to the cleaning roller, in particular the roller axis, via a gear such that the covering elements can be displaced by moving the cleaning roller, and vice versa.
  • This configuration enables the cover elements to be displaced relative to the opening area of the roller cover and the cleaning roller to be moved out of or into the housing of the wet cleaning device.
  • the cover elements are located, for example, outside the opening area, while the cleaning roller protrudes with a peripheral partial area from the housing of the wet cleaning device, namely through the opening area of the roller cover.
  • the cleaning roller In order to switch from the wiping operation to the regeneration operation, the cleaning roller is now lifted off the surface to be cleaned, for example, and is thus also displaced relative to the housing of the wet cleaning device.
  • the displacement of the cover elements and the displacement of the cleaning roller are thus coupled to one another.
  • a user of the wet cleaning device must therefore only initiate at most one of the displacements, namely either the displacement of the cleaning roller or the displacement of the cover elements, for example by actuating a switch.
  • the displacements ie initially one of the displacements, can also be initiated automatically, for example by means of a sensor system and control which, for example, detects the degree of soiling of the cleaning roller and then automatically initiates a regeneration operation.
  • a sensor system and control which, for example, detects the degree of soiling of the cleaning roller and then automatically initiates a regeneration operation.
  • the gear mechanism have a cover guide link formed in a housing of the wet cleaning device, into which engaging elements arranged on the cover elements engage.
  • the cover guide link can, for example, have a guide groove in which the engagement element or the engagement elements are displaced.
  • early or late closing of the opening area relative to the displacement of the cleaning roller can be controlled.
  • the cover guide link can initially have a relatively flat and then a relatively steeper course in order to end the closing of the roller cover before the cleaning roller has reached its final position for the regeneration operation.
  • Such an embodiment is particularly advantageous in order to be able to provide a circular form of the closed roller cover.
  • the transmission can of course also be designed differently, for example in the form of a gear transmission, which transmits a movement of the cleaning roller to the cover elements or transmits a movement of the cover elements to the cleaning roller.
  • the cover guide link it is proposed that it have a first partial guide link, in which an engagement element of the first cover element engages, and a second partial guide link, in which an engagement element of the second cover element engages.
  • the cover guide link thus has two, in particular, separately designed partial guide links for the first cover element and the second cover element.
  • the partial guide links can advantageously have end stops for the respective engagement element, which define the end positions of the respective cover element in relation to the wiping operation or the regeneration operation. Care should be taken to ensure that the partial guide links of the cover elements do not cross with respect to a viewing direction in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning roller, so that the displacements of the cover elements do not interfere with one another. This can be achieved by an appropriate arrangement of the partial guide links on the housing of the wet cleaning device and by an appropriate placement of the engaging elements on the cover elements.
  • the cover elements can be displaced in the circumferential direction of the cleaning roller about a common cover axis, in particular can be rotated about the roller axis.
  • This configuration is particularly useful in order to achieve a symmetrical arrangement of the cover elements relative to the cleaning roller and thus to achieve the best possible removal of liquid or dirt from the roller cover.
  • the smallest possible design of the roller cover and thus also of the housing of the wet cleaning device is thereby achieved.
  • the cover elements are also automatically and in a particularly simple manner in a corresponding direction - in addition to the displacement of the cover elements in the circumferential direction of the cleaning roller.
  • Another advantage is that the shifted cleaning roller, in particular the shifted roller axis, cannot therefore collide with the cover axis.
  • the cleaning roller can be displaced relative to a housing of the wet cleaning device by means of a displacement drive.
  • the roller axis be arranged on a swivel arm mounted on the housing of the damp cleaning device so that it can pivot about a swivel axis.
  • the displacement drive can be, for example, an electric motor, a lifting magnet or the like.
  • a pivot arm is assigned to the roller axis, which connects the roller axis to the housing of the wet cleaning device.
  • This swivel arm can either be swiveled manually by the user of the wet cleaning device or automatically by the proposed displacement drive.
  • the displacement of the roller axis and thus also of the cleaning roller thus takes place along a curved path which essentially has a radius which corresponds to the length of the swivel arm.
  • the swivel arm carries the roller axis which is preferably oriented parallel to the swivel axis and which is thus displaced when the swivel arm is swiveled along a circular path about the swivel axis of the swivel arm.
  • a lever can be varied which determines the force required to displace the roller axis.
  • the housing advantageously has a roller guide link for guiding the cleaning roller during a displacement.
  • the roller guide link can in turn be designed as a guide groove within the housing, into which a partial area of the cleaning roller, in particular a partial area of the roller axis, engages.
  • a partial area of the cleaning roller in particular a partial area of the roller axis
  • an end section of the roller axis which is connected to the swivel arm for displacing the cleaning roller, can engage in the roller guide link and be guided there along a circular section during its displacement movement.
  • the roller guide link and the cover guide link are assigned to opposite end faces of the cleaning roller.
  • the roller guide link is assigned to a first end face of the cleaning roller and the cover guide link is assigned to the opposite second end side of the cleaning roller, so that the guide links are formed on partial areas of the housing of the wet cleaning device which are adjacent to different end faces of the cleaning roller. It is thereby achieved that the roller guide link and the cover guide link do not overlap in the same plane, which could otherwise lead to an uncertainty in the displacement movement of the cover elements and / or the cleaning roller in the overlap region.
  • the roller guide link and the cover guide link are assigned to the same end face of the cleaning roller, the cover guide link, in particular a partial guide link, being associated with an auxiliary guide link, which is related to a viewing direction in the longitudinal direction the cleaning roller is in particular designed to provide an always unambiguous guide direction for the cover element or the cover elements when the roller guide link and the cover guide link overlap.
  • the cover guide link and a cover guide link in the area of both end faces of the cleaning roller, which is particularly advantageous for a uniform displacement sequence of the cleaning roller and / or the cover elements and for preventing canting during the transfer.
  • the auxiliary guide link must only be assigned to such a partial guide link which overlaps with the roller guide link.
  • a partial guide link which in contrast has no overlap with the roller guide link, does not require the assignment of an auxiliary guide link.
  • the auxiliary guide link can have a widening in relation to this area, which is excessive compared to an engaging element of the cover element engaging in the auxiliary guide link, so that the engaging element does not abut the partial guide link and therefore the guide element is not guided by the auxiliary guide link. Last but not least, an overdetermined displacement of the cover elements is avoided.
  • the cover guide link In a guide area of the cover guide link, which is the roller guide link crosses, the cover guide link is associated with the auxiliary guide link with a second guide area which is tapered compared to the previously mentioned widened guide area. Due to the tapered design of this guide area, the engagement element of the respective cover element now lies against the auxiliary guide link and can be guided through it. A shifting of the engagement element of the cover element - also through the roller guide link - is thus possible along a clear displacement path.
  • the invention also proposes a method for operating a wet cleaning device, in particular for operating a previously explained wet cleaning device, wherein a rotatable cleaning roller is displaced away from a surface to be cleaned for regeneration operation of the cleaning roller and at least one displaceable cover element in one Opening area of a roller cover at least partially surrounding the cleaning roller in the circumferential direction is displaced, and wherein a first cover element and a second cover element are displaced relative to one another in relation to a circumferential direction of the cleaning roller in order to close and / or open the opening region from opposite circumferential directions.
  • the displaceable cover elements are coupled to the cleaning roller via a gear so that the cover elements are displaced by moving the cleaning roller, and vice versa.
  • the gear mechanism can in particular have a cover guide link formed in a housing of the wet cleaning device, into which engaging elements arranged on the cover elements engage. Furthermore, the cover elements and the cleaning roller are moved by means of the cover guide link and / or the Roller guide link and / or the auxiliary guide link as previously explained.
  • wet cleaning devices are to be understood as all those devices which can exclusively or among other things perform wet cleaning. These include, on the one hand, the hand-held and automatically movable wet cleaning devices, in particular also cleaning robots and, on the other hand, also combined dry and wet cleaning devices, which can carry out both wet cleaning and dry cleaning.
  • wet cleaning devices for cleaning surface areas in the sense of the invention. These include, for example, devices for cleaning windows and the like.
  • Figure 1 shows a wet cleaning device 1, which is designed here as a wet wiping device with a basic device 23 and an attachment device 24.
  • a handle 26 with a handle 27 is arranged on the base device 23, by means of which a user can guide the wet cleaning device 1 over a surface to be cleaned.
  • the handle 26 is advantageously designed to be telescopic, so that a user can adapt the height of the wet cleaning device 1 to his body size.
  • the user shifts the wet cleaning device 1 back and forth across the surface to be cleaned, alternately pushing the wet cleaning device 1 away from him and pulling it towards himself.
  • the front attachment 24 has a housing 17, in which a tank (not shown) for cleaning liquid, for example water, is arranged. Cleaning liquid can be poured into the tank via a filler neck 25 become. Furthermore, a cleaning roller 2 is arranged in the housing 17 and can be rotated about a roller axis 3.
  • the roller axis 3 is essentially perpendicular to a usual direction of movement of the wet cleaning device 1, in which the user alternately pushes the wet cleaning device 1 away from him and pulls it towards himself.
  • the cleaning liquid can be dispensed from the tank onto the surface of the cleaning roller 2 in order to moisten it.
  • the cleaning roller 2 rotates about the roller axis 3, so that the peripheral surface of the cleaning roller 2 continuously rolls on the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning roller 2 is usually wrapped with a cleaning covering, optionally with the interposition of an additional liquid-storing sponge body.
  • the cleaning surface here is, for example, a textile cleaning cloth.
  • dirt is continuously deposited on the cleaning roller 2, i. H. the cleaning surface. It may therefore be necessary to regenerate the cleaning roller 2 after a certain period of operation, wherein dirt and contaminated liquid are removed from the cleaning roller 2 during a regeneration operation.
  • the cleaning roller 2 is usually rotated at a speed which is higher than the speed of the cleaning roller 2 during the wiping operation. This causes dirt and liquid contaminated with dirt to be thrown off the cleaning roller 2.
  • the sprayed-off liquid can be collected and fed to a collecting container.
  • Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a portion of the attachment 24 in which the cleaning roller 2 is held rotatable about the roller axis 3.

  • the cover guide link 9 has two partial guide links 12, 13, each of which has a guide groove.
  • An engagement element 10 of the first cover element 5 engages in the partial guide link 12, while an engagement element 11 of the second cover element 6 engages in the partial guide link 13.
  • the engagement elements 10, 11 are designed as sliding blocks.
  • wiping works the displacement of the cleaning roller 2 in the housing 17 and the encapsulation of the cleaning roller 2 by means of the cover elements 5, 6 for the in Figure 6 shown regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1 so, that the swivel arm 18 is first swiveled clockwise about the swivel axis 16 by means of the displacement drive 15.

  • the regeneration operation of the wet cleaning device 1 can be started, the cleaning roller 2 being rotated at high speed, for example greater than 2,000 revolutions per minute (with a roller diameter of 45 mm, for example), and dirty liquid located on the cleaning roller 2 within the roller cover 4 can be thrown off and fed to a collection container.
  • the change from the regeneration operation to a wiping operation of the wet cleaning device 1 then takes place in the reverse order, whereby the swivel arm 18 is first displaced again by means of the displacement drive 15, namely based on the usual orientation of the wet cleaning device 1, towards the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cover elements 5, 6 are pivoted out of the opening area 7 of the roller cover 4 again by means of the gear 8, so that the cleaning roller 2 comes to rest on the surface to be cleaned.
  • Due to the shape, in particular the slope of the partial guide links 12, 13 of the cover guide link 9, a time sequence between the displacement of the cleaning roller 2 and the displacement of the cover elements 5, 6 can be predetermined. For example, due to the initially relatively small slope of the partial guide links 12, 13 (starting from the wiping operation), it is possible to first completely shift the cover elements 5, 6 into the opening area 7 before the cleaning roller 2 reaches the end position for the regeneration operation.
  • FIGS 7 to 9 show a second embodiment of the invention, in which both a cover guide link 9 and a roller guide link 19 are formed on the housing 17 in the region of both end faces 20, 21 of the cleaning roller 2.
  • This is particularly advantageous for a uniform displacement movement of the cleaning roller 2 and the cover elements 5, 6 and for preventing canting during the displacement movements.
  • the housing 17 has in the area of at least one of the end faces 20, 21 there is also an auxiliary guide link 22, in which an additional engagement element 32 of the cover element 5 engages, the partial guide link 12 of which intersects with the roller guide link 19 (based on a viewing direction in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning roller 2).
  • Such an auxiliary guide link 22 is not necessary for the partial guide link 13, since the partial guide link 13 has no overlap with the roller guide link 19.
  • the auxiliary guide link 22 has two guide areas 28, 29, of which a first guide area 28 has a greater width than a second guide area 29. This means that the engagement element 32 in the guide area 28 is not guided by the auxiliary guide link 22, so that the Displacement of the cover element 5 in this area is only performed by the partial guide link 12 of the cover guide link 9. In the area of overlap of the cover guide link 9 with the roller guide link 19, on the other hand, the engagement element 32 is guided by the guide area 29, so that the engagement element 10 can pass through the overlap area in a clear displacement direction.
