  • the rotary member 120 is disposed with respect to the floor 28 so that an operator in the area 40 when a size of the operator is in an average range and the operator stands up on the floor 28 and the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 properly stands up on the floor 28 , the rotary member 120 can grip without bending over.
  • a distance a in which the rotary element 120 is arranged above the floor 28 is at least 40 cm and in particular at least 50 cm.
  • the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 has a traction drive.
  • a drive motor may be provided which, for example, drives the wheels 24, 26 of the wheel device 20 (not shown in the drawings).
  • the traction drive of the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 is effected by frictional contact of the cleaning tool 42 with the bottom 28.
  • a rotation of the cleaning tool 42 causes depending on the direction of rotation a feed in the forward direction 22 or against the forward direction 22nd
  • the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 of the invention operates as follows: In a cleaning operation, the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 is placed on the floor 28 to be cleaned. The cleaning tool 42 contacts the floor 28. The suction bar 34 also contacts the floor 28.
  • An operator stands in area 40 and grips the handle unit.
  • liquid and in particular water is provided to the opening or openings 104 for the cleaning tool 42.
  • the corresponding fresh water comes from the tank 78 (and any other tanks) of the tank means 74th
  • the cleaning tool 42 which is in particular a brush performs, for example, a scrubbing through.
  • the trailer floor cleaning machine 10 is driven to an area to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning tool 42 acts on the area to be cleaned.
  • the suction bar 34 When driving over then applied the suction bar 34, the area to be cleaned and excess liquid is sucked off.
  • An operator adjusts the liquid supply to the cleaning tool 42 via the rotary element 120. He can turn on the liquid supply or switch off. Furthermore, it can dose the length of the supplied liquid. A rotation of the rotary member 120 is thereby transmitted directly via the rod 122 to the shut-off body 94 of the locking member 82. A defined by the rotary member 120 rotational position also determines the corresponding position of the shut-94.
  • Liquid exiting the mouth 84 of the obturator 82 is provided directly to the opening 104, or is provided to the trough 106, with liquid then flowing to the opening 104 in the trough 106. There is no hose connection between the obturator and the opening 104.
  • the blocking member 82 is flanged directly to the tank 78 via the connection piece 86 and is also arranged directly above the cleaning tool 42, so that the supply path or routes for liquid from the tank 78 to the cleaning tool 42 are minimized.
