Definitions

  • the invention relates to a suction vehicle with a suction fan, a suction line and a suction mouth for guiding a suction flow.
  • the suction mouth comprises a base unit and an adapter unit arranged on the base unit.
  • the adapter unit includes a suction port and an adapter outlet port.
  • the vacuum vehicle is designed in such a way that the suction stream flows through the suction opening into the adapter unit, from the adapter unit through the adapter outlet opening into the base unit and through the suction line.
  • multi-purpose vehicles can, for example, be fitted with a sweeper with broom for removing chippings, debris and other materials, a scrubber for thorough cleaning of surfaces or a mower for lawn care.
  • a suction device When sweeping, scrubbing, and mowing, a suction device sucks the dirt or other materials into a collection container.
  • multi-purpose vehicles can also be equipped, for example, with a flooding system, with a watering arm, with a salt spreader or with a snow-clearing device.
  • the suction device is out of order.
  • Multi-purpose vehicles should preferably be designed in such a way that the various modules can be assembled and disassembled again with as little effort as possible.
  • EP 2 447 419 and EP 2 778 288 show a floor cleaning machine with an attachable attachment.
  • the attachment includes a suction opening.
  • FR 2 949 795 discloses a suction line for a cleaning vehicle.
  • the suction line has an open end in front of the front axle of the vehicle. The open end can be extended with a stub.
  • EP 2 168 424 shows a front-mounted receiving unit for a leaf collection vehicle.
  • the receiving unit is attached to the front axle part by means of two support arms arranged on the outside.
  • U.S. 9,702,101 describes a control unit with interchangeable attachments for an industrial vacuum cleaner, which can be used, for example, in excavations.
  • the task is to provide a suction vehicle in which the suction mouth can be adapted as simply as possible to a wide variety of applications.
  • a suction vehicle comprises a suction fan, a suction line and a suction mouth for guiding a suction flow.
  • the suction mouth has a base unit and an adapter unit arranged on the base unit.
  • the adapter unit can be decoupled from the suction vehicle and from the base unit.
  • the adapter unit includes a suction port and an adapter outlet port. During operation, the suction flow flows through the suction opening into the adapter unit. The suction stream flows through the adapter unit and leaves it through the adapter outlet opening. From there, the suction stream flows into the base unit and through the suction line.
  • the suction device, the suction fan, the suction line and the base unit are in particular permanently mounted on the suction vehicle.
  • the adapter unit can be slid sideways to the main direction of travel onto the base unit for coupling to the suction vehicle.
  • Sideways means in particular at an angle of between 45° and 135° to the main direction of travel.
  • the main direction of travel is straight ahead with the steering position in neutral.
  • the adapter outlet opening is arranged on the side, in particular on a rear side, of the adapter unit. This means that in the normal operating position, the suction flow leaves the adapter unit neither up nor down. The suction flow emerges from the side of the adapter unit.
  • the coupling to the base unit can be configured in a particularly simple manner.
  • the term "side” excludes top and bottom but includes all other sides of the adapter assembly. If the adapter unit is cuboid, for example, the term “sideways" would include the front, the back, the left and the right side.
  • the adapter unit is advantageously designed to be open towards the rear, in particular essentially. This means that the adapter unit essentially no back wall included.
  • the suction flow is thus guided in the adapter unit in particular by side walls and through an upper and a lower limit and leaves the adapter unit towards the rear.
  • the upper limit is provided by a cover and the lower limit is provided by the surface to be vacuumed, for example the road surface.
  • “Rear” is to be understood in relation to the direction of travel, ie the suction flow enters at the front and exits towards the rear.
  • the suction mouth is designed in such a way that the suction stream flows essentially horizontally from the adapter unit into the base unit. The suction flow thus does not leave the adapter unit with a partial upward flow direction.
  • the suction opening is at most 1.1 times, in particular at most 1.2 times, in particular at most 1.5 times, in particular at most 2 times as wide as the adapter outlet opening.
  • the flow area of the suction flow does not narrow at all or only slightly within the adapter unit. It is also possible that the flow area of the suction flow increases within the adapter unit. As a result, the length of the adapter unit along the flow direction can be kept relatively short, since the narrowing of the flow surface occurs mainly within the base unit and not within the adapter unit.
  • the adapter unit in particular the adapter outlet opening, is designed to be open towards the bottom. This means that the adapter unit is limited at most only towards the top and sides by walls. During operation, the suction stream in particular is guided from below through the surface to be vacuumed. As a result, the adapter unit can be designed in an extremely simple manner.
  • the adapter unit is essentially cuboid and has an open rear and an open underside.
  • the flow area within the base unit narrows by at least 1.2 times, in particular at least 1.5 times, in particular at least 2 times, in particular at least 3 times.
  • a narrowing of the flow area means that the cross-sectional area at the base unit outlet port is smaller than at the base unit inlet port. The flow area decreases within the base unit along the direction of flow.
  • the base unit cannot be decoupled from the suction vehicle.
  • the narrowing of the flow area within the base unit has the advantage that the flow area does not have to be narrowed within the adapter unit, so that the adapter unit can be configured as compactly as possible.
  • a coupling rail for coupling the adapter unit to the suction vehicle is advantageously arranged on the upper side of the adapter unit. This allows easy coupling and decoupling of the adapter unit with the suction vehicle.
  • the extension of the adapter unit transversely to the flow direction of the suction flow is greater, in particular at least 1.5 times as large, in particular at least twice as large, in particular at least three times as large, than the extension of the adapter unit in the flow direction.
  • the adapter unit is thus designed to be extremely compact, so that the coupling and decoupling with the suction vehicle can be carried out extremely easily.
  • the base unit in particular with the adapter unit, is arranged such that it can be raised and lowered inside the suction vehicle.
  • the adapter unit includes projections and the suction vehicle gripping elements, which are designed such that the adapter unit can be coupled by the suction vehicle running over the adapter unit and gripping the projections with the gripping elements.
  • the adapter unit is advantageously a sweeping device, a scrubbing device, or a mowing device and/or the suction vehicle includes a driver's seat, in particular with the suction nozzle being arranged below the driver's seat, and/or the suction vehicle includes a traction drive.
  • the suction vehicle with a front end 1 and a rear end 2.
  • the front end 1 includes a driver's cab 3 with a driver's seat 4 and a front wheel device 5.
  • the rear end 2 includes a rear wheel device 6 and a receiving area 7 for a structure that is interchangeable.
  • the structure is a suction container 8 with a suction fan 9.
  • a tank, a spreader, etc., for example, could also be provided as a structure.
  • a travel drive 10 is arranged on the rear carriage 2 .
  • the main direction of travel of the suction vehicle corresponds to the arrow 11.
  • the front end 12 and the rear end 13 of the suction vehicle are also defined in accordance with the main direction of travel.
  • the suction vehicle can be designed without articulated steering.
  • it can be a four-wheel-steered vehicle or a two-wheel-steered vehicle.
  • the front end comprises a chassis 14 on which the front wheel device 5, a sweeping device 15 and a suction mouth 16 are arranged.
  • the suction mouth 16 and the suction container 8 are connected to one another via a suction line 17 .
  • the suction flow thus flows through the suction mouth 16 and through the suction line 17 to the suction container 8.
  • the sweeping device 15 comprises at least two brooms 18 which are spaced apart and arranged at the front end 12 of the vehicle. They move in the direction of rotation 19, as shown in 2 is drawn.
  • the two brooms 18 clean the surface to be cleaned 20, which is in particular a road, and transport chippings, rubble and other materials that are on the road to the center between the two brooms 18 and towards the rear in the direction of arrow 21 to the suction mouth 16.
  • the suction mouth 16 is arranged below the chassis 14, below the driver's seat 4 and between the wheels of the front wheel device 5. It includes an adapter unit 22 and a base unit 23.
  • the base unit 23 is firmly connected to the suction vehicle. Inside the suction vehicle, it can be raised and thus supplied when the suction function is not in use. Both 1 the base unit 23 is in operation. It is supported on wheels on the surface 20 to be cleaned.
  • the 2 shows the adapter unit 22 in an unassembled state.
  • the adapter unit 22 can, sideways (as in 2 illustrated) are pushed onto the base unit 23.
  • the sideways direction is at right angles to the main direction of travel 11.
  • sideways does not mean exclusively at right angles.
  • Sideways means in particular at an angle of between 45° and 135° to the main direction of travel 11.
  • the suction mouth with the base unit 23 and the adapter unit 22 is shown in detail.
  • the 3 and 5 show the suction mouth in a decoupled form.
  • the suction mouth is shown in the coupled, operative position.
  • the suction vehicle moves in the main direction of travel 11.
  • the dirt passes from the surface to be cleaned through a suction opening 24 in direction 25 into the adapter unit 22.
  • the dirt is picked up by the suction flow.
  • a cover 26 is arranged, which is designed so large that the dirt through the Suction opening 24 reaches the adapter unit 22, but at the same time is designed so small that the suction flow still has sufficient suction power.
  • the suction flow leaves the adapter unit 22 through the adapter outlet opening 27 arranged on the rear in the direction of the arrow 28.
  • the suction flow carries the picked-up dirt with it.
  • the adapter unit 22 is designed essentially cuboid and open towards the bottom.
  • suction stream flows in the direction of the arrow 29 from the adapter outlet opening 27 into the base unit 23.
  • the directions of the arrows 28 and 29 are identical 3 but shown separately because adapter unit 22 and base unit 23 are shown offset and decoupled.
  • the suction flow narrows in the funnel 30 onto the flow surface of the suction line 17 and flows through it to the suction container 8.
  • the constriction of the suction flow onto the flow surface of the suction line 17 thus takes place mainly within the base unit 23 .
  • the flow does not narrow at all within the adapter unit 22 .
  • the flow could narrow only slightly.
  • the suction opening 24 and the adapter outlet opening 27 have identical widths 31 and 32.
  • the adapter unit 22 can be designed to be short in length 33 and therefore extremely compact overall.
  • the adapter unit 22 and the base unit 23 are shown laterally offset and decoupled.
  • the adapter unit 22 In order to prepare the suction mouth for operation, the adapter unit 22 must be pushed sideways along the dotted line 34 onto the base unit 23.
  • the adapter unit 22 includes a coupling rail 35 which can be pushed sideways into a guide 36 of the base unit 23 .
  • the 4 shows the suction mouth in a coupled and operational state.
  • a locking device 37 fixes the coupling rail 35 of the adapter unit 22 to the guide 36 of the base unit 23.
  • the cover 26 can be moved via the connecting element 38 in order to enlarge and reduce the suction opening 24. This allows objects of different sizes to be sucked in.
  • the suction stream flows from the adapter unit 22 essentially horizontally into the base unit 23 and then through the funnel 30 into the suction line 17.
  • the figure 5 shows the suction mouth in a decoupled state from the back.
  • the outlet opening 27 can be seen on the back of the adapter unit 22 .
  • the adapter outlet opening 27 is formed in that the rear side of the adapter unit 22 is designed to be open.
  • the adapter unit 22 is thus limited only by a cover 26 to the front, by side walls and by a top wall.
  • the suction stream then flows inside the base unit 23 through the funnel 30 into the suction line 17.
  • the flow channel is delimited towards the rear by a rear cover 39 of the base unit 23.
  • the 6 shows a sectional view through the middle of the coupled suction mouth, ie a section through the suction mouth according to FIG 4 .
  • the coupling rail 35 and the guide 36 lie one inside the other, so that the adapter unit 22 and the base unit 23 are coupled to one another.
  • the 7 Figure 12 shows an alternative adapter unit comprising projections 43.
  • the adapter unit 22 can be coupled to the base unit by the suction vehicle driving over the adapter unit 22, gripping it by means of gripping elements 44 which are arranged on the suction vehicle, and thus coupling the adapter unit to the base unit.
  • the 8 shows a vacuum vehicle with a scrubbing device 40 and the 9 1 shows a suction vehicle with a mowing device 41.
  • the base unit 23 can be raised and lowered inside the vehicle.
