Definitions

  • the invention relates to a floor pan of a vehicle, in particular an armored military vehicle, with a lateral bottom wall, which is connected via a connection point with a second bottom wall.
  • the lower end of the vehicle trough can be formed by the floor pan, in particular with a V-shaped or U-shaped cross section. It can also be arranged under the vehicle trough an additional floor pan.
  • Each wall of this floor pan can be considered as a bottom wall, so that the floor pan with a V-shaped cross-section two lateral bottom walls and in a U-shaped cross section comprises two lateral bottom walls and a lower bottom wall.
  • the connection of the bottom walls takes place in particular by welding.
  • the vehicle trough and / or the floor pan often consists of armor steel plates, so that in particular in the region of the side walls of the vehicle trough and a ballistic protection is given.
  • the DE 101 34 394 B4 describes a U-shaped bottom pan, in which the lower bottom wall designed as a bottom plate is welded to side bottom walls.
  • a flange plate is arranged for receiving a Tragarmlagergephaseuses, which has recesses through which the bottom plate can reach through.
  • the flange plate is firmly installed in the vehicle due to its supporting function and welded to the side bottom wall.
  • In the area of the lower bottom wall it also has an end region which overlaps the connection point and which in turn is welded to the lower bottom wall.
  • a disadvantage of the known design of the floor pan that at an obliquely coming from below blast tearing of the lower bottom wall in the welded areas is possible because there is usually a structural change due to the heat generated during welding heat.
  • EP 1 566 607 A1 represents the closest prior art and discloses a floor pan of a vehicle having a side bottom wall connected via a junction to a second bottom wall, and an auxiliary protection module having an auxiliary armor disposed on the side bottom wall, the auxiliary armor for mine protection on the side bottom wall is releasably secured and wherein the additional armor covers the adjacent to the side bottom wall second bottom wall and the intermediate connection point at least partially.
  • the invention has the object, the bottom tray of a vehicle taking into account the vehicle transport ability better against Blastein für Maxien too protect.
  • an additional armor for mine protection in particular an armor plate, releasably secured to a side bottom wall of the bottom pan, which at least partially covers the adjoining the side bottom wall second bottom wall and the intermediate connection point.
  • the second floor wall may represent a lower floor wall or another lateral floor wall of the floor pan.
  • the additional armor can be achieved via fasteners.
  • the additional armor may have a bore through which a screw is guided, which can be screwed into a arranged on the side bottom wall threaded stud.
  • An advantage of an additional armor detachably attached to the side bottom wall is that it can be retrofitted to older vehicles, and is detachable for reasons of weight reduction, for example when transporting the vehicle in trains or aircraft, so that maximum permissible weights and loading dimensions are maintained can.
  • the junctions between the side bottom wall and the second bottom wall constitute a weak point of the bottom trough during a blast action, for example during a mine explosion.
  • the additional armor is designed such that the connection point and a part of the adjoining second bottom wall are at least partially covered by it.
  • the additional armor is not connected to the second bottom wall, in particular a lower bottom wall.
  • a weld between additional armor and second bottom wall should be avoided.
  • no screwing the additional armor should be done with the second bottom wall, so that the lower bottom wall, which is naturally most exposed to a mine explosion effect, as homogeneous and uneven as possible designed.
  • the lateral bottom wall is at an angle to the second bottom wall.
  • the additional armor can be designed bent or angled in the region of the junction.
  • the additional armor runs in the region of the lateral bottom wall parallel to the lateral bottom wall, and in the region of the second bottom wall parallel to the second bottom wall.
  • the lateral bottom wall may be welded to the second bottom wall, in which case the additional armor covers the weld at least partially, in particular completely.
  • An increased protection is further achieved in that between the lateral bottom wall and the additional armor an additional protective layer or more additional protective layers are arranged, which are in particular firmly bonded to the additional armor.
  • the additional armor thus forms an additional side protection module with the additional protective layer, which is fastened as a component in case of need to the vehicle.
  • Such a multi-layer mine protection device which can also be used in the present invention is described, for example, in US Pat DE 197 34 950 C2 disclosed.
  • the side additional protection module can in this case be designed such that the additional protective layer does not cover the connection point, at least in partial areas.
  • the additional protective layer serves, in particular, to protect the lateral bottom wall, so that it is sufficient for the protection of the connection point if only the outer auxiliary armor covers the connection point like a clamp.
  • an intermediate bottom wall spaced from the bottom wall is arranged in the bottom trough.
  • This can represent the vehicle interior floor. The spacing results in a decoupling of the vehicle interior floor from the tub floor, so that an improved mine protection is given.
  • An increased protection can be further achieved by the fact that on the second, in particular lower, bottom wall also a second, in particular lower, additional protection module is arranged, which may be constructed in particular multi-layered.
  • the second additional protection module is releasably attached to the second bottom wall, preferably screwed to maintain the modularity of the additional protection.
  • the second bottom wall and the additional protection module can be extended in the region of the fastening forming a projection beyond the connection point between the second bottom wall and the first, lateral bottom wall this advantage lies.
  • the attachment of the second additional protection module on the second bottom wall thus takes place in this projection and therefore in a non-critical area.
  • the additional armor of the lateral bottom wall has a recess through which the projection of the second bottom wall and the additional protection module can extend.
  • the attachment of the additional armor on the lateral bottom wall is effected by a screw connection, since this makes it possible to quickly and detach the additional armor to the vehicle floor pan.
  • the screw connection may in this case include a damping element, for example an elastic ring or a bellows sleeve, in particular of metal.
  • an additional armor is arranged on two opposite lateral bottom walls of the vehicle floor pan, which are connected to each other via at least one extending over the lower bottom wall bracket.
  • Such mine guard can be constructed by extending the end portions of the lower bottom wall covering additional armor to each other and then connected together, resulting in one or more closed strap and the protective capability is increased.
  • An additional armor according to the invention for a floor pan of a vehicle in particular an armored military vehicle, is thus constructed such that it is provided with a fastening means for attachment to a side bottom wall of the floor pan, through which a junction between a side bottom wall and a second adjacent thereto Bottom wall is at least partially coverable.
  • the attachment means of the additional armor represents a bore through which a screw can be passed.
  • an additional protection module is releasably secured to a lower bottom wall, in particular screwed, wherein the lower bottom wall and the additional protection module in the attachment a projection extending beyond the junction between lower bottom wall and side bottom wall are extended with the attachment point in this Projection is located.
  • the second bottom wall, in particular the lower tank bottom can be kept as tight as possible.
  • an additional armor for mine protection in particular an armor plate, is releasably secured to the side bottom wall, which has a recess through which the projection extends therethrough.
  • the lower additional protection module is preferably multi-layered.
  • the Fig. 1 shows a floor pan with a U-shaped cross section of armor steel panels of a vehicle with two opposite side bottom walls 1 and welded to these walls via joints 9 lower bottom wall 5.
  • the vehicle has an intermediate bottom 17 which is spaced from the bottom pan bottom 5 and is decoupled.
  • additional protection modules 2 are releasably secured for mine protection, which are sandwiched and consist of an armor plate formed as additional armor 4 and an additional protective layer 3 between the side bottom wall 1 and additional armor 4.
  • the lateral additional protection modules 2 are according to Fig. 2 detachably connected via several screw 14 with the side bottom walls 1.
  • threaded studs 16 are welded to the lateral bottom walls 1 from the outside (see partial sectional area B in FIG Fig. 1 ), in which screws 14 can engage through corresponding recesses as fastening means 20 of the lateral additional protection modules.
  • an elastic ring 15 is inserted as a damping element to provide a damped connection point. If a weld 9 ruptures due to a transmitted shock effect of a mine blast, the high-impact plates are held by these damped connection points and can not penetrate the interior floor.
  • the damping elements 15 could also be formed as thin-walled metal sleeves, which are brought together under shock by buckling and thus achieve a damping effect.
  • the solid slugs 16 are welded to the walls 1, so that in the event that the welds 9 of the soil structure ruptures by a shock effect, a holding effect occurs, which prevents the torn floor panel can penetrate upwards in the direction of the staff room.
  • the lower bottom wall 5 is also provided with a lower additional protection module 6.
  • This second, lower additional protection module 6 has essentially the same structure as the first, lateral additional protection modules 2. It consists of an armor plate 8 and an arranged between the armor plate 8 and the lower bottom wall 5 additional protective layer. 7
  • the additional armor 4 is in each case designed such that it is attached to the side bottom wall 1, but also configured is that they the junctions 9 and the adjacent second, ie lower, bottom wall 5 at least partially covered.
  • the additional armor 4, which runs essentially parallel to the lateral bottom wall 1, has for this purpose a curved region 11, to which an end region 10 adjoins, which runs parallel to the lower bottom wall 5.
  • the additionally screwed protection modules 2, 6 can thus also reduce loads on the welded joints 9 of the tub structure. In a pure welded construction, the adjacent component would also be automatically involved in the deformation of a component via the weld, with a risk of failure of the weld is given.
  • the additional armor 4 is not welded or screwed to the second bottom wall 5 or the second additional protection module 6.
  • the bottom plate 5 can be kept as clear as possible.
  • the lower additional protection module 6 is releasably secured in a special way with the lower bottom wall 5.
  • the lower bottom wall 5 and the lower additional protection module 6 have corresponding projections 19, which can be used as fastening straps.
  • the projections 19 are outside the actual protection area, ie they do not lie in the area between the opposite lateral floor walls 1, but are shifted to the outside.
  • the attachment points of the lower additional protection module 6 on the lower bottom wall 5 are now in the range of these projections 19, for this purpose according to the Fig. 3 a bore through the lower bottom wall 5 and the layers 7 and 8 is guided, through which a co-operating with a nut 13 screw 12 is feasible.
  • fastening projections 19 also has the advantage that in the central region of the lower bottom wall 5, no restriction of ground clearance by fasteners, such as screw heads, occurs and there no spikes must be welded.
  • the lateral additional protection modules 2 have in the region of the projections 19 a corresponding recess 18 through which the mounting ears 19 extend therethrough.
  • the Fig. 4 shows a military vehicle without drive components, which has a closed vehicle trough 21 with side walls 26 and a bottom 24 for receiving soldiers or equipment.
  • An additional floor pan 22 is arranged below the vehicle trough 21 made of armored steel, the floor trough 22 being connected to the vehicle trough 21 via damping elements 23.
  • the floor pan 21 has two lateral bottom walls 1 and a bottom bottom wall 5, which according to the Fig. 1 to 3 equipped with lateral additional protection modules 2 and a lower additional protection module 6.
  • the invention is not limited to the additional arrangement of the floor pan below the vehicle trough.
  • the lower end of the vehicle pan 24 can be understood, consisting of bottom wall 24 and bottom side wall 25th
  • the invention can be used in an analogous manner even with V-shaped bottom trays.
