Definitions

  • the invention relates to a carrying device for a baby or toddler, with a closable hip belt, at least two arranged on the hip belt shoulder straps and an attached between shoulder straps and connected to the hip belt cloth panel, which defines a seat and back support area for the baby or toddler, according to claim 1.
  • Both baby carriers and infant carriers which are tailored to the particular needs of babies or toddlers, are known in the art. That is, there are carrying devices that are suitable for carrying babies, wherein the term baby or infant is a child in the first year of life is called. Thus, a baby carrier is used for the first 12 months of life, and such baby carriers can not be used after the first year of life because of body size and weight because these baby carriers are then too small. After completion of the first year of life is spoken of the so-called toddler age, for which special carrying devices are constructed. Accordingly, it is often necessary to purchase another baby carrier after completion of the infant phase. From the prior art, the EP1707082A1 and the GB2260687A considered useful for understanding the invention. For this reason, for example, carrying devices are known which provide relative adjustment options with regard to the back length of a carrying device for a baby or toddler. For this purpose, adjustments are usually made to different webbings.
  • the invention is based on the object to provide a particularly easily adaptable carrying device for a baby or toddler.
  • a baby or toddler carrying device is provided with a closeable hip belt, at least two shoulder straps disposed on the hip belt, and a fabric panel extending between the shoulder straps and connected to the hip belt, the cloth panel defining a seat and back support region for the baby or toddler.
