Description

The invention relates to a carrying device for a baby or toddler, with a closable hip belt, at least two arranged on the hip belt shoulder straps and an attached between shoulder straps and connected to the hip belt cloth panel, which defines a seat and back support area for the baby or toddler, according to claim 1.

Both baby carriers and infant carriers, which are tailored to the particular needs of babies or toddlers, are known in the art. The described object, with regard to the easily adaptable carrying device for a baby or toddler, is achieved by a carrying device according to claim 1.

Thus, a baby or toddler carrying device is provided with a closeable hip belt, at least two shoulder straps disposed on the hip belt, and a fabric panel extending between the shoulder straps and connected to the hip belt, the cloth panel defining a seat and back support region for the baby or toddler. Accordingly, the carrying device comprises at least one hip belt, which is placed around the hip of the wearer and is closed during the wearing of a baby or toddler. According to the invention, the connection region of the fabric panel is arranged within an openable hip belt pocket. The connection region is therefore the region of the fabric panel which defines the region which is connected or connectable to the hip belt.

The openable hip belt pocket is therefore a pocket-like receptacle, which is designed to be openable and preferably also closable. The waist belt pocket may form a portion of the waist belt.
