Description

Carrying device for babies or small children
Technical Field
The invention relates to a carrying device for infants or small children, having a closable waist belt, at least two shoulder straps arranged on the waist belt, and a textile panel extending between the shoulder straps and joined to the waist belt, which defines a seat area and a backrest area for the infant or small child.
Background
Carriers for infants and carriers for small children are known in the art, which are customized to the specific requirements of the infant or small child. That is, there are already carrying devices suitable for carrying babies, wherein the term "baby" or "young child" refers to a child within the age of the first week. Therefore, the carrying device is intended for infants or young children of the first 12 months of age, and after the first week of age, such infant carrying devices cannot be used anymore due to the height and weight, because the carrying aid is too small. After the end of the first week of age, one considers constructing a special carrying device for the child stage. Thus, after the end of the baby stage, it is often necessary to purchase additional carrying means for the child.
Thus, for example, carriers are known which are relatively adjustable in terms of the length of the back of the carrier for babies or small children. For this reason, different straps must often be adjusted.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the invention is based on the object of providing a carrying device for infants or small children which is particularly easy to adapt.
In the case of a carrier for babies or small children which is particularly easy to adjust, the object is achieved by a carrier according to the invention.
Accordingly, a carrying device for infants or small children is provided with a closable waist belt, at least two shoulder straps arranged on the waist belt, and a fabric panel extending between the shoulder straps and joined to the waist belt, wherein the fabric panel defines a seat area and a backrest area for the infant or small child. Thus, the carrying device comprises at least one waist belt which is placed and closed around the hips of the carrier when carrying the infant or the child. Furthermore, at least two shoulder straps are arranged on the waist belt, which shoulder straps are placed around the shoulders of the carrier in order to optimally distribute the weight to be carried over the shoulders, the area of the chest and the back area of the carrying person.
The two shoulder straps may be connected by another strap by means of a plug-in connection. The further strap may for example comprise a chest strap or a back strap. Depending on whether the infant or child is placed on the carrier's abdomen or back. In addition, a fabric panel attached to the waist belt extends between the shoulder straps of the carrier. The fabric panel defines at least a seat area and a back area for an infant or child. The seat area comprises an area of the fabric panel that is adapted to the body structure of the infant or child, in particular the hip structure of the infant or child. The back area includes the area of the fabric panel to support the back and the area to support the nape of the child.
In accordance with the present invention, the joined regions of the fabric panels are disposed within an openable waistband pocket. The joining area thus comprises the following areas of the fabric panel: the region defines an area that is attached or attachable to the waistband.
The openable waistband pocket comprises a pocket-type receptacle which is formed to be openable and preferably also closable. The waistband pocket may form part of a waistband. Furthermore, it is also conceivable that the waistband extends through the waistband pocket. The pocket is preferably formed to be permanently closed on the lower side, i.e. on the side facing away from the child or baby to be carried. That is, the opening of the belt pocket is in turn formed on the side or edge of the belt pocket facing the infant or child to be carried. In case the waistband pocket forms part of a waistband, for example, the waistband pocket may be attached to the waistband, in particular may be sewn to the waistband. In the case of a waistband extending through a waistband pocket, it is for example conceivable to provide lifting straps with further elements on both sides, or to provide elements such as padded textile elements on both sides of the waistband, which elements form the waistband pocket.
The attachment area of the fabric panel preferably has, or comprises, a tubular portion through which the portion of the waistband within the waistband pocket extends, or through which a strap separately disposed within the waistband pocket extends. In other words, the joined area of material is formed to be tubular at least in sections, wherein a band extends through the tubular section. The strap may comprise the portion of the belt that is located in the belt pocket or a strap separately disposed in the belt pocket.
In one embodiment of the invention, the waist belt pocket may be formed of an additional padding material, which correspondingly improves the wearing comfort of the infant or child carrier in the hip region. Furthermore, additional straps may be incorporated or fitted in or on the waistband pockets to correspondingly reinforce the waistband pockets.
The width of the fabric panel, preferably the width of the attachment area of the fabric panel on the portion of the waistband located within the waistband pocket or on a separately disposed belt, is preferably adjustable. In other words, the width of the fabric panel in the attachment area of the fabric panel may be adjusted, wherein the adjustment may be made at that part of the waistband or a separately arranged strap that is located within the pocket of the waistband.
The adjustment of the width of the fabric panel is performed by pushing (pushing) or pulling away the tubular part width-variably via the belt or the part of the separately arranged belt located inside the belt pocket. In other words, the fabric panel may be adapted to the height of an infant or child, wherein the width of the fabric panel is adjusted by pulling away or pushing towards the panel. Since the fabric panel is guided in a tubular manner around a belt, which may comprise a part of a waist belt or a separately arranged belt, the tubular portion of the fabric panel representing the joining area of the fabric panel may be pushed or pulled away via the belt.
In other words, the tubular portion may be pushed or pulled along the portion of the waistband within the pocket of the waistband or along a separately disposed strap. The required adjustment of the width of the fabric panel can thus be made for different babies or small children.
The two outer ends of the joining region of the fabric panel preferably have fixing means, in particular snap elements for progressive fixing or Velcro or the like for continuous fixing, which interact with complementary fixing means on the belt or that part of the separately arranged belt which is located in the pocket of the belt, in order to make width adjustments to the fabric panel. The two outer ends of the joined area of the fabric panel comprise the two outer ends of the tubular part of the fabric panel, i.e. the area close to the opening of the tubular part. The two outer ends of the joining region or the two outer ends of the tubular portion have fixing means, wherein these fixing means are formed in a complementary manner to the fixing means positioned on that part of the waistband which is located within the pocket of the waistband or on a separately arranged belt.
The securing means of the fabric panel may comprise, for example, snap elements such as, for example, snap recesses enabling the fabric panel to be progressively secured to the waistband pocket. Furthermore, Velcro fasteners can also be used as fastening means which can be fastened continuously. The fastening means, which are complementary to the snap elements or the Velcro fastening, are thus positioned on that part of the waistband which is located inside the pocket of the waistband or on a separately arranged strap.
It is conceivable to provide at least two, in particular three, four, five, in particular preferably six snap fastener elements arranged at a distance from one another on each side with respect to the center of that part of the waistband which is arranged within the waistband pocket or the center of the separately arranged belt. A back panel with a complementary number of snap fastener elements can be adjusted six times by arranging or forming at least six snap fastener elements on each side, i.e. by forming a total of 12 snap fastener elements. In other words, the fabric panel may have six different width adjustments. The invention also encompasses embodiments comprising a snap head on the fabric panel and a corresponding snap recess on the waistband pocket, in particular on the waistband and/or on the separate strap therein.
The adjustment or width adjustment of the fabric panel is performed by corresponding fixing in the interior of or within the waistband pocket. The waistband pockets are preferably formed to be closable. The closing of the belt pocket can be carried out, for example, by means of Velcro and/or by means of snap fasteners and/or by means of hook-and-eye connections and/or by means of zippers.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least two zippers are provided on the upper side of the waistband pockets. The upper side of the belt pocket comprises the side of the belt pocket having the opening, i.e. the side of the belt pocket pointing in the direction of the buttocks or the baby or child. The two zippers are preferably formed at both outer ends of the upper side of the waistband pocket. It can be set as follows: no zip fastener is arranged in the area of the fabric panel or in the joining area of the fabric panel and the waistband pocket, so that, for example, a corresponding wear of the fabric panel due to grinding at the zip fastener is avoided.
It is theoretically conceivable that the belt pocket is large enough to accommodate infant items, such as milk containers, urine pads, etc. In other words, the waistband pocket has a size that allows it to be used to additionally receive infant items.
Furthermore, it is also possible to secure a newborn insert (insert) into a belt pocket. The neonate insert is used to support or provide additional support to the neonate's body. Neonates broadly refer to infants within the first four weeks of age. The newborn insert is accordingly adapted to the height and weight of the newborn, so that infants, in particular newborns, as well as children can be carried with the carrier device according to the invention, since the width adjustment of the fabric panel can be carried out in an openable belt pocket, into which the newborn insert can also be fixed. To the extent that a newborn insert for carrying an infant with a carrier is not required (no longer needed), the newborn insert may be stored in a belt pocket, particularly rolled up for storage.

The invention will be described below on the basis of exemplary embodiments, which are explained on the basis of the drawings. In the drawings:
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a carrying device for infants or small children with an open waist pocket according to the present invention;
FIGS. 2a, 2b show schematic views of various embodiments of a waist belt pocket; and
figure 3 shows a schematic cross-sectional view to illustrate the arrangement of the joining area of the fabric panel around the belt.
Detailed Description
In the following description, the same reference numerals are used for the same parts and parts having the same effects.
Fig. 1 shows a carrying device for infants or small children according to the invention with a closable waist belt 10. Two separate segments of the waist belt 10 are schematically shown, which are connected or closed to each other via a clasp (not shown), thereby forming a closable waist belt 10. The carrying device according to the invention furthermore has at least two shoulder straps (not shown) arranged on the waist belt 10. A fabric panel 11 attached to the waist belt 10 extends between the shoulder straps.
The fabric panel defines a seat area and a backrest area for an infant or child to be carried, of which only the seat area 12 is shown in fig. 1. The seat area 12 is preferably formed with the following shape in the hip area of an infant or a small child: for example, so that an outward-directed bulge is formed so that the buttocks of the infant are lower than the knees thereof. Such a bulge is particularly advantageous when carrying a neonate.
The fabric panel furthermore has a joining region 13, wherein said joining region 13 of the fabric panel is arranged in accordance with the invention in an openable waistband pocket 14.
The waistband pockets 14 may form part of the waistband 10. In addition, the waistband 10 may also extend through the waistband pockets 14. For various embodiments of the waistband pockets, reference is made to fig. 2a and 2 b.
A tubular portion 15 is enclosed in the joining region 13 of the fabric panel 11, through which tubular portion 15 the part of the belt 10 located in the belt pocket 14 extends in the example shown, or for example, alternatively, a strap separately arranged within the belt pocket 14 extends through the tubular portion 15.
The width B of the fabric panel 11 may be adjusted at that portion of the belt 10 or separately disposed belt that is within the belt pocket 14. Adjustment of the width B of the fabric panel 11 is made by width-variable pushing or pulling the tubular portion 15 in or out through that portion of the belt 10 or a separately disposed strap (not shown in fig. 1) that is located within the belt pocket 14. The two outer ends 16 of the joining area 13 of the fabric panel 11 (which also denotes the two outer ends 16 of the tubular portion 15 of the fabric panel 11) are provided with fixing means, in this embodiment snap recesses 17 for progressive fixing, wherein the fixing means, i.e. snap recesses, on the outer ends 16 interact with complementary fixing means, i.e. snap heads 18, which are arranged on that part of the waistband 10 which is located within the waistband pocket 14 in order to adjust the width B of the fabric panel 11.
On each side of the centre M of that part of the belt 10 or a separately arranged strap (not shown) which is arranged inside the belt pocket 14, at least two, in this embodiment six snap elements or snap fixing means, i.e. snap heads 18, are provided which are arranged at a distance a from each other. The distance a of the snap head portions 18 from one another corresponds to the distance c of the snap recesses 17 which are in each case located on the outer end 16 of the joining region 13 of the fabric panel 11. In the present exemplary embodiment, two snap elements or snap fastening means, i.e. snap recesses 17, are formed on each outer end 16, respectively, so that the forces acting on the outer end of the joining area 13 can be distributed evenly, and in addition, two snap recesses 17 arranged adjacent to each other provide a double fastening means.
After adjusting the width B of the fabric panel 11 by variably pushing or pulling the tubular portion 15 in width via that portion of the belt 10 which is located within the belt pocket 14, the fixing of the joining region 13 of the fabric panel 11 within the opened belt pocket 14 can be performed by snap fastening once the required fabric panel width B is reached.
For the continuous fixing of the joining region of the fabric panel, the two outer ends of the joining region 16 can have, for example, Velcro (Velcro) fastenings which interact with complementary fixing means, i.e. nonwoven materials, on the belt or on separately arranged straps in the pockets of the belt.
In this embodiment, the waistband pocket 14 is formed by a folded fabric opening 20, the folded fabric opening 20 being padded and forming the opening 19. The padding material element 20 ensures additional padding in the belt region and accordingly ensures the wearing comfort of the carrier. The downwardly folded fabric element layers are secured to one another, and in particular are stitched to one another, at the outer ends 21 of the spacer fabric element 20. The waistband 10 may also be secured, particularly sewn, within the waistband pocket 14.
The waistband pocket 14 is preferably formed to be closable. For this purpose, at least two zippers 23 are provided on the upper side 22 of the waistband pocket 14. The zipper 23 preferably extends from the outer end 21 of the spacer textile element 20 up to the textile panel 11. The center M of the waistband 10 or the width B of the fabric panel 11 is preferably not zipped closed as this may result in corresponding damage to the fabric panel 11.
The belt pocket 14 is preferably of a sufficiently large size so that infant items such as milk containers, diapers, and the like can be stored in the belt pocket.
The newborn insert 24 can furthermore be fixed in the belt pocket 14. The neonatal insert 24 serves as additional support for the small neonate's body so that the neonatal insert 24 can be rolled up for storage in the belt pocket 14 without use or adaptation to the height of the infant. In order to ensure that the neonate is adequately retained by means of the neonate insert 24, the neonate insert 24 is secured at least to the spacer textile element 20, preferably to a reinforcing strap. This can be done by means of Velcro, snaps or hook and eye fastening elements.
Figures 2a and 2b show various possible embodiments relating to a waist belt pocket and a waist belt.
Fig. 2a shows two belt portions 10a and 10b, namely a left hand belt portion 10a and a right hand belt portion 10 b. The belt pocket 14 is connected to the left hand belt portion 10a and the right hand belt portion 10 b. The waistband pockets 14 are preferably sewn and/or glued to the waistband portions 10a and 10 b. A separate strap 25 is disposed within the waistband pocket 14 as shown. The separately disposed strap 25 may be sewn and/or glued to the waistband pocket 14.
In fig. 2b, the waistband pocket 14 forms part of the waistband 10, wherein the waistband 10 extends through the waistband pocket 14.
It is theoretically conceivable that at least part of the belt 10 and furthermore at least one further separately arranged belt 25 are located in the belt pocket 14.
Fig. 3 shows a tubular portion 15 of the fabric panel 11 in a schematic cross-sectional view, wherein, to form the tubular portion 15, the joining region 13 of the fabric panel 11 is guided or wound around the belt 10, such that, with the end 26 of the fabric panel 11 connected or secured to the wound fabric panel 11, the tubular portion 15 is formed, the portion of the belt 10 located within the belt pocket 14 extending through said tubular portion 15. The snap head 18 arranged on the fabric panel 11 and the snap recess 17 formed in a complementary manner thereto can also be clearly seen, said snap recess 17 being located or formed on the waist belt 10.
It should be noted here that all the above-mentioned parts in the context of the embodiment according to fig. 1-3 relate to the invention (either alone or in any combination), especially as regards the details shown in the drawings. Modifications thereof will be apparent to those skilled in the art.
