Procédé servant à équiper un mécanisme de levage de grue mobile (10) avec des fixations d'équipement de mécanisme de levage auxiliaire (16, 24, 26), qu: sont associées au châssis (14) du mécanisme de levage auxiliaire et qui servent à la fixation du mécanisme de levage auxiliaire au niveau de la grue, dans le cadre duquel le mécanisme de levage auxiliaire (10) ou son châssis de mécanisme de levage auxiliaire (10) et/ou les fixations d'équipement (16, 24, 26) sont déplacées dans la position d'équipement par translation dans une direction verticale, dans lequel le procédé est effectué par un mécanisme d'équipement (32, 40) prévu en plus du système de levage de contrepoids de la grue mobile, installé au niveau du mécanisme de levage auxiliaire, lequel amène le châssis de mécanisme de levage auxiliaire (10) et/ou les fixations d'équipement (16, 24, 26) dans la position d'équipement, caractérisé en ce que lors de la procédure d'équipement, un système d'équipement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, 10 ou 11 ou une installation d'équipement selon la revendication 8 ou 9 sont utilisés ou mis en oeuvre.
