Definitions

  • the invention relates to a head with a mouth and mouth jaw having wrench.
  • a generic wrench is from the DE 20 2004 003 399 U1 described.
  • the head of the wrench has on a broad side the shape of an open-end wrench.
  • On the other broad side of the head has a three flanks forming angular recess for receiving a corner of a polygonal profile.
  • the diametrically opposite corner region of the polygonal profile is supported on a rounded flank of the head. This broadside allows a ratchet-like use of the wrench.
  • the US 4,889,020 describes a similar shaped spanner, in which the jaws are also designed so that the wrench can be used ratchet-like.
  • the US 6,112,625 describes an open ring spanner, which can be placed radially on a threaded shaft, in order to then be placed in the axial direction on a polygonal profile can.
  • the DE 297 08 596 U1 describes a wrench with V-shaped mutually extending toothed jaws, so that this pair of jaws can be applied to corner areas of polygonal profiles of different key widths.
  • stop balls which lie for the axial retention of the inner opening against an end face portion of the polygonal profile of the screw head.
  • a socket for plugging onto a screw head having the shape of a hexagonal profile.
  • the inner profile of this also called nut screwing tool has two superposed profile planes in the axial direction.
  • the adjacent profile plane of the opening has a twelve-fold symmetry and a total of twelve angular recesses, which correspond to the total of six hexagonal corners of the hexagonal profile of the screw head. If a screw head is inserted into the screw opening, then every second angular recess is filled with a hexagonal corner.
  • the second profile plane which lies away from the opening, has only a sixfold symmetry, namely the inner contour of a hexagon. This hexagon profile is formed by elongated angular recesses.
  • a similar jaw arrangement but on a ring spanner, describes the EP 1003 627 B1 in which, depending on the angular position of the hexagonal profile of the screw head is either in a stop position or can be inserted through the jaw opening therethrough.
  • the US 7,340,983 B2 describes a ratchet wrench with an internal polygonal profile, which consists of two adjacent in the axial direction different profile sections.
  • a first profile section has a twelve-fold symmetry.
  • Another is a six-fold symmetry, so that in a first angular position a nut abuts against stops and in a second angular position, the nut can be pushed through the key opening.
  • the invention has for its object to expand the range of applications of a generic wrench.
  • the mouth opening as an open-end wrench opening for torque-transmitting attack on the polygonal profile has two opposing mouth jaws, which extend over only one broad side over the corner regions of the multi-jaw assembly.
  • the mouth jaws are designed as parallel jaws and can be based on a hexagonal profile. But they can also be sections of a twelve-edged profile, which is offset from the multi-jaw profile.
  • the mouth opening has a width that corresponds to the key size of the hexagonal profile, ie the distance between the two parallel jaws.
  • a novel jaw-ring key is given. If the parallel jaws are used as Drehmomenteinbringzonen, the tool can be used as a known open-end wrench. However, it is also possible, the wrench in an angular position rotated by 30 ° in the axial direction on the screw head or the nut.
  • the screw head finds a radially tied up receptacle in the mouth.
  • the angular recesses are formed by a total of three flanks, with two flanks forming torque introduction zones which are at an angle of 120 ° to one another.
  • the third flank which performs the stop function, is at right angles to these two flanks.
  • the third flank is formed from the back of a steel plate is formed. It is preferably a steel plate made of a hardened steel.
  • the material hardness of the steel plate is greater than the material hardness of the steel body, which forms the head of the key.
  • the hardness of the steel plate may be 50 HRC or more. It can be between 50 and 60 HRC.
  • the steel hardness of the steel body is preferably in the range between 35 and 49 HRC.
  • the steel plate simultaneously forms the parallel jaws and is firmly connected to the broad side of a arranged at the end of a drive arm head having a mouth opening.
  • the parallel jaws go to form a 120 ° angle in the back of the mouth, so in an area of the mouth opposite the opening, in other jaws, which also in a torque-transmitting system to the hexagonal surfaces of Screw head can occur.
  • These two other jaws are also assigned Eckaussparitch locally. In this case, the torque-transmitting flanks of these corner recesses are aligned with the torque-transmitting flanks of the parallel jaws locally associated angle jaws.
  • the screw head is in a first angular position with four corner regions in a total of four angular recesses and is not only rotationally fixed, but also firmly held in the mouth in the radial direction and in an axial direction.
  • the second opposite the first rotated by 30 ° angular position are four hexagonal surfaces corresponding to them jaws, which are formed by the steel plate.
  • the connection of the steel plate to the steel base body can be positive, positive or cohesive, so in particular by gluing, welding, pinning or screwing done.
  • the connection to the steel base body is chosen such that the steel plate can be replaced.
  • the latter preferably extends in its width over half the material thickness of the steel body.
  • the wrench according to the invention thus has two in the axial direction relative to the direction of rotation of the nut or the screw directly adjacent Torque injection zones, one of which is based on a twelve-ring open key profile and the other on an open-end wrench profile.
  • a 24-edge profile can also be used as a basis.
  • the two Drehmomenteinbringzonen lie one above the other in the axial direction, that in the Drehmomenteinbringzone, which is made on the basis of an (open) Zwökkantprofiles (or a 24-edge profile) of a ring wrench used nut abuts with two diametrically opposite corner regions of the end face of attacks ,
  • the nut inserted in this torque introduction zone is thus tied up in the radial direction and in the axial direction. If the nut or the screw head is inserted into the torque insertion zone equipped on the basis of an open-end wrench profile, then the key can be placed on the hexagonal profile of the screw head or the nut in the radial direction and also in the axial direction.
  • the introduction of the torque then takes place essentially over the steel plate. Since she is hardened, the key of the key does not bend.
  • the jaw portions of the other Drehmomenteinbringzone can also rest in this operating position to transmit torque to the polygonal surfaces of the hexagonal profile.
  • the opposite sides of the mouth flanks of the steel plate can taper at an angle of 120 ° V-shaped.
  • These two, V-shaped converging cheeks can be pre-offset in the direction of the mouth opening, so that the back of the steel plate in the region of these rear jaws forms an abutment against which two complete edge portions of the end face of the screw head can strike.
  • the two parallel jaws associated flanks of the multi-jaw assembly of the steel body pass into arc sections.
  • the mouth jaws can also be sections of a twelve-edged profile.
  • the mutually parallel, the mouth opening ausferenden Baking is then interrupted by twelve-sided jaw sections.
  • the multi-jaw assembly based on a 24-edge profile, so that the twelve-sided jaws form attacks.
  • Such a trained key can be used as open-end wrench, as a ring key with stop and as a ring key without stop.
  • the tool shown in the drawings consists of a steel base body, which has a head 1 and a drive unit 2 connected to the same material.
  • the drive arm 2 is shown only partially for purposes of illustration.
  • One of the two broad sides of the consisting of a flat material head 1 is provided with a profiled steel plate 12.
  • the steel body can be forged from a steel having a hardness of 39 to 49 HRC
  • the steel plate 12 is a hardened plate.
  • the profile opening may e.g. be generated by punching or spaces.
  • the steel plate shown in the drawings has a running on a circular arc outline contour and is located in a broad side recess of the head 1 a. But the steel plate can also have a different outline contour, for example, to be positively secured against rotation. It is conceivable to connect the steel plate with screws to the steel base body, to weld or bond the steel plate 12 to the steel base body.
  • the recess 3 of the steel plate 12 has the shape of a partial section of an equilateral hexagon, wherein the distance between two opposing marginal edges 7 defines the key dimension of the tool.
