Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method according to claim 1 and an adapter according to claim 12.
  • pallets of any kind are suitable as a transport underlay, since these can be moved in a simple manner by means of forklifts, even if the pallets are already provided with the cargo objects.
  • the cylindrical cargo objects which typically have a significantly smaller diameter than their length and thus are not suitable for a "standing" transport, lying horizontally and usually stacked in multiple layers, the number of juxtaposed in a location cargo objects of the lowest position decreases to the uppermost position. This is necessary because the roller-shaped load objects of an upper layer are arranged in the interstices of an underlying layer, so that they are respectively supported on two load objects of the underlying layer.
  • the lowermost layer comprises three cargo objects arranged next to one another
  • the second layer above it has only two cargo objects and the top third layer has only one cargo object.
  • stacks with a triangular or trapezoidal cross-section are formed, the latter when the upper layer has more than one charge article.
  • traction means in the form of stable tension ropes or bands of metal or fabric reinforced plastic are used, which are stretched around the triangular cross section of the stacked cargo objects including the transport pad and supported on the outer surfaces of the outer cargo objects.
  • the bottom layer should first be fixed with a kind of wedge, which can serve as a wedge of wood or plastic.
  • a wedge cardboard strips can also be used, which are provided for example with a corresponding to the cargo objects bulge.
  • a pallet for storing and transporting cylindrical bodies which are positioned side by side on the pallet so that their longitudinal axes are in alignment.
  • the latter has at its center a recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the pallet.
  • the bodies are fixed by traction means, which are braced starting from the core of the cylindrical body with the pallet.
  • the storage of vertically stacked cylindrical bodies is not possible by means of the known range.
  • traction means act on one end side of the cargo objects and at least each cargo object arranged on one edge of a layer is connected on one end side in a force-transmitting manner to a traction means.
  • connection of the cargo objects with a traction device which engages on its front side is particularly advantageous in terms of handling, since the traction means can attach very comfortable and without risk by unintentionally laterally rolling cargo objects.
  • the charge articles of an upper layer lie in the interstices of a lower layer, resulting in forces which force the cargo articles of the respectively lower layer apart , ie forces that are directed horizontally outward.
  • these forces are compensated for by providing the package formed by the stacked articles of cargo at its periphery with a circulating traction means which holds the cargo articles in position.
  • the only way to obtain in this case sufficiently large forces, which are directed against the horizontally outwardly directed forces, consists in an inclined course of the traction means, whereby the cross-section of the transport unit typically triangular or trapezoidal geometry arises.
  • the traction means according to the invention in each case act on end faces of cargo objects. In this way, it is easily possible to provide the transport unit with traction means, which derive the resulting forces in the interior of the transport unit, whereby the forces that press apart the roller-shaped cargo objects, can be better counteracted.
  • the orientation of the traction means is not considered dependent on the geometry of the transport unit in its cross section and the traction means can thus be mounted much more effectively.
  • the traction means each act on a central region of the front side of the cargo objects, which often corresponds to the center of gravity of the cross section of the cargo objects.
  • the point of the traction means is selected such that a rotation of the individual cargo objects - in contrast to a fastening of the traction means, for example, at an outer point of the end face - due to the tensile force of the traction means can not be done.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the central regions of the cargo objects connected to the traction means are each connected to a position with a separate traction means.
  • the inventive type of traction means is flexible for any combination of cargo objects conceivable. Accordingly, a pulling means connecting the cargo objects of a layer can also be inclined with respect to the horizontal.
  • the attachment of the respective separate traction means a position of the transport unit is particularly advantageous in terms of handling, since the individual traction means can be very comfortable and in turn attach without risk by unintentionally laterally rolling cargo objects.
  • each charge object arranged on one edge of a layer is in each case fastened on both of its opposite end faces, in particular in the central areas, in force-transmitting manner is connected to a traction means, creates a very stably held together transport unit. Looking at the cargo objects in their longitudinal direction, namely, they are fixed both on their first and on their second end face.
  • a particular embodiment of the transport unit according to the invention provides that the load objects are wraps of a web-shaped material, in particular of film or paper, and that the wraps each have a particular sleeve-shaped winding core, wherein end sections of each winding core form the central regions or the central regions are formed by adapters, which are inserted into sleeve-shaped end portions of the hubs or attached to the end portions of the hubs and are each connected non-positively and / or positively with the hubs.
  • the components already present on the cargo objects are used for attaching the traction means.
  • winding cores made of cardboard or plastic.
  • adapters designed especially for the attachment of the traction means are also possible.
  • the transport unit according to the invention allows a design of the traction means as ropes, wires, bands, beams or rods, which - viewed in their longitudinal direction - may be flexible or rigid.
  • the strength considered in the longitudinal direction must at least allow safe transmission of the tensile forces occurring.
  • the traction means viewed in their longitudinal direction - at a plurality of points by means of a closure with the cargo objects , in particular with its winding cores or connected to these adapters, releasably connectable design.
  • the traction means can be connected by insertion into the closure in a direction perpendicular to the central axis with the respective article of charge.
  • the traction means is provided on at least one side at least partially with a toothing, with a movable pawl the closure can be brought into positive engagement.
  • the respective orientation of the teeth is provided such that a displacement of the traction means in the closure in one direction is possible, but not in the opposite direction.
  • the adapter, the closure and designed as a resilient tongue pawl are formed as a plastic injection molded part.
  • the adapter consists of a sleeve-shaped plug-in portion which projects radially outwardly projecting on its outer surface with radially outwardly extending, in the direction of the central axis of the Einsteckabitess webs and on its inner circumferential surface with radially inwardly projecting in the direction of the central axis Insertion section extending reinforcing ribs is provided, and a radially over the outer circumferential surface of the Einsteckabêts protruding and frontally connected thereto flange portion having a closure in the form of a guide channel for insertion of the traction means, wherein a wall portion of the guide channel is formed as a resilient tongue.
  • Such an adapter allows a quick and easy connection with the corresponding traction means
  • the outer diameter of the flange section corresponds at most to the outer diameter of the winding core, it is ensured that the adapter does not protrude into the area of the winding, so that no damage to the web-forming material forming the winding can occur during the attachment of the adapter.
  • the invention further relates to an adapter for insertion into or attaching to a sleeve-shaped end portion of a winding core, wherein a frictional and / or positive connection between the adapter and the winding core is formed.
  • This is inventively provided with a device for attachment of a traction device and can be used in particular to form a transport unit described above.
  • the adapter consists - as already described above - of a sleeve-shaped insertion portion with radially outwardly projecting webs, radially inwardly projecting reinforcing ribs and a flange portion having a closure in the form of a guide channel for insertion of the traction means, wherein a wall portion of the guide channel as resilient Tongue is formed.
  • the Figures 1 and 2 show a transport unit 1 according to the invention once as a side view of one of the end faces 2 thereof and once as a three-dimensional view, wherein the representation of a pallet-shaped pad was omitted.
  • the transport unit 1 according to the invention is formed from three layers 3 each of three charge objects 4 arranged parallel to one another.
  • the charge objects 4 are windings 5 of a sheet-like film, which is wound onto a sleeve-shaped winding core 6 made of cardboard.
  • the diameter of a coil 5 is typically between 30 cm and 60 cm and the length is about 4.00 m.
  • a transport unit 1 with nine cargo objects 4 is formed.
  • the transport unit 1 according to the invention summarizes 50% more material than a known transport unit with almost unchanged transport volume.
  • each adapter 7 In the openings of the hubs 6 each adapter 7 are inserted, which are positively and positively connected to the winding cores 6. On their side facing away from the opening, the adapters 7 each have a closure 8 which has a guide channel 9 (see FIG FIG. 10 ) for inserting a pulling means 10.
  • the adapters 7 form central regions 11 on the end faces 2 of the cargo objects 4, in which the cargo objects 4 are connected in a force-transmitting manner to the traction means 10.
  • the cargo objects 4 of a layer 3 are each connected to a separate, horizontally extending traction device 10, so that the cargo objects 4 of a layer 3 are connected to form a layer.
  • a "rolling apart" of the cargo objects 4 is no longer possible, and it is also sufficient according to the invention, when only the outer cargo objects 4 are connected to the traction means 10.
  • the non-positive connection between the adapters 7 and the traction means 10 from the FIGS. 3 and 4 show that a section through the transport unit 1 in the region of an end face 2 thereof or an enlarged view of an adapter 7 in the winding core 6 also in section.
  • the adapter 7 which is made as a whole as a plastic injection molded part, is also composed of a sleeve-shaped insertion portion 12, a radially above the lateral surface of the Einsteckabitess 12 projecting and frontally connected thereto flange portion 13 and the aforementioned closure 8.
  • the sleeve-shaped insertion portion 12 has six inner reinforcing ribs 14, three of which are visible in the figure. These run along the inner circumferential surface of the Einsteckabitess 12, wherein they project radially inwardly and extend parallel to the central axis 15 of the Einsteckabites 12.
  • the insertion portion 12 At its outer circumferential surface of the insertion portion 12 has webs 16 which are also parallel to the central axis 15 of the Einsteckabitess 12 and project radially outwardly. In this case, the height of the radially outwardly projecting webs 12, starting from the flange portion 13 toward the opposite end of the Einsteckabitess 12 down slightly. As a result, a force and positive connection between the adapter 7 and the winding core 6 is achieved in a particularly simple manner, wherein in particular the more projecting regions of the webs 16 press into the cardboard of the winding core 6.
  • the closure 8 of the adapter 7 is formed by the aforesaid guide channel 9, wherein a wall portion 17 of the guide channel 9 facing away from the insertion region 12 is designed as a resilient tongue 18 which is provided with a toothing 19 over part of its length.
  • the traction means which is connected in a force-transmitting manner with the cargo objects 4, has on one of its longitudinal sides of the teeth 19 of the tongue 18 corresponding toothing 20, so that an insertion of the traction means 10 in the direction shown by the arrow 21 due to the orientation of the Teeth 19, 20 and the fact that the tongue is designed as a resilient tongue 18 is possible, but not in the opposite direction.
  • Such closures are known for example from so-called cable ties.
  • the traction means 10 is pushed from one side through the three guide channels 9 of the adapter 7 of the adjacent cargo objects 4, wherein a displacement of the traction means 10 is possible only in the direction of the arrow 21.
  • the traction means 10 is conical, so that the introduction thereof into a guide channel 9 is simplified.
  • the opposite end 23 of the traction means 10 has a stop 24 (see FIG. 5 ), which is formed by a jump in cross section of the traction means 10. The stop 24 ensures that the traction means 10 does not slide completely through the guide channels 9 and thus would be ineffective.
  • the exact formation of the cross-sectionally rectangular traction device 10 is the FIGS. 5 to 8 refer to.
  • the traction means 10 in the form of a rigid rod 25 has a rectangular cross section with two short and two long sides, wherein the long side corresponds approximately to the width B of the guide channel 9 or slightly below this and the short side approximately the height H of the guide channel 9 corresponds or slightly less.
  • the cross section of the traction means 10 is not constant over its length L, but the width of the long sides of the rectangular cross section changes in such a way that two wave-shaped side surfaces 26 result.
  • the rod 25 is provided on a majority of one of its broad side surfaces with the aforementioned toothing 20, which in FIG. 8 is shown in detail.
  • the stop 24 forming fork-shaped end 23 of the traction means 10 can be seen well.
  • the actual stop 24 is formed by a jump in the cross section, but only affects the broad sides of the cross section of the rod 25.
  • the rod 25 consists of two parallel legs 27 which extend parallel to the central axis 28 of the rod 25 and which are separated by a recess 29 from each other. This creates the impression of a two-pronged fork.
  • the rod 25 is provided with a recess 30, which has the shape of an inverted T. Starting from the crossbar of the T, the width of the recess 30 decreases, so that the stem of the T takes the form of an elongated triangle.
  • the recess 30 and the recess 29 between the legs 27 are separated by a connecting web 31 from each other.
  • the equipment of the end 23 of the rod 25 with the recess 30 and the recess 29 allows, after severing or removal of the connecting web 31, the end 23 of the rod 25 manually compressed such that serving as a stop 24 widened cross-section is reduced such that the rod 25 can be pulled out of the closures 8 of the adapter 7.
  • the connection of the traction means 10 with the adapters 7 is easily solvable without having to be manipulated on the resilient tongues 18.
  • the end 23 of the rod 25 may also be formed in such a way - for example, by means of a conditionally flexible connecting web - that the connection between the traction means 10 and adapters 7 can be canceled without destruction.
  • FIGS. 9 to 11 the adapter 7 is shown in different views.
