Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage pour des éléments d'ameublement, notamment des chaises ou des tables, destiné à marquer ceux-ci respectivement avec au moins un numéro de place lorsqu'ils sont disposés en ligne et comprenant une unité d'affichage qui peut être montée sur l'élément d'ameublement. Selon l'invention, l'unité d'affichage est conçue pour représenter différents caractères et présente à cet effet un circuit intégré qui peut être commandé par une unité de commande munie d'une interface infrarouge et l'interface infrarouge présente au moins un récepteur d'infrarouges pour l'échange de données. Toujours selon l'invention, un obturateur de canal qui traverse l'élément d'ameublement le long d'une ligne d'alignement et qui fait office de guide pour orienter le rayonnement infrarouge peut être raccordé au récepteur d'infrarouges.
