Definitions

  • the subject invention relates to a sifting bar for papermaking plants, which is formed on its side facing the wire belt with a wear strip, which has a plurality of juxtaposed over the longitudinal extent and at least two layers of adjacent plates of a ceramic material, which are connected to each other by gluing , contains.
  • Paper production systems are formed with at least one screen belt, which is movable along the system, wherein at the beginning of the system on the screen belt, a pulp is applied. Over a first range of movement of the screen belt, the liquid contained in the pulp, in particular water, is discharged. Over more areas of the movement of the screen belt, the paper material located thereon is dried, where it is lifted off the screen belt in the sequence and further processed or processed. In this case, the screen belt is guided over Siebleisten, which serve on the one hand to support the screen belt and on the other serve to strip from the underside of the screen belt emerging from the pulp liquid or exert on the pulp suction. Such Siebleisten are interchangeable arranged in the frame-fixed system to replace them at any time by a new sieve.
  • Known screen belts are made of a wire mesh made of a plastic material. Due to the hardness of this material, further due to the speed of about 30m / sec, with which the screen belt is moved over the Siebleisten and finally due to the aggressiveness of emerging from the pulp liquids which are supported by the Siebbel Siebleisten subject to very high wear, so they on the side facing the wire belt must be formed with a wear-resistant coating.
  • Known Siebleisten which z. B. are made of a glass fiber reinforced plastic material, this is on its side facing the wire belt over its entire length with plates of a ceramic material, in particular of aluminum oxide coated, through which a wear strip is formed.
  • These known plates have z. B. a corresponding width of the screen strip width, a double width corresponding length and a thickness of about 5 mm to 8 mm.
  • Such plates made of a ceramic material which are produced in a sintering process, on the one hand in their production are very expensive. On the other hand, they can be processed only with great effort, which is also a high cost conditional.
  • the ceramic material used for their preparation is very brittle, these plates are subject to their use for the coating of sheeting a major threat of breakage or jumps, which must therefore be avoided, as moved through the thereby forming edges over them Screen belt is damaged. Damage to the plates by fractures thereof may be caused because the surfaces of the plates are greatly heated due to the screen belt moving thereover, and since the plates made of a ceramic material have a very low thermal conductivity, therefore large thermal stresses occur in such plates.
  • a wear strip which consists of a plurality of their longitudinal direction next to each other and two layers of adjacent plates of a ceramic material, wherein the plates are glued together. Since only two layers of ceramic plates are provided in this known wear strip, however, these must have a relatively large thickness, which is why such wear strips notwithstanding that they are formed in two layers, very large thermal stresses can occur. In addition, such wear strips have a very large brittleness or a very low elasticity, whereby they are very vulnerable to breakage.
  • the subject invention is therefore based on the object to provide a sieve, by which the above-mentioned disadvantages are avoided.
  • Such a design of the wear strip causes substantially lower thermal stresses on the one hand due to the considerably lower thicknesses of the individual plates stacked against one another compared to conventional plates of a ceramic material.
  • such a layered wear strip is much more elastic due to the adhesive layers located between the at least three layers, as is the case for known wear strips, which is why the risk of damage to such a layered wear strip by jumps or fractures is substantially less than in previously known wear strips the case is.
  • the plates of the adjacent layers are formed with mutually associated projections or recesses, whereby they are mechanically locked together. Furthermore, preferably the butt joints of the plates located in adjacent layers are offset from one another. According to a first preferred embodiment, the plates of the wear strip are approximately in the plane of the screen belt.
  • the wear strip can be connected to the sieve strip by gluing.
  • the sieve strip may be formed with a clamping device for fastening the wear strip, which preferably consists in that the sieve strip is formed on its associated with the wire belt surface with a stop bar and with a releasably secured terminal strip, the wear strip between the stop bar and the terminal block clamped is.
  • the wear strip can be fastened to the sieve strip by the sieve strip facing the sieve belt Side is formed over its length with a groove or with a bar and that the wear strip is formed on the side facing the screen bar with a counter-strip or a groove, wherein the respective bar is inserted into the groove.
  • the wear strip may have a rectangular or a trapezoidal cross-section.
  • the wear strip on the one hand in cross-section rectangular plates and on the other hand contain trapezoidal plates in cross-section, preferably being trapezoidal in cross-section plates on at least one of the two outer surfaces.
  • the plates arranged in the individual layers may be made of ceramic materials having different hardnesses.
  • the directly to the screen belt for reaching plates or the first in the direction of movement of the wire belt plates of the wear strip can be made of a very hard ceramic material, whereas the other plates can be made of less hard and thus somewhat less brittle ceramic materials ,
  • FIG. 1 is a z. B. made of glass fiber reinforced plastic screen strip 1 shown, which is provided on its the wire belt of a papermaking plant associated page with a wear strip 2, which consists of a plurality of stacked plates 21 made of a ceramic material. The plates 21 are attached to the surface of the sill 1 and to each other by means of adhesive layers 3.
  • the wear strip 2 is formed by three layers of plates 21, wherein the plates 21 are offset from each other directly adjacent layers.
  • the plates 21 on the one hand have a very small thickness of about 0.5 mm to 1 mm or up to a maximum of 3 mm and on the other hand between the plates 21, the adhesive layers 3, a screen 1 is created, the wear strip 2 with respect to known wear strips , which have only a single layer of much thicker plates, much more elastic and thus much less vulnerable to breakage, which is far less often damaged than is true for previously known wear strips.
  • the wear strip 2 has a much greater elasticity than this is the case for known wear strips, which consist of individual, substantially thicker, side-by-side plates of a ceramic material.
  • the sieve 1 according to FIG. 1 is formed on its side facing away from the plates 21 over its entire length with an undercut groove 11, by means of which they can be releasably secured to a provided in the paper-making system support bar, whereby they can be replaced at any time by a new sieve.
  • the sieve strip 1a according to FIG. 2 differs from the sill 1 according to FIG. 1 only in that it is formed on its side facing away from the plates 21 over its entire length with a base 12 undercut on both sides, whereby it can be inserted into an associated groove of a support bar and thus fastened to this.
  • the sieve strip 1a according to FIG.3 differs from the sill 1a according to FIG.2 in that the individual plates 21 a of the wear strip 2 a are formed in their central region on their upper side with a groove 22 and on their underside respectively with one of the groove 22, protruding strip 23, wherein the strips 23 in the grooves 22 of each projecting plates 21a underneath.
  • the Siebance 1a is also formed on its upper side with a groove 13, in which protrude the strips 23 of the adjacent plates 21a.
  • the sieve strip 1b according to FIG.4 differs from the embodiments according to the FIG.1 to FIG.3 in that the plates 21 and 21b of the wear strip 2b have different cross-sections such that the uppermost plates 21b have a trapezoidal cross-section transverse to the longitudinal extent of the wear strip 2b, whereby the thickness of the plates 21b decreases in the direction of movement of the sieve belt, whereas the other plates 21 have the same cross section over their entire surface.
  • This sieve strip 1b is also formed with a fastening groove 11.
  • FIG.5 illustrated second embodiment of a sieve strip 1c according to the invention differs from the first embodiment of a sieve strip according to the FIG.1 to FIG.4 in that the surfaces of the plates 21c of the wear strip 2c are not arranged approximately parallel to the screen belt, but rather are oriented transversely to the screen belt so that it comes to rest against the side surfaces of the plates 21c.
  • the plates 21c are interconnected by means of adhesive layers 3 located between them.
  • the attachment of this wear strip 2c on the sieve 1c takes place in that the sieve strip 1c is formed on its upper side facing the sieve belt with an undercut groove 14, in which a projecting from the wear strip 2c bar 24 protrudes.
  • the sieve strip 1c is designed to be fastened to a support strip with a base 12 which is undercut on both sides.
  • the sieve strip 1c is formed on its side associated with the wire belt with a stop bar 14 and is further provided on the grate 1c releasably secured terminal strip 15, wherein the wear strip 2d between the stop bar 14 and the terminal block 15 is clamped.
  • the wear strip 2d can be removed in a very simple manner from the sieve strip 1c and replaced by a new wear strip 2d.
  • the wear strip 2d differs from the wear strip 2c according to FIG.5 in that it is formed by cross-sectionally trapezoidal, outer plates 21d and by at least one layer of plates 21d located between the plates 21d, which are rectangular in cross-section. Also, the plates 21 and 21 d are connected to each other by means of adhesive layers 3.
  • the embodiment according to FIG.8 differs from the embodiments according to the FIG.6 and FIG.7 in that the screen strip 1d, which is formed with a groove 11, with a stop bar 14 and with a clamping strip 15, is provided with a wear strip 2e, which consists of several layers of plates 21c glued together, which have all rectangular cross sections.
  • FIG.5 to FIG.8 illustrated second embodiment of a filter strip according to the invention on the one hand ensures the advantages of the first embodiment, namely a reduced brittleness of the wear strip, whereby the risk of damage to the same is reduced. Since the individual plates of the wear strip are offset in the longitudinal direction of the bar against each other, they have on the other hand on the voltage applied to the screen belt surface in the direction of movement of the screen belt continuous butt joints, whereby the sieve strip has the same effect over its entire length.
  • the individual plates 21, 21a, 21b and 21c may be made of silicon carbide or alumina, zirconia or silicon nitride.
  • Silicon carbide is the hardest and most brittle ceramic material.
  • Aluminum oxide is a little less hard or brittle, and zirconia and silicon nitride are a little less hard and brittle than aluminum oxide.
  • the individual layers of the wear strip can be made of different ceramic materials. Preferably, the coming to the screen belt plates or those plates on which the sieve belt runs, made of a very hard ceramic material, whereas the underlying plates or in the direction of movement of the wire belt plates from a slightly less hard ceramic material are made. As a result, the wear strip has a very high wear resistance and also a high elasticity.
