Definitions
- the invention relates to a rapier for a rapier with a thread clamp for clamping at least one weft thread, and a method for guiding and holding a weft thread in a Bringergreifer according to the preamble of claim 8 and a loom with such Bringergreifer and for carrying out such a method.
- rapier weaving the weft thread is registered by means of a fixed to a rod or a flexible belt rapier in a shed and taken over at a transfer point in the middle part of the shed by a gripper rapier and forwarded.
- the bringer rapier has the task to capture the presented weft thread, enter it into the shed and deliver it precisely to the gripper.
- a rapier which contains a thread guide formed therein and a thread clamp, is for example in the publication EP 0 441 099 A1 disclosed.
- the rapier grippers are moved at high speed during weft insertion. From this high speed, the Bregergreifer must be braked so that the weft thread can be taken over at the transfer point by the gripper rapier. Due to the inertia of the weft thread, it may happen that the weft thread continues to move at the transfer point, so that the piece of thread to be taken over by the gripper gripper leaves its intended position and the gripper rapier does not leave the weft thread can take. To reduce such weft defects, a controlled yarn brake can be provided on the entry side in the area of the yarn feeding devices, which brakes the leading weft yarn.
- the object of the invention is to provide a rapier for a rapier loom and a method for guiding and holding a weft thread in a Bringergreifer available, which prevent a pre-run of the weft thread at the transfer point, and which make it possible to guide the weft such that he can be safely taken over by a gripper grab.
- the inventive rapier for a rapier loom comprises a thread clamp for clamping at least one weft thread.
- the bringer rapier comprises a guiding and / or holding device for guiding and / or holding the weft thread with a guiding and / or holding element and a mass, wherein the guiding and / or holding element by means of inertial forces, which in accelerating or decelerating the Bregergreifers act on the mass, taxable and / or movable.
- the guiding and / or holding element and / or the mass are arranged movably on the rapier.
- the thread clamp and the guiding and / or holding element are arranged at a distance from one another, so that the weft thread can be guided and / or held on both sides of the gripper rapier during the transfer to a gripper rapier.
- the rapier comprises two side walls, wherein the thread clamp is arranged in the vicinity of the one side wall and the guiding and / or holding element in the vicinity of the second side wall.
- the guide and / or holding element is resiliently mounted or mounted or connected to a spring element and the mass arranged on the guide and / or holding element, and in an additional preferred embodiment, the guiding and / or holding element designed as a movably mounted pawl, wherein the mass may be part of the pawl, so that it is movable by the inertia of their own mass.
- the guiding and / or holding element is designed and arranged such that the weft thread can be held by the same in a notch formed in the rapier, in particular in an upper part of the rapier.
- the invention comprises a method for guiding and holding a weft thread in a Bringergreifer in which the weft thread is received by the Bringergreifer and clamped by a thread clamp in the same, wherein the weft thread in the Bringergreifer additionally guided by a guide and / or holding device and / or held, which is controlled and / or moved by the inertia of a mass.
- the guide and / or holding device is closed by the inertia of the mass before reaching the transfer point, so that the weft thread extends upon reaching the transfer point between thread clamp and guiding and / or holding device, and extending between thread clamp and guiding and / or holding device extending weft thread taken over by a gripper rapier.
- the invention comprises a rapier loom with a Bringergreifer according to one of the embodiments described above and / or equipped for carrying out a method according to the above description.
- the inventive rapier and the inventive method for guiding and holding a weft thread in a Bringergreifer have the advantage that thanks to the additional, controllable by inertial forces guiding and / or holding device in the yarn transfer from the rapier to the gripper rapier high reliability can be achieved.
- This is particularly important for fast weft insertion, for example, at 350 rounds / min or 500 rounds / min. and higher. If a pre-run of the weft thread occurs, this happens outside the thread transfer area, so that the pre-run hardly occurs disturbing in the yarn transfer. Thanks to the additional guiding and / or holding device, the weft thread at the yarn transfer must be braked at most minimally, so that most weft threads can be entered without controlled thread brake.
- weft thread can be fixed more firmly in the slave clamp, as is ensured by the holder of the weft thread on both sides of the slave clamp, the necessary thread tension on both sides. Another advantage is that the risk is low that the weft thread is overstretched when hanging on the gripper rapier, since the ground voltage can be kept low.
- Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a Bringergreifers according to the present invention together with a gripper rapier 2 in an oblique view.
- the weft insertion direction is in Fig. 1 marked with an arrow 12.
- the gripper rapier 1 comprises a thread clamp 4 for clamping at least one weft thread and additionally a guiding and / or holding device 10 for guiding and / or holding the weft thread with a guiding and / or holding element 5 and a mass 6, wherein the guide - And / or holding element 5 by means of inertial forces, which act on an acceleration or deceleration of the rapier 1 on the mass 6, taxable and / or is movable.
- the guiding and / or holding element 5 and / or the mass 6 are arranged movably on the rapier.
- the design and operation of the guiding and / or holding device 10 is in connection with the description of FIGS. 2A . 2 B and 3A . 3B discussed in more detail.
- the bringer rapier 1 comprise further parts, for example, as in Fig. 1 shown, two Side walls 1a, 1b and, if necessary, a top 9.
- the top can, as shown, be provided with a notch 8, in which the weft thread can be inserted to guide this during the entry.
- the guide and / or holding member 5 may be secured to the upper part 9, for example by means of a fastening element 7, which may be designed, for example, as a screw.
- the thread clamp 4 and the guiding and / or holding element 5 are spaced apart from each other, so that the weft thread is guided or held on the transfer of the gripper rapier 2 on both sides of the gripper rapier.
- the rapier 1 comprises two side walls 1a, 1b, the thread clamp can be arranged for example in the vicinity of the one side wall and the guiding and / or holding element in the vicinity of the second side wall.
- Fig. 2A shows an enlarged oblique view of the same embodiment with inserted weft thread and open guide and / or holding device.
- the rapier 1 comprises a thread clamp 4 and additionally a guiding and / or holding device 10, which is arranged at a distance from the thread clamp.
- the guide and / or holding device 10 includes in this embodiment, a guide and / or holding element 5, which is resilient, for example in an advantageous embodiment as a bending spring, which is attached at one end to the rapier, for example with a fastener 7 at one Upper part 9 of the rapier.
- the other end of the guiding and / or holding element 5 or the bending spring is free and in the in Fig.
- the guiding and / or holding device 10 includes a mass 6. This may for example consist of the mass of the spring element 5, or if this is too light, from an additional mass which is arranged on the spring element.
- a particular advantage of this embodiment is that the free end of the guiding and / or holding element 5 can be moved without friction.
- the in Fig. 2B shown Bringergreifer differs from the in Fig. 2A shown only by the position of the guide and / or holding element 5.
- the free end of the formed as a bending spring guide and / or holding element 5 is in Fig. 2B is deflected in the direction of a notch 8 arranged laterally in the rapier 1, so that the free end closes the notch, for example by the guiding and / or holding element 5 touching one side of the notch or projecting beyond the one side.
- An inserted into the notch weft thread 3 is thus included, even if the running outside of the bringer rapier thread piece, as in Fig. 2B indicated by a forward loop, precedes the Bringergreifer.
- the guide and / or holding element 5 thus forms together with the notch 8 a guide eye.
- the guide and / or holding element 5 z. B. also be formed as part of a thread clamp.
- Fig. 3A shows an oblique view of a second embodiment with inserted weft and opened guide and / or holding device.
- the Bringergreifer 1 comprises a thread clamp 4 and in addition a guide and / or holding device 10, which is arranged at a distance from the thread clamp.
- the guide and / or holding device 10 includes in this embodiment, a movably mounted pawl 5, which is for example mounted pivotably about a bearing element 5a. Further, a stop 5b may be provided to limit the rotational movement when opening the pawl.
- the pawl shown comprises a closing part, which in the in Fig.
- the pawl 5 has its own mass, which is sufficient to overcome the bearing friction, so that the pawl during acceleration and deceleration of the rapier is movable by the force acting on the mass inertial forces.
- the pawl may additionally be connected to a spring element, for example to keep the pawl 5 open during slow movements of the rapier.
- the in Fig. 3B shown Bringergreifer differs from the in Fig. 3A shown only by the position of the pawl 5.
- the pawl shown comprises a closing part, which in Fig. 2B is pivoted in the direction of a notch 8 arranged laterally in the rapier 1, so that the closing part closes off the notch, for example by touching one side of the notch or protruding beyond the one side. An inserted into the notch weft thread 3 is thus included, even if the running outside the bringer thread piece of thread over the bringer rapier precedes.
- the closing part of the pawl 5 forms together with the notch 8 a guide eye.
- the weft thread 3 is received by the bringer rapier 1 and clamped by means of a thread clamp 4 in the same.
- the presented weft thread can be taken, for example, at the beginning of the weft insertion by the Bringergreifer, wherein the weft thread is pulled by the forward movement of the Bringergreifers in the thread clamp and clamped in this.
- the weft thread 3 is additionally guided and / or held in the rapier 1 by means of a guiding and / or holding device 10, which is controlled and / or moved by means of the inertia of a mass 6.
- the rapier 1 is delayed before reaching the transfer point, wherein the guiding and / or holding device 10 is closed by the forces acting on the mass 6 inertial forces, so that the weft thread 3 upon reaching the transfer point, as in Fig. 2B shown between thread clamp 4 and guide and / or holding device 10 extends.
- the weft thread extending between the thread clamp and the guiding and / or holding device is now taken over by a gripper rapier.
- the guiding and / or holding device 10 is designed so that the weft thread can be pulled out with the guide and / or holding device closed. In this way it can be ensured that when taking over the weft thread on both sides of the slave clamp a thread tension is present.
- the inertia-controlled guiding and / or holding device is inevitably open when picking up the weft thread at the beginning of the weft insertion because of the positive acceleration present in this phase. Only with very slow gripper movements, it may be expedient to ensure the opening of the guiding and / or holding device by additional measures, for example by a spring element.
- weft thread at the thread transfer must be braked at most minimally, so that most weft threads can be entered without controlled thread brake, and that the weft thread can be better fixed in the slave clamp, since the weft thread in the acquisition on both sides of the Clamp is held and thus on both sides a tensile stress is present.
