Definitions
- the invention relates to a door opener assembly with a door opener, which includes a pivotable in the door opener pawl with a stop.
- a pivotable in the door opener swivel traps are also called radius traps.
- a stop is fixed, which is designed for engaging behind a latch.
- the stop can be fixed in position or in the transverse direction to the door opener arrangement. If a stationary stop is provided, the trap with the stop is expediently formed in one piece.
- the fence usually runs over the entire trap width from one side of the trap to the other.
- the door opener assembly comprises a strike plate and a lock latch guide for guiding the latch, which extends obliquely inwards into the door opener.
- the lock latch guide is formed on an adapter piece, which is arranged between the door opener and the strike plate.
- the invention relates to an adapter piece for use in door opener arrangements with a door opener and a strike plate.
- Door openers with swivel traps have long been known. Usually engages, in the locked state, a latch in the latch case and is held there by means of a stop. In the released state, the pivot latch is pivotable against a spring force and can release the latch. The release of the pivot latch is done electrically and is triggered by a person, for example via keys, or automatically, for example by access control systems.
- pivoting latch is designed as a radius trap, that is hineinschwenkbar in the door opener, less space is required for pivoting.
- the stop can be adjusted be formed to compensate for inaccuracies in the assembly without having to move the entire door opener assembly.
- door openers have been provided with a latch latch guide which normally extends obliquely inwardly into the door opener from the striker surface.
- the latch strikes after release of the door opener on the lock latch guide and is pressed due to the slope of the lock latch guide against a spring force inside in the door or in the door lock.
- the latch bolt slides along the lock trap guide until it is finally at Zargen conception and then released.
- the known lock latch guides are designed as sliding webs which extend through an opening or a recess in the stop.
- This has the disadvantage that specially shaped stops for the pivoting traps must be made, which are tailored to the shape of the respective sliding bars used. This adversely affects the storage. Furthermore, this makes the retrofitting of existing door opener arrangements consuming, since then often the entire pivot case including stop must be replaced.
- Such a lock trap guide with sliding bar is for example from the DE 102 15 014 A1 and the DE 10 2004 012 112 B3 known.
- the known lock latch guides are often designed as an angled from the strike plate, the door opener inside projecting tongues. This is disadvantageous since specially trained strike plates have to be manufactured and kept for this purpose.
- a closing strip with a door opener is known, in which an adapter piece is arranged between the door opener and closing strip, in which a sliding web is designed to guide a latch. That is, the closing strip assembly is provided in a modular design.
- the door opener, the closing strip and the adapter piece with sliding bar are separate system components that are combined to form the closing strip arrangement.
- the advantage here is that the adapter piece is a separate component and no specially shaped locking plates must be made with sliding bars of various sizes.
- the lock latch guide is designed as a sliding surface which extends continuously over the entire width of the stop. Furthermore, the lock latch guide is arranged on the door side next to the stop of the pivot latch and adjacent thereto.
- the basic idea of the invention is thus to provide the lock latch guide not as a web, but as a uniform, consistent sliding surface or inclined plane which extends at least over the width of the stop of the pivotal latch.
- the lock latch guide does not pass through the stopper, but is adjacent to the stop and adjacent thereto, so that upon pivoting of the pivot latch a bearing of the latch on the lock latch guide, immediately after release of the latch is given.
- the lock latch guide is aligned substantially parallel to the stop running. The lock latch guide adjoins the stop from the door side, that is to say from the side from which the latch bolt is inserted into the door opener.
- the lock latch guide no longer extends into the interior of the door opener, but only adjacent to the stop.
- no special design of the stop formation of recesses or openings in the stop
- the adapter piece can be used together with all common attacks.
- the door opener assembly is more flexible.
- the latch is securely guided on the lock latch guide, so that tilting or hooking is avoided.
- there is a door opener arrangement which is extremely variable in use and can be flexibly adapted to the present installation conditions. In dependency of given installation position, the various system components can be combined.
- the right door opener assembly for the present situation can be readily assembled from the individual components.
- This modular design and compatibility with standard components reduces storage costs and makes door opener assemblies cost-effective for a variety of locks, door profiles, etc. Furthermore, the distance between the latch engagement point and the outer edge of the door opener arrangement is minimized.
- the adapter piece rests on the door opener and is covered on its upper side by the strike plate.
- a latch opening is provided in the strike plate, through which the latch can engage in the pivot latch.
- this trap opening is expediently bordered on all sides by the striking plate, that is to say the opening is formed in such a way that, in relation to the striking plate plane, it adjoins the striking plate on each side.
- the strike plate is formed closed to the outside.
- the lock latch guide is to be arranged so that it bears against both the inner edge and on the pivot latch.
- the latch is designed so that it closes at its upper portion approximately flush with the surface of the strike plate.
- the lock latch thereby slides out of the strike plate or out of the door opener arrangement in a particularly simple manner.
- the lock latch guide is thus essentially in front of the amount of the striking plate thickness of the adapter piece.
- Another advantage of this embodiment is that, in the case of an open to the door side latch opening, the lock latch guide this Can close the opening, so that overall results in a closed design of the door opener assembly.
- the lock latch guide with its upper portion and flush with the underside of the strike plate. It is advantageous that the adapter piece or its lock latch guide can be formed with a relatively large width and can still be used with striking plates with narrower trap openings or with narrower stop widths.
- Another essential feature of the invention is to provide at least one locking latch guide for guiding a locking latch on the adapter piece in addition to the lock latch guide.
- Locking traps are provided as well as lock traps on the door or on the door lock and inserted against a spring force into the interior of the door. Often they are, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the lock latch, arranged directly next to this.
- the purpose of the locking traps is to lock the latch when it engages the pivot latch and engages behind the stop.
- the door opener arrangement is designed such that, when the lock catch is in the engaged position, the locking latch abuts on the adapter piece or on the strike plate such that it has retracted into the door or the door lock. This locks the latch. Now, if the pivot latch is released and the door easily pivots out of the engaged position, the adapter piece is designed such that enough space for the locking latch is available, so that they can be pushed back by the spring force out of the door or the door lock and the latch is thereby released. The latch can then slide along the lock trap guide and from this against the Spring force to be postponed.
- the at least one blocking trap is substantially V-shaped.
- the blocking trap guide is thus designed trough-like and has two inclined sliding surfaces, wherein the door-side sliding surface extends into the door opener and the opposite sliding surface of the door opener out. As a result, a safe sliding of the locking latch in the door opener is further ensured to the blocking position and back out of the door opener out.
- the at least one locking latch guide at one end of the lock latch guide.
- one end is here meant one of the ends of the lock latch guide, which adjoin the lock latch guide in the axial direction.
- a locking latch guide is provided at both ends of the lock latch guide.
- fastening means with which the adapter piece between the strike plate and door opener can be fastened.
- elongated holes are provided on the adapter piece as fastening means. Through the slots through the adapter piece can then be bolted with strike plate and door opener.
- the formation of the fastening means as slots has the advantage that the adapter piece can be used with different strike plates and door openers of different sizes, as the different dimensions can be compensated by the game of slots.
- Positioning means designed as a ratchet, which is provided on the underside of the adapter piece and in corresponding projections, which in turn are formed on the door opener engages.
- the door opener assembly may also include a plurality of adapter pieces, wherein the various adapter pieces are each formed with different dimensions and can be used optionally between the door opener and strike plate. This is particularly advantageous when the door opener assembly with so many different types of door openers and striking plates should be used that an adapter piece can not be adapted for all different embodiments.
- an adapter piece for use for such a door opener arrangement is achieved.
- Fig. 1 shows an exploded perspective view of a door opener assembly 10th
- Fig. 7 also shows a perspective view of the same door opener assembly 10 in the assembled state.
- the door opener assembly 10 is modular and consists of a flat strike plate 11, an adapter piece 12 and a door opener 13.
- the adapter piece 12 is disposed between the door opener 13 and the strike plate 11.
- two screw holes 14 are provided in each case, which lie one above the other in the assembled state of the door opener arrangement, so that screws 15 can be inserted into this, to connect the individual components of the door opener assembly 10 firmly together.
- the striking plate 11 comprises a latch opening 16, through which a latch (see Fig. 4 and 5 and 9 to 11) in the inside, in the door opener 13, pivotable door opener latch 17 can engage.
- the latch opening 16 is, viewed in the closing plate plane, bordered on all sides by the striking plate 11.
- a rectangular latch opening 18 is provided above and below the latch opening 16, through which a door latch or the like. can engage in the door opener assembly 10.
- the bolt openings 18 are formed and arranged symmetrically to each other, so that the strike plate 11 and the entire door opener assembly 10 can be mounted on both sides of the frame left and right.
- the door opener 13 comprises a pivoting latch 17, on which a stop 19 is formed.
- the stopper 19 protrudes upward on the door-side side of the door opener 13 from the pivoting latch 17 and extends over the entire width of the pivoting latch 17.
- the stopper 19 is designed to be continuous, that is to say without recesses, perforations or the like.
- the adapter piece 12 can be placed on the door opener 13 and stored on this.
- the basic shape of the adapter piece 12 is based on an approximately rectangular frame, in the middle of a likewise approximately rectangular opening 121 is provided, which corresponds substantially to the dimensions of the pivotal latch 17.
- the adapter piece 12 is formed for resting on the door opener 13 in such a manner that the underside of the adapter piece 12 rests flush on the door opener 13 and the pivot latch 17 can pivot freely and is free for engagement with a latch.
- a trough 122 is formed, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the adapter piece 12 from one side to the other and at the outer edges of the narrow sides of the adapter piece 12 respectively protrudes slightly from the adapter piece 12.
- the trough 122 closes flush with the adapter piece 12 and protrudes downwards from this.
- a trough 123 which also extends over the entire length of the adapter piece 12, is formed by the trough 122 in the above manner. This web 123 projects slightly upwards beyond the adapter piece 12 and forms the end of the adapter piece 12 at its door-side edge.
- the lock latch guide 20 is provided, which is formed as an obliquely inwardly to the opening 121 extending inclined plane (see FIGS. 3 to 5 ).
- the length of the lock latch guide 20 substantially corresponds to the length of the opening 121 and thus also the length of the pivot latch 17 and the stop 19. It extends from the top point of the web 123 to the lowest point of the trough 122.
- the trough 122 points in the region of the opening 121 on only one side of a slope on which forms a part of the lock latch guide 20, that is to the opening 121, it is open.
- the trough 122 in its end regions, that is to say those regions of the trough 122 which protrude beyond the opening 121 of the adapter piece 12 in the longitudinal direction, the trough 122 has an oblique plane on two sides.
- the one inclined plane is an extension of the lock latch guide 20 and accordingly also runs from top to bottom in the direction of the opening 121.
- This oblique plane opposite is another inclined plane that leads out of the trough 122 (see Figures 3 . 12 and 13 ).
- These regions of the trough 122 each form one Trap latch guide 21.
- the locking latch guides 21 thus each close to one end of the lock latch guide 20, viewed in the longitudinal direction, on.
- Fig. 2 shows an exploded perspective view of another embodiment of a door opener assembly 10, similar to that Fig. 1 is.
- Fig. 8 the same embodiment is shown in the assembled state.
- the strike plate 11 ' is formed as an angle striking plate. Therefore, therefore, from the flat upper part 111 'at the door-side edge, a web 112' protrudes downwards at substantially a right angle from the flat upper part 111 '.
- the web 112 ' is narrower than in its remaining area.
- the lower edge of the web 112 ' is formed continuous and straight over the entire length.
- the distance between the narrowed web region 113 'and the upper part 111' corresponds approximately to the height of the web 123 protruding from the adapter piece 12 on the door side.
- This web 123 is thus designed to rest on the narrower web part 113 'of the striking plate 11' when installed rests and approximately flush with the upper part 111 'of the striking plate 11' closes (see Fig. 8 ). This results in an optically closed design of the angle striking plate 11 '.
