Description

The invention relates to a sectional door according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Sectional doors are used, for example, for closing access openings for industrial halls. In this case, the door leaf of the sectional door is in the closed position substantially in a vertical plane and is transferred during an opening movement along the predetermined path in a horizontal plane, so that the door leaf is arranged in the open position to save space under the hall ceiling. The use of sectional doors due to the production of the corresponding door leaves from a plurality of hingedly interconnected panels has the advantage that the door leaf in the course of the opening or closing movement does not pivot outwards, but along the usually from a closed position defining vertically extending portion , the opening position determining horizontally extending portion and the vertical portion and the horizontal portion interconnecting arcuate portion existing predetermined path can be moved. This is particularly useful in the above-described use of sectional doors to close the entrances to industrial halls having a width of 4 m or more and a height of 4 m or more.

Solche Rolltore sind beispielsweise beschrieben in der DE 841 636 , der DE 556 648 , der DE 38 35 055 A1 und der DE 88 03 220 U1 .Furthermore, for closing of access openings for industrial halls and roller shutters are used, in which the door leaf is wound in the open position behind the fall of the opening to be closed on a suitable drum. Such roller doors are described for example in the DE 841 636 , of the DE 556 648 , of the DE 38 35 055 A1 and the DE 88 03 220 U1 ,

Sektionaltore mit integrierten Schlupftüren sind beispielsweise angegeben in der US 1,989,657 , der US 2,540,810 und der DE 4 410 051 A1 .Although it is generally desirable to separate the driveways from the sidewalks for the access of industrial halls and to provide pedestrians with access doors separated from the sectional doors or roller shutters, this desired condition can not be achieved in some cases for reasons of space. Then it is necessary that the halls can be entered or left by pedestrians through the closed with the sectional door or roller shutter opening. In addition to safety problems, this also entails the disadvantage that the entire sectional door or roller shutter door must be moved in order to enable the access or the leaving of the halls closed with it. For this reason, it has been passed to integrate so-called wicket doors in the door leaves of the above-described sectional doors, which can be opened even with the door closed by the corresponding door leaves pivoted about a pivot axis extending substantially in the direction of gravity from a closed position to an access position become. Such wicket doors are also integrated into the door leaves of the rolling doors described in the above-mentioned documents. Sectional doors with integrated wicket doors are indicated for example in US Pat US 1,989,657 , of the US 2,540,810 and the DE 4 410 051 A1 ,

In the known wicket doors, the door leaf is bordered by a fixed to the panels of the sectional door frame, or hinged thereto, wherein the frame usually comprises two in the door leaf closed position extending substantially in the direction of gravity Zargenholme over a substantially in the horizontal direction extending further spar connected to each other. The height of conventional Sektionaltorpaneele is usually less than 1 m. Therefore, extending in the direction of gravity Zargenholme the known wicket doors usually extend over at least two along the predetermined path one behind the other arranged panels. For this reason, the individual Zargenholme must be divided into a number of along the predetermined path successively arranged segments, each of which is attached to only one panel, because only so a trouble-free opening or closing movement of the door leaf with the integrated therein wicket along the arcuate portion of the predetermined path can be ensured. For the same reason, the door panel of conventional wicket doors consists of a number of along the predetermined path successively arranged door leaf elements, which are interconnected via perpendicular to the predetermined path extending hinge axes joints, the hinge axes of the door elements interconnecting joints co-linear with the joint axes of pass the panels interconnecting joints.

In addition to the field of application just described sectional doors are also used to close the access of simple garages for motor vehicles. The headroom is in many cases less than 2.5 m. Therefore, the arcuate portion of the predetermined path in such sectional doors is usually at a level that the user can still reach with his hands. Consequently, there is a risk that the user engages in the gap formed when passing through the arcuate portion between the successive panels of the door leaf and the fingers jams or squeezes when this gap in the course of the opening or closing movement when using these sectional doors closes again.

To overcome this problem, it has already been proposed to equip the mutually facing edges of successive panels, which run parallel to the axes of articulation, with a special profile, with which it is ensured that even when passing through the arcuate section of the predetermined path no finger-permitting gap between the individual panels is formed. For this purpose, one of these edges may be provided with a convex surface area during this Surface facing edge of the subsequent panel is provided with a concave surface extending portion in which the convex surface portion engages such that between the convex surface portion extending and the concave surface area a gap is formed, the mouth of at least up to one of the user with the Hands still reachable height on the hinge axis facing away from the boundary surface of the door leaf has such a small width that a finger engagement is not possible, preferably 4 mm or less. Such sectional doors are for example in the DE 39 38 021 C2 , of the DE 39 22 981 C2 and the DE 37 26 699 C2 explained.

Other sectional door designs that can reduce finger trap risk are described in US Pat EP 0 304 642 A1 , of the EP 0 856 632 A1 , of the FR 1.310.605 , of the US 5,669,431 and the US 2,372,792 , At this point, it should additionally be noted that in rolling doors special measures to obtain a finger protection effect are not required because gaps between each Rolltorlamellen possibly occur behind the already inaccessible fall, ie where the Rolltorblatt is wound up.

Also used for closing garages for passenger vehicles sectional doors can be equipped with wicket doors of the type described above, so as to allow access to the garage without movement of the complete door leaf. Also in this case is used to hold or border the door leaf of the wicket a fixed to the panels of the door leaf frame, in which the extending in the door leaf closed position in gravity Zargenholme are divided into a number of possibly hingedly interconnected segments of each of which is attached to only one panel, so as to obtain a device for holding and / or enclosing an additional component in the form of a door leaf of a wicket door for a door leaf of a sectional door of the type described above. However, the incorporation of conventional wicket doors into the door leaves of sectional doors intended for closing simple garages has the disadvantage that between the individual slats of the slip sheet attached to the panels of the door leaf, a finger-engaging gap occurs as it passes through the arcuate portion of the predetermined path that in the area of Schlupfturzarge a Fingerquetschgefahr arises.

In view of these problems in the prior art, the object of the present invention is to provide a sectional door with an integrated wicket door in which the risk of finger crushing is eliminated.

According to the invention this object is achieved by a development of the above-described known sectional doors, which is characterized in that at least in the closed position between the individual segments extending in the direction of gravity frame beams of the wicket door at least in the region of a hinge axis facing away from the boundary surface of the door leaf in a parallel to the a predetermined distance of at least the thickness of a finger corresponding distance of preferably at least 10 mm is left free and / or the width of one of the hinge axes facing the boundary surface facing the mouth region of a gap formed between the successive panels segments formed at least along a in the operation of the Gates still allowable with the hands portion of the arcuate portion of the predetermined path less than a finger engagement, preferably less than 10 mm, especially bevo is less than 4 mm.

Accordingly, the risk of finger squeezing in the region of the Zargenholme an intregrierten in the door leaf of a Sektionaltores wicket door according to the first aspect of the invention is eliminated by the fact that a finger engagement in the gap formed between the individual successive panels of the door leaf Zargensegmenten remains possible, in the course an opening or closing movement, however, only such a reduction in the width of this gap, that even in the closed position remains a gap in which a finger can be absorbed without squashing. In this case, this minimum width is guaranteed at least at the usually for a finger-engaging, the hinge axes facing away from boundary surfaces of the door leaf.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are indicated in the dependent claims.

In the Fig. 1 to 3 the transition between two panels 10 and 20 of a sectional door is shown in the region of an articulated pivoting connection with corresponding door leaf elements 110 and 120 of a wicket door integrated in the sectional door. The Sektionaltorpaneele 10 and 20 are pivotally connected to each other by means of a hinge 30 about a hinge axis 32. To ensure a finger trap protection during a movement of a sectional door along an arcuate portion of a predetermined path, the upper edge of the in Fig. 1 Sectional overhead panel 10 shown below is provided with a convex surface area extending from a front side 14 of the panel 10 over a fold 12 and extending upwardly and toward the rear of the panel, which is in the form of a polygon and towards the back of the panel passes over a groove level in the back of the panel, while the in Fig. 1 panel 20 shown above is provided with a concave surface area formed complementary to the convex surface area of the panel 10, extending from the front of this panel via a nose edge 22 towards the rear of the panel 20 and: via a spring stage area received in the groove step area in the back of the panel 20 passes. For further explanation of the edge contours of the panels 10 and 20 is referred to the above DE 39 38 021 C2 directed.

The edges of the panels 10 and 20, which run perpendicular to the hinge axis 32, are covered by frame segments 40 and 50, which overlap these lateral edges. For this purpose, the frame segment 40 comprises a voltage applied to the back of the panel 10 leg 42, a perpendicular to the hinge axis 32 extending leg 44 and resting on the front of the panel 10 leg 46 (see. Fig. 2 ), while the Zargensegment 50 has a voltage applied to the back of the panel 20 leg 52, a perpendicular to the hinge axis 32 extending leg 54 and a voltage applied to the front of the panel 20 legs 56.

How very clear in Fig. 1 and 2 is shown between the lower edge of the Zargensegmentes 50 and the upper edge of the Zargensegmentes 40 on the hinge axis 32 facing away from the front of the panels 10 and 20 a distance x is left free, which is approximately 20 mm in the embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing. A distance corresponding approximately to this distance is also left free in the region of the rear sides of the panels 10 and 20 between the lower edge of the frame segment 50 and the upper edge of the frame segment 40. This prevents it comes with finger engagement in the gap formed between the upper Zargensegment 50 and the lower frame segment 40 finger crushing, because this gap in the in the Fig. 1 and 2 shown Torblatt-closed state in a direction parallel to the predetermined movement path of the door leaf extending direction has a width which is greater than the thickness of a finger, said width at least in the area of offering a finger-engaging front of the door leaf in the course of the arcuate portion of the given orbit still increased.

The clearance left between the frame segments 40 and 50 becomes, as particularly evident in FIG Fig. 1 shown bridged by a bridging segment 60 which is fixed to the lower panel 10. The shape of this bridging element 60 corresponds approximately to the profile of the upper edge of the sectional door panel 10 in a plane perpendicular to the hinge axis 32. In the lower edge of the frame segment 50 secured to the sectional door panel 20, a recess 70 is formed whose edge contour corresponds to the edge contour of the bridging segment 60 and approximately parallel to the contour of the lower edge of the Sektionaltorpaneels 20 extends. In this case, a gap 62 is left free between the bridging segment 60 and the indentation 70.

The door leaf panel 10 is pivotally connected to the door panel member 110 via the frame segment 40 and a cover segment 140 secured to the door panel member 110. Likewise, the Torblattpaneel 20 via the Zargensegment 50 and attached to the door leaf member 120 cover segment 150 is pivotally connected to the door leaf element 120. This connection is made with reference to Fig. 3 explained with reference to the frame segment 50 and the cover segment 150. As shown in this figure, the leg 56 of the frame segment 50 abutting the front of the door panel panel 20 extends from the edge of the door panel panel 20 parallel to the hinge axis 32 toward the door panel member 120 and opens outwardly away from the door panel panel 20 extending and at an angle of 90 ° with the leg 56 enclosing joint leg 58 via which ends at its side facing away from the leg 56 in a thickening 59. This thickening has in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the Zargensegmentes 50 cutting plane on a toothed ring segment-like cross-section.

Likewise, a leg 156 of the cover segment 150 resting against the front of the door leaf element 120 extends from the edge of the door leaf element 120 towards the door leaf panel 20 and extends at a right angle therewith and extending outwardly from the front of the door leaf element 120 Joint leg 158 on which on its side facing away from the leg 156 has a thickening 159. This thickening 159 also has, in a sectional plane running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cover segment 150, a toothed-rim-segment-like cross-section, the tooth-rim-segment-like thickening 159 being the crown segment-like thickening 59 combs. The two thickenings 59 and 159 are overlapped by a bracket 80 and pivotally held together, so that the door leaf member 120 can be pivoted relative to the Torblattpaneel 20 with respect to an approximately perpendicular to the pivot axis 32 extending further pivot axis. Likewise, the frame segment 40 is connected via a bracket 80 'to the covering segment 140 fastened to the door leaf element 110.

How very clear in Fig. 2 also shown, between the lower edge of the cover segment 150 and the upper edge of the cover segment 140, a distance x 'is left free, which is also about 20 mm in the illustrated embodiment of the invention. This distance x 'is bridged by a further bridging segment 160 arranged above the cover segment 140 on the door leaf element 110. In the embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing, a projection 164 is attached to the lower edge of the bridging segment 160, which is received in a corresponding recess on the upper edge of the cover 140 in a form-fitting manner. At its upper edge, this bridging segment has one of the contour of the upper edge of the door leaf element 110 approximately the following edge contour in a perpendicular to a hinge axis 132 of the door leaf element 110 with the door leaf element 120 connecting hinge 130 extending cutting plane and is in the in Fig. 1 and 2 shown closed position of the door leaf in a formed in the lower edge of the cover 150 and approximately the contour of the lower edge of the door leaf element 130 following indentation 170 added. In this case, the contour of the upper edge of the door leaf element 110 corresponds to the contour of the upper edge of the Torblattpaneels 10, while the contour of the lower edge of the Torblattelementes 130 corresponds to the contour of the Torblattpaneels 130. In this way, the risk of finger pinching between the further bridging segment 160 and the lower edge of the cover segment 150 is eliminated.

To ensure a trouble-free pivoting movement of the door leaf elements with respect to the associated Torblattpaneelen using the basis of Fig. 3 illustrated hinged connection, it is necessary that between the legs 44 and 54 of the Zargensegmente and corresponding legs 144 and 154 cover segments in the closed position of the door leaf in the direction of the hinge axes 32 and 132, a distance is left free, so that the individual hinge elements at a Pivoting movement in the space thus formed between the legs 44 and 50 and the legs 144 and 154 can swing into it.

This distance is covered at the front of the panels in the region of the frame segments and the cover segments by the legs 56 and 46 and 156 and 146, respectively. In the region of the rear sides of the panels or door leaf elements, this intermediate space is formed by covering profiles 142a and / or 140 extending from the rear side of the door leaf elements 110 and 120, respectively, 142 and 152 of the cover segments 140 and 150 in the direction of the door leaf panels 10 and 20, respectively 152a covered. To bridge this distance in a direction parallel to the hinge axes 32 and 132 extending direction between the individual Zargensegmenten or Abdecksegmenten the other bridging segment 116 is at its upper edge with a starting from the door leaf element 110 parallel to the door leaf main surface in the closed position of Door leaf in the direction of the Torblattpaneel 10 extending collar fitted, which engages in the closed position of the door leaf in the formed between the bridging segment 60 and the indentation 70 gap 62, so as a wind and moisture-tight transition between the individual frame segments 10 and 20 and individual door leaf elements 110 and 120, while ensuring a satisfactory finger trap protection.

At its lower edge, the collar 160 is provided with a nose 166 pointing outwardly away from the door leaf outside, with the top edge of the hinged connection between the panel consisting of the bracket 80 'and the toothed ring segment-like thickenings received therein in the closed position of the door leaf 40 and the door leaf element 140 is covered.

As in Fig. 4 shown, the door leaf elements 110 and 120 are also provided at their hinged connection with the Torblattpaneelen 10 and 20 facing away edges with Abdecksegmenten 240 and 250, wherein in the Torblattschließstellung also between the lower edge of the cover 250 and the upper edge of the cover segment 240 a Distance x 'of about 20 mm is released. This distance is bridged by another bridging segment 260 fastened to the door leaf element 110, which is received in the door leaf closing position in a recess 270 at the lower edge of the cover segment 250. In this case, the shape of the further bridging segment 260 approximately corresponds to the shape of the bridging segment 60 while the shape of the indentation 270 corresponds approximately to the shape of the indentation 170. Also, between the covering segments 240 and 250 adjacent and fixed to corresponding Torblattpaneelen frame segments 340 and 350, a distance x of 20 mm is left in the direction of the predetermined path, which also distance is bridged by a non-illustrated in the drawing bridging segment.

The cover segments 240 and 250 are in the region of the front side of the door leaf elements 110 and 120 with extending from the door leaf elements 110 and 120 parallel to the door leaf main surfaces in the direction of the adjacent panels extending cover profiles 256 and 266 equipped, which overlap the Zargensegmente 340 and 350 in the closed position of the door leaf. Also, the bridging segment 260 is provided with an overlapping segment 262 extending toward the adjacent door panel panels, which includes a bridging segment provided between the frame segments 340 and 350 in the inferior segment Fig. 5 illustrated closed position of the door leaf overlaps. Overall, a secure finger trap protection is thus ensured in the case of a sectional door in the area of the frame of a wicket door and the cover or the frame of the wicket door.
