Claims (25)
- A printing couple of a rotary printing press with a transfer cylinder (02; 07) with at least one channel (14; 16; 17; 18) for receiving a plurality of printing blankets (09) and a forme cylinder (03; 08) arranged so as to co-operate with the transfer cylinder (02; 07) as a pair of cylinders (01; 06), wherein the barrel of the forme cylinder (03; 08) and of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has a width which corresponds to approximately six vertical newspaper pages, characterized in that the forme cylinder (03; 08) has two channels (12; 13) which are offset by 180° in the peripheral direction and which extend in each case almost over the entire length of the barrel of the forme cylinder (03; 08), bearer rings are provided on the cylinders (02; 03; 07; 08), and the plurality of printing blankets (09) are produced with multiple layers in each case and having a support plate (21) and a layer (22) joined to the support plate (21).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the forme cylinder (03; 08) and the transfer cylinder (02; 07) have the same circumference.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing blankets (09) are arranged with their ends offset with respect to one another in the peripheral direction in different channels (14; 16; 17; 18).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the barrel of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has a circumference which corresponds to at least two horizontal or vertical newspaper pages.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has three printing blankets (09) which are arranged adjacent to one another in the longitudinal direction of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) and which are arranged substantially over the entire periphery in each case.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the region of the external face the channel (14; 16; 17; 18) of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has a gap (29) with a width (b29) in the peripheral direction which is larger than twice the thickness of one of the ends (23; 24) of the printing blanket (09) and less than or equal to 3 mm.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing blankets (09) are arranged with their ends in alignment with one another in the axial direction of the transfer cylinder (02; 07).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the ratio of the circumference of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) to the forme cylinder (03; 08) is an integral number.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the channels (14; 16; 17; 18) of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) rolls on the periphery of the forme cylinder (03; 08) in the vicinity of a channel (12; 13).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the channels (12; 13; 14; 16; 17; 18) are arranged at a uniform distance in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that each channel (14; 16; 17; 18) of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has at least one holding device (26) for the printing blanket (09) in each case.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing formes (11) are arranged with their ends in a channel (12; 13) or at least in alignment along the forme cylinder (03; 08).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the forme cylinder (03; 08) has a plurality of printing formes (11) arranged one behind the other in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the barrel of the forme cylinder (03; 08) has a circumference which corresponds to at least two horizontal or vertical newspaper pages.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the region of the external face the channel (12; 13) of the forme cylinder (03; 08) has a width (b12) in the peripheral direction which is larger than twice the thickness of the printing forme (11) and is in the range of between 1 mm and 5 mm, and in particular less than or equal to 3 mm.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the ratio of the circumference of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) to the forme cylinder (03; 08) is an integral number.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the peripheral direction the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has two channels (14; 16; 17; 18) arranged one behind the other.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the axial direction the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has two channels adjacent to each other, and the channels (14; 16; 17; 18) are arranged one behind the other in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to any one of Claims 1, 19 or 20, characterized in that the channels (12; 13; 14; 16; 17; 18) are arranged at a uniform distance in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 21, characterized in that two channels (12; 13; 14; 16; 17; 18) are arranged offset with respect to each other by approximately 180° in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the channel (12; 13; 14; 16; 17; 18) has at least one holding device (26; 33).
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the transfer cylinder (02; 07) has at least two channels (14; 16; 17; 18) which are arranged offset with respect to each other in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing couple has a counter-impression cylinder which co-operates with the transfer cylinder (02; 07) and which is different from a second transfer cylinder.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printing blankets (09) are arranged with their ends offset with respect to each other in an alternating manner by approximately 180° in the peripheral direction.
- A printing couple according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the region of the external face the channels (14; 16; 17; 18) of the transfer cylinder (02; 07) have a gap (29) with a width (b29) in the peripheral direction of from 1 to 5 mm.
