Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un alliage en aluminium pour moulage-forgeage, qui est constitué essentiellement par 0,6 à 1,8 % en masse de silicium, par 0,6 à 1,8 % en masse de magnésium, au maximum par 0,8 % en masse de cuivre, par 0,2 à 1,0 % en masse de manganèse, au maximum par 0,25 % en masse de chrome, et par 0,0 à 0,15 % en masse de titane et des impuretés inévitables ; ainsi qu'à un article moulé/forgé en aluminium fabriqué par le moulage-forgeage de cet alliage. Lorsqu'il est utilisé comme pièce en aluminium pour automobiles, par exemple comme pièce de suspension, comme bâti ou comme pièce de moteur, cet article possède des propriétés mécaniques, telles que la résistance à la traction, la résistance à la contrainte au seuil conventionnel d'écoulement et l'allongement, qui sont supérieures par rapport à un même article dans l'état actuel de la technique, et il peut en outre être fabriqué à faible coût.
