- the present invention relates to a spacer profile for an insulating disk unit, the spacer frame for mounting within a Isolierusionntician (z. Double glazing) can be formed (e.g., bent) and onto an insulating unit.
- the spacer profile is designed for supporting and separating two window panes.
- the Spacer profile is arranged between two glass panes around the two glass panes to support and separate (keep at a distance).
- the sealed space between the Glass sheets are then typically treated with an inert insulating gas such as e.g. argon filled.
- the window panes can also be coated or finished with a finish, in order to give the insulating unit special functions, e.g. an elevated thermal insulation and / or soundproofing capability.
- Insulating disk units intended to provide high insulation values typically do so designed that the heat transfer properties of the peripheral or edge-like Connection (s), including the spacer frame, are minimized.
- the spacer profile is preferably designed so that the formation of a water condensation even minimized or excluded on the inner surfaces of the window panes when the windows are exposed to low outside temperatures.
- the spacer profile should preferably be even at relatively low temperatures (e.g., at room temperature) can be easily flexed without the structures that the spacer profile define, significantly deform.
- spacer profiles which are produced inexpensively in large quantities while providing good thermal insulation properties, water condensation within the composite insulating unit (double glazing) minimize and / or that are easily bendable without unwanted deformation.
- Such spacer profiles can be advantageous in the range of so-called "warm-edge" -Isolierusionnticianen be used where the water condensation on an inner surface an inner window should be minimized or prevented by the Temperature is kept as high as possible at an edge connection surface, namely even if the outer window pane is exposed to relatively low outside temperatures becomes.
- Spacer profiles are provided which involve the manufacture of integral spacer frames by bending a linear spacer profile.
- the resulting curved spacer frame has no unwanted deformations even then on if the spacer profile is cold or in only a minor degree heated state is bent with a conventional bending device.
- Insulating disk units by placing the curved spacer frame between two windows are made in a way and a position that is limited Allow range of relative movement through the window panes when the composite Isolierimintician exposed to pressure changes and / or a shear stress is.
- the spacer profiles have a profile body, which is an elastically plastically deformable Material (e.g., a plastic or resinous material) having a relatively low thermal conductivity having.
