- a thick matter pump of this type is known (EP-B 0 410 972), which has an upward-pointing material feed opening, two feed cylinder openings arranged on a front wall of the container, preferably provided with wear glasses, and one on the input side, arranged inside the container the feed cylinder openings are pivotable and on the output side are mounted in a passage opening of the container rear wall arranged above the feed cylinder openings and there terminating in a pressure tube which has the shape of an S-tube and is connected to the outside of the container rear wall.
- Such containers are usually cleaned and serviced from above through the material feed opening. Since an agitator is additionally arranged inside the container, the removal and installation of the pipe switch via the material feed opening is difficult.
- the invention has for its object to improve the known material feed container of the type specified in such a way that simple maintenance of the material feed container is possible and yet a stable construction is ensured and dead spaces in the interior of the container are avoided.
- the solution according to the invention makes use of the idea that the maintenance opening is formed by a cutout in the rear wall which is delimited by a peripheral edge and that the closure cover has an upper cover part which is oriented through the through-opening for the S-tube and is perpendicular to the pivot axis of the S-tube and has a lower cover part which adjoins this essentially parallel to an inclined S-tube section and forms an inclined bottom part.
- the maintenance opening must be large enough for the S-pipe to fit through. Therefore, although the maintenance opening is relatively large, the peripheral edge ensures sufficient dimensional stability.
- a further improvement in this regard results from the fact that the closure cover consists of two cover parts which are aligned obliquely to one another.
- the lower, obliquely aligned lid section runs at a short distance from the sloping S-tube section, so that the formation of dead spaces in which concrete can be deposited is largely avoided.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the circumferential edge of the maintenance opening has an upper flange section for flanging the upper cover section, which spans a plane oriented perpendicular to the pivot axis, and which is followed by a lower flange section for flanging the lower cover section, which spans a plane aligned essentially parallel to the sloping S-tube section.
