Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hazard detector with at least one sensor for one Hazard parameter, an evaluation electronics for the evaluation of the sensor signals, one in Following optical alarm display and a communication interface called alarm indicator for wireless two-way communication of the hazard detector with an operating module.
- hazard detectors are serviced more or less regularly, with the There is a desire to access the current signals of the detector during such service work to be able to analyze and evaluate them in detail.
- the evaluation electronics contains a memory, which is always the case with a microprocessor or microcontroller Is the case and can be the case with an ASIC (Application-Specified-Integrated-Circuit)
- the detector could additionally determine certain data and status information recorded during operation save it, which is then when the opportunity arises, for example as part of Service work from which detectors could be read and evaluated. For example, it is conceivable that the detector measures and stores the basic signal, or Almost alarms are registered or the respective hazard signal is saved. All of this information can be meaningfully evaluated statistically.
- US-A-7,704,607 discloses a device for remote adjustment of parameters of a gas sensor described with an operating device in the manner of a TV remote control.
- the gas sensor is arranged on an explosion-proof housing that contains the evaluation electronics and, like the control unit, an infrared communication interface for wireless Two-way communication.
- This solution comes from those sold in large quantities and hazard detectors used, such as smoke or motion detectors, for cost reasons out of the question because the communication interface makes the detectors too expensive would.
- EP-A-0 872 817 describes a hazard detector which is a communication interface for the transmission of data recorded by the detector, which preferably is formed by the alarm indicator or an additional infrared source.
- the communication interface can also have a receiver for data sent from an external source, which is preferably formed by an infrared receiver.
- This additional infrared receiver is arranged inside the housing and only after acceptance a cover ready for receiving data.
- this solution is for the most common hazard detectors too cumbersome and is therefore out of the question for them. Because one at a height of smoke or motion detectors mounted over 2 m with a communication interface, which requires manipulation of the detector before communication with the control module, would never be accepted by the market.
- the invention is now to provide a hazard detector of the type mentioned at the outset, whose communication interface is user-friendly, safe and undisturbed Communication between detector and control module enables, and what else the hazard detector only marginally more expensive.
- this object is achieved in that the communication interface an optical transmission channel formed by the alarm indicator, and an inductive reception channel having.
- a first preferred embodiment of the detector according to the invention is characterized in that that the receiving channel is essentially a resonant circuit and one of these has downstream demodulator.
- the hazard detector according to the invention has the advantage that by separating the communication interface into an optical transmission channel and an inductive reception channel Cost of the communication interface with a secure and reliable communication connection be kept very low. Because the alarm indicator is there anyway and is the inductive receive channel with the resonant circuit and the demodulator extremely inexpensive.
- the demodulator is a pulse shaper downstream, the output of which is connected to a microprocessor.
- This microprocessor preferably forms part of the evaluation electronics of the hazard detector.
- the invention further relates to an operating module for a hazard detector of the type mentioned, with a communication interface having a transmitter and a receiver.
- the Operating module according to the invention is characterized in that the receiver is characterized by a photodiode and the transmitter is formed by an inductor.

- the function of scattered light smoke detectors can be checked and checked with the test / picking head on the other hand, the detector can be inserted into and removed from its base. The latter The process is also known as "picking the detector”.
- a third preferred embodiment is characterized by an operating part of the type a remote control or a handheld, with a keypad and / or a display panel.
- the communication interface not only enables data to be entered into the detector, what Maintenance and revision work much easier, but it also enables bidirectional Communication between the control module and the control center of the concerned Alarm system.
- the latter facilitates the commissioning of the detector, where it is known among other things, the so-called localization of the detector. That means one the link of the logical address of the detector under which this in the central is saved with the physical address (e.g. room number), which can be done by entering a corresponding command on the control module.
- the invention will be explained using an exemplary embodiment and a block diagram the single interface showing the communication interface explained in more detail.

Description
einzusetzen.
gestrichelte Linie A voneinander getrennt sind.
Kanal KMo, KMi bzw.
