Abstract

L'invention concerne un collecteur d'huile destiné à un moteur à combustion interne, comportant un carter d'huile (2) logé en dessous d'un carter de vilebrequin, ledit carter d'huile présentant au moins deux sections de profondeurs différentes. Une section de profondeur supérieure (4) comporte une conduite d'aspiration d'huile (8) permettant d'alimenter l'huile de lubrification aux récepteurs par l'intermédiaire d'une pompe. Selon l'invention, un élément d'insertion séparé (18) est fixé dans le carter d'huile (2). Ledit élément d'insertion présente d'une part une barrière d'huile (22, 28) orientée perpendiculairement à l'extension longitudinale du carter d'huile (2), ladite barrière empêchant l'huile de lubrification de s'écouler de la section de profondeur supérieure (4) dans la chambre de vilebrequin et/ou dans la section de profondeur inférieure (12) lorsque le moteur à combustion interne est en position inclinée, et d'autre part des canaux de retour d'huile (34, 38, 40) destinés à l'huile de lubrification s'écoulant à partir de la tête de cylindre.
