Abstract
Bei einem Gepäckstück aus Kunststoff Schalenteilen (2, 4), die längs einer Kante der einander zugewandten freien Ränder (9) über ein Scharnier (5) verbunden sind und die eine Schliesseinrichtung zum Halten der Schalenteile (2, 4) in der Schliessstellung aufweisen, ist vorgesehen, dass die Schalenteile (2, 4) aus einem dünnen, flexiblen Kunststoffmaterial gebildet sind und dass mindestens ein Schalenteil (2, 4) mit mindestens einem nach aussen vorstehenden, umlaufenden, eine Fläche umgrenzenden Rand (28) ausgebildet ist, der mittels eines Reissverschlusses (16) mit einem Deckel (8) zur Bildung einer Vortasche (6) verbunden ist.
Description
Gepäckstück
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gepäckstück aus zwei Schalenteilen aus Kunststoff nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Derartige Gepäckstücke, z.B. Taschen, Koffer oder Rücksäcke können aus zwei Schalenteilen aus Kunststoff bestehen, die längs einer Kante der einander zugewandten freien Ränder über ein Scharnier verbunden sind, und die eine Schließeinrichtung, z.B. ein Schloss, zum Halten der Schalenteile in der Schließstellung aufweisen.
Die genannten Gepäckstücke werden auch aus Textilmaterial hergestellt, wobei derartige Gepäckstücke aus Textilmaterial den Nachteil haben, weniger robust zu sein und in erhöhtem Maße verschleißanfällig zu sein. Der Vorteil der Gepäckstücke aus Textilmaterial besteht darin, dass sie ein geringes Gewicht aufweisen und dass sie mit Taschenelementen versehen werden können. Die Gepäckstücke aus ABS-Schalenteilen haben den Nachteil, ein im Verhältnis zu textilen Gepäckstücken höheres Gewicht aufzuweisen. Femer können auf der Außenseite des Koffers keine zusätzlichen Taschen vorgesehen werden. Im Vergleich zu textilen Gepäckstücken weisen Gepäckstücke aus ABS-Kunststoff allerdings den Vorteil auf, robuster und weniger verschleißanfällig zu sein.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Gepäckstück aus Kunststoffschalenteilen zu bilden, das einerseits ein geringes Gewicht aufweist und mit Aufsatztaschen versehen werden kann und andererseits robust und wenig verschleißanfällig ist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe dienen die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1.
Die Erfindung sieht in vorteilhafter Weise vor, dass die Schalenteile aus einem dünnen, flexiblen Kunststoffmaterial gebildet sind und mindestens ein Schalenteil mit mindestens einem nach außen vorstehenden, umlaufenden, eine Fläche umgrenzenden Rand ausgebildet ist, der mittels eines Reißverschlusses mit einem Deckel zur Bildung einer Vortasche verbunden ist.
Die Bildung der Schalenteile aus einem dünnen, flexiblen Kunststoffmaterial hat den Vorteil, dass das Gepäckstück ein äußerst geringes Gewicht aufweist und sogar leichter ist als ein vergleichbares textiles Gepäckstück. Die Flexibilität des Kunststoffmaterials ermöglicht es, ähnlich wie bei einem Gepäckstück aus Textilmaterial, einen hohen Füllungsgrad zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig sind die Schalenteile aus einem hochfesten, aber flexiblen Kunststoffmaterial dennoch robust und in hohem Maße verschleißfest. Bei mindestens einem Schalenteil kann mindestens ein nach außen vorstehender, umlaufender, eine Fläche umgrenzender Rand ausgebildet sein, der mittels eines Reißverschlusses mit einem Deckel zur Bildung einer Vortasche verbunden ist. Dadurch, dass das flexible Kunststoff material dünn ist, kann es an dem umlaufenden Rand mit einem Reißverschluss vernäht werden, der andererseits mit einem Deckel vernäht ist. Auf diese Weise kann bei einem Gepäckstück aus Kunststoffschalenteilen in vorteilhafter Weise eine Vortasche gebildet werden, um ein Gepäckstück mit unterteilten Stauräumen zu schaffen.
Das Kunststoff material besteht vorzugsweise aus einer Polycarbonatfolie. Eine derartige Kunststofffolie kann tiefgezogen werden und weist hohe Festigkeitswerte auf, so dass die Gepäckstücke hohen Belastungskräften widerstehen können, wie sie insbesondere bei Flugreisen auftreten. Gleichzeitig kann die Polycar-
bonatfolie ausreichend dünn hergestellt werden, so dass das Gepäckstück einerseits ein äußerst geringes Gewicht aufweist und andererseits dünn genug ist, um vernäht werden zu können.
Die Polycarbonatfolie hat eine Dicke von ca. 1,5 bis 2,0 mm, vorzugsweise 1,6 mm.
Der Deckel kann eine dem Schalenteil zugewandten umlaufenden Rand aufweisen. Dieser Rand kann mit einem Seitenteil des Reißverschlusses verbunden werden.
Vorzugsweise ist der vorstehende Rand des Schalenteils und der Rand des Deckels von einem Keder eingefasst, wobei die Seitenteile des Reißverschlusses mit den Kedern und den Rändern verbunden sind.
Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird das Schalenteil zunächst als Formteil mit integriertem einstückigen Deckel ausgeformt und dann das Formteil entlang einer Trennungslinie aufgetrennt, um einerseits das Schalenteil mit einem vorstehenden Rand und andererseits den Deckel abzutrennen. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass sowohl das Schalenteil mit vorstehendem Rand als auch der Deckel in einem einzigen Fertigungsvorgang hergestellt werden können.
Die durch das Abtrennen des Deckels gebildete Aussparung im Schalenteil kann mit einem Bodenteil mit nach außen vorstehendem Rand verschlossen sein, wobei der vorstehende Rand gemeinsam mit dem anliegenden vorstehenden Rand des Schalenteils, dem Keder und dem einen Seitenteil des Reißverschlusses verbunden ist.
Dabei ist vorzugsweise vorgesehen, dass die vorstehenden Ränder mit dem Keder und den jeweiligen Seitenteilen des mindestens einen Reißverschlusses vernäht sind.
Beim Vernähen mit hochfesten Fäden oder Zwirnen kann die Festigkeit der Verbindung zwischen dem Reißverschluss und dem Schalenteil bzw. dem Deckel
und/oder dem Bodenteil derart erhöht werden, dass das Gepäckstück hohe Belastungen ohne Beschädigung überstehen kann.
Die Schließeinrichtung der Schalenteile besteht bevorzugt ebenfalls aus einem Reißverschluss.
Die Reißverschlüsse des Gepäckstückes und der Vortasche können zwei unabhängig bedienbare Schlitten aufweisen.
Im folgenden werden unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnungen ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung näher erläutert:

Das in Fig. 1 gezeigte Gepäckstück hat etwa die Form eines Aktenkoffers mit einer Vortasche 6. Das Gepäckstück ist aus Kunststoffschalenteilen 2,4 gebildet, die über ein Scharnier 5 miteinander verbunden sind und die über eine aus einem Reißverschluss 12 bestehende Schließeinrichtung in ihrer Schließstellung gehalten werden. Das untere Schalenteil 2 ist mit einem Handgriff 10 zum Tragen des Gepäckstückes versehen.
Der die beiden Schalenteile 2,4 verbindende Reißverschluss 12 kann mit zwei Schlitten 36 versehen sein, die unabhängig voneinander bedienbar sind.
Die Kunststoffschalenteile 2,4 bestehen aus einer hochfesten Polycarbonatfolie mit einer Dicke von ca. 1,0 mm bis 2,0 mm. Die bevorzugte Materialstärke beträgt 1,6 mm.
Fig. 2 zeigt ein tiefgezogenes Formteil 24, mit dem sowohl das obere Schalenteil 4 als auch ein Deckel 8 für eine Vortasche einstückig hergestellt werden. Das Formteil 24 wird längs der Trennungslinie 26 aufgetrennt, wodurch einerseits das Schalenteil 4 und der Deckel 8 hergestellt werden.
Das Formteil 4 weist dabei einen eingezogenen umlaufenden Rand 28 auf, der die Fläche der Vortasche 6 umgrenzt und der von dem Schalenteil 4 nach außen vorsteht. Um dem Rand eine höhere Steifigkeit zu verleihen, ist dieser gegenüber einem umlaufenden Sockel 29 eingezogen, wie am besten aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist. Wenn der vorstehende Rand, wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt, hergestellt wird, entsteht eine Aussparung in dem Schalenteil 4, die mit einem Bodenteil 22 verschlossen werden kann. Das Bodenteil 22 wird separat hergestellt und weist einen nach außen vorstehenden umlaufenden Rand 30 auf, der wie in Fig. 3 gezeigt, mit dem in der gleichen Richtung vorstehenden Rand 28 derart verbunden werden kann, dass die Rückseite des Bodenteils 22 vorzugsweise im wesentlichen mit der inneren Hauptfläche des Schalenteils 4 fluchtet.
Es versteht sich, dass auf der Außenseite des Schalenteils 4 auch mehr als eine Vortasche angeordnet werden kann. Diese könnten auf der äußeren Hauptfläche des Schalenteils 4 oder 6 neben oder übereinander angeordnet sein oder auch bei Gestaltung des Deckels 8 mit zwei entgegengesetzt abstehenden Rändern 32, aufeinander angeordnet sein.
Bei einer weiteren nicht dargestellten Alternative kann das Formteil 24 einstückig mit dem Bodenteil 22 hergestellt sein und lediglich ein nach außen vorstehender umlaufender Rand 28 in dem Formteil 24 ausgeformt sein. Hierbei könnte ein Heraustrennen des Bodenteils eventuell entfallen. In diesem Fall muss aber der Deckel 8 separat hergestellt werden.
Wie aus den Fign. 1 und 2 ersichtlich, weisen die Schalenteile 2,4 an ihren einander zugewandten Rändern 9 und mit geringem Abstand von diesen eine umlaufende Sicke 34 auf, die nach außen vorsteht und den Rand 9 ähnlich einem Rahmen versteift. Zwischen der umlaufenden Sicke 34 und dem Rand 9 verbleibt ein Streifen, der einen Keder 14 aufnimmt, der den Rand 9 umfasst und der jeweils mit einem Seitenteil des Reißverschlusses 12 vernäht ist.
Das Bodenteil 22 ist, wie am besten aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich, mit einen nach außen vorstehenden Rand 30 anliegend an dem nach außen vorstehenden Rand 28 des Schalenteils 4, wobei beide Ränder 28, 30 von einem umlaufenden Keder 18 eingefasst sind. Ein Reißverschluss 16 der Vortasche 6 ist über ein Seitenteil 15 mit dem Keder 18 und den dazwischenliegenden Rändern 28 und 30 vernäht. Die Naht wird mit Hilfe eines hochfesten Fadens oder Zwirns erstellt, so dass eine hohe Festigkeit der Verbindung erreicht werden kann, die auch hohen Belastungen des Gepäckstücks standhalten kann.
Das andere Seitenteil 17 des Reißverschlusses 16 der Vortasche ist mit einem den Rand 32 des Deckels 8 umfassenden Keder 20 vernäht. Auch der Deckel 8 kann mit Hilfe eines Scharniers 7 an den Schalenteil 4 gelenkig verbunden sein. Die Scharniere 5,7 bestehen beispielsweise aus einem Kunstledermaterial und können mit den Schalenteilen 2,4 bzw. dem Deckel 8 vernäht sein und ggf. zusätzlich vernietet sein.
Claims
1. Gepäckstück aus Kunststoff Schalenteilen (2,4), die längs einer Kante der einander zugewandten freien Ränder (9) über ein Scharnier (5) verbunden sind und die eine Schließeinrichtung zum Halten der Schalenteile (2,4) in der Schließstellung aufweisen, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , dass die Schalenteile (2,4) aus einem dünnen, flexiblen Kunststoffmaterial gebildet sind und dass mindestens ein Schalenteil (2,4) mit mindestens einem nach außen vorstehenden, umlaufenden, eine Fläche umgrenzenden Rand (28) ausgebildet ist, der mittels eines Reißverschlusses (16) mit einem Deckel (8) zur Bildung einer Vortasche (6) verbunden ist.
2. Gepäckstück nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Kunststoffmaterial aus einer Polycarbonatfolie besteht.
3. Gepäckstück nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polycarbonatfolie eine Dicke von ca. 1,0 mm bis 2,0 mm, vorzugsweise 1,6 mm, aufweist.
4. Gepäckstück nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet dass der Deckel (8) einen dem Schalenteil (4) zugewandten umlaufenden Rand (32) aufweist.
5. Gepäckstück nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der vorstehende Rand (28) des Schalenteils (4) und der Rand (32) des Deckels (8) von einem Keder (18,20) eingefasst sind und dass der Reißverschluss (16) Seitenteile (15,17) aufweist, die mit den Kedern (18,20) und den Rändern (28,32) verbunden sind.
6. Gepäckstück nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schalenteil (4) als Formteil (24) mit einstückigem Deckel (8) ausformbar ist und dass das Formteil (24) entlang einer Trennungslinie (26) zur
Bildung des Schalenteils (4) mit vorstehendem Rand (28) und des Deckels (8) getrennt wird.
7. Gepäckstück nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die durch das Abtrennen des Deckels (8) gebildete Aussparung im Schalenteil (4) mit einem Bodenteil (22) mit vorstehendem Rand (30) verschlossen ist, wobei der vorstehende Rand (30) gemeinsam mit dem vorstehenden Rand (28) des Schalenteils, dem Keder (18) und dem einen Seitenteil (15) des Reißverschlusses (16) verbunden ist.
8. Gepäckstück nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vorstehenden Ränder (28,30,32) mit den Kedern (18;20) und den jeweiligen Seitenteilen (15;17) des mindestens einen Reißverschlusses (16) vernäht sind.
9. Gepäckstück nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schließeinrichtung der Schalenteile (2,4) aus einem Reißverschluss (12) besteht.
10. Gepäckstück nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reißverschlüsse (12,16) zwei unabhängig bedienbare Schlitten (36) aufweist.
