- the headlight lamps according to the invention are distinguished from the known generic lamps in that the base flange has at least three tabs arranged along the circumference of the base flange which are resilient perpendicular to the plane of the base flange. These tabs, together with the reference lugs, allow the headlight lamp according to the invention to be fastened in a lamp mounting opening of the headlight. After the lamp has been inserted, the edge of the lamp mounting opening of the headlamp is clamped between the reference lugs and the tabs according to the invention. A sealing ring and a gas-tight plastic base part are not required if the headlamp itself is equipped with sealants for gas-tight sealing of the lamp mounting opening.
- the tabs formed on the base flange are each provided with a curvature protruding from the plane of the base flange.
- the base flange and the molded tab advantageously consist of a metal. This is the easiest way to achieve a spring effect perpendicular to the base flange level as well as high strength and elasticity. Since the lamp according to the invention is inserted into the lamp mounting opening of the headlight by means of a rotary movement, the tabs formed on the base flange advantageously extend in the azimuthal direction and have the same orientation. In addition, they are preferably designed in the same way.
