Definitions
- the invention relates to a hand shower with the preamble of claim 1 specified features.
- Hand showers are usually used for targeted showering of the body.
- the hand shower is usually manually guided along the body or held in a desired position.
- hand showers can be fixed in certain positions relative to the shower end and so z. B. perform the function of an overhead shower. In this application, both hands of the showering person can remain free.
- both types of handling a hand shower limit the convenience of use.
- One hand is permanently blocked during manual handling. Reaching all parts of the body is often only possible to a limited extent.
- the targeted wetting of a part of the body over a longer period of time - e.g. B. to relax the muscles in the lumbar region - is tiring in this way and hardly allows a relaxing shower.
- the fixation of the hand shower to a wall bar does not remedy these disadvantages, since the direction of exit of the shower jets can only be changed to a limited extent.
- a horizontal water jet direction is usually not adjustable in this way.
- the invention has for its object a hand shower to create that in the simplest possible way a variable alignment of the shower jets with the shower head enables and thus also when fixed a wall bar as a head, hand or side shower can be used.
- the hand shower should furthermore in contrast to known complex shower systems with head, hand and side shower function relative be easy and inexpensive to manufacture.
- the convenience of use of the hand shower is considerably expanded.
- the mounting of the shower head on an axis of rotation arranged at an angle to the handle enables the shower jets to be directed towards any part of the body when the hand shower is fixed to a wall bar.
- This area of the body can now be exposed to shower jets for any length of time, leaving the hands of the showering person free.
- the manual handling of the hand shower according to the invention is also considerably facilitated, since the bending of the user's wrist that was previously required in conventional hand showers can be significantly minimized by turning the shower head.
- an optimal position of the shower head for cleaning the shower and / or bath can be set.
- the shower head can be provided with a plurality of shower jet generation systems.
- two water chambers with different shower jets can advantageously be formed in the shower head, which can optionally be acted upon with the inflowing shower water via a changeover valve.
- the changeover valve can be provided in the area of the handle and can be actuated by a membrane button on the handle.
- a quantity regulating valve for the inflow of the shower water to a shower head with a shower jet generation system can also be actuated with such a membrane button.
- connection housing can be provided, on the one hand a shower hose for the supply of the shower water and on the other hand a shower head on the axis of rotation can be connected.
- connection housing can then finally the handle as one one-piece or multi-piece sleeve or grip shell pushed on and be locked in the inserted position.
- a shower head 1 is rotatably connected to a handle 2.
- a shower hose - not shown in the drawing - can be inserted for the introduction of the shower water.
- the shower head 1 is rotatably connected to the handle 2 on an axis of rotation 3 through 360 °, the incoming shower water being able to enter the shower head 1 via a channel in all rotary positions.
- the axis of rotation 3 is arranged at an angle 30 of approximately 45 ° to the axis 20 of the handle 2.
- the handle 2 is curved, a circular connection surface 22 perpendicular to the axis of rotation being formed in the region of the axis of rotation 3.
- the connection surface 22 is arranged approximately parallel to a central axis 21 at the upstream end region of the handle 2.
- the shower head 1 has a spherical zone shape and is attached to the connection surface 22 with a corresponding flat end face.
- a second circular end surface, inclined to the first end surface, is formed on the shower head 1 for a shower base 12.
- Water jet nozzles are formed in the shower base 12 and emerge from the shower base 12 approximately parallel to the axis 10.
- the axis 10 is in this case arranged at an angle 31 of approximately 45 ° to the axis of rotation 3.
- the shower head 1 can thus, depending on its rotational position - with respect to the central axis 21 - be directed both backwards (FIG. 1) and forwards (FIG. 2).
- the shower head 1 can be rotated through 360 ° on the axis of rotation 3, intermediate positions being infinitely variable.
- the shower head 1 is provided in the area of the axis of rotation 3 and the water supply with O-rings, which on the one hand secure the water supply and on the other hand give the shower head 1 a certain stiffness, so that an automatic turning of the shower head 1 is excluded, but a desired turning by hand is possible.
- FIGS. 3-7 differs from the exemplary embodiment described above in that two jet generation systems are provided in the shower head 1.
- a water outlet slot 11 of a gush shower jet generation system is provided in the spherical outer surface of the shower head 1.
- the surge shower system is shown in operation in FIG. 4, a shower hose 4 being connected to a connection housing 23.
- a changeover valve 24 is formed, with which the inflowing shower water can optionally be supplied to a first ring channel 230 or a second ring channel 231.
- the changeover valve 24 is loaded with a compression spring 240 so that when the shower water supply is shut off, the closure member of the changeover valve 24 is returned to a preferred position, namely the normal shower position.
- the closure member is designed so that the flow pressure of the incoming shower water, contrary to the spring pressure, keeps it in the selected position, as shown in FIG. 4 of the drawing.
- the inflowing shower water thus enters the annular channel 231 and from here via an opening 150 into a water chamber 15. From here, the shower water is discharged via the water outlet slot 11 as a shower spray.
- the shower head 1 lies here with a flat end face 13 on a circular connection surface 22 of the connection housing 23. In this position, the shower head 1 is held by a screw bolt 16, which is arranged on the axis of rotation 13.
- the individual ring channels 231, 230 are sealed against one another and to the outside in a known manner using O-rings.
- the shower head 1 can thus be rotated through 360 ° on the axis of rotation 3 without the connection between the ring channel 231 and the water chamber 15 being interrupted.
- shower mixer shut off, so the spring 240 presses the closure member of the switching valve 24 in the preferred position, such as it can be seen from Figure 5 of the drawing. Becomes then the shower water flow released again, so the shower water now flows over the ring channel 230 and an opening 140 into a water chamber 14 which downstream of a shower base 12 in known Way is locked. There are one in the shower base 12 Variety of water jet nozzles 120 formed from which a normal shower jet approximately coaxial to axis 10 is delivered. Also in this position of the changeover valve 24 the shower head can rotate 360 ° around the axis of rotation 3 can be turned without the water inflow the ring channel 230 interrupted in the water chamber 14 is, as can be seen from Figures 5 and 6 of the drawing is.
- the handle 2 is as multi-part sleeve or as a multi-part grip shell educated.
- the handle 2 can be from the shower hose 4 pushed onto the connection housing 23 be and in the plug-in position with the help of locking lugs 25 on one formed on the connection housing 23 Flange ring 232 can be locked in the plug position.
- Flange ring 232 can be locked in the plug position.
- in the Handle 2 in the wall is also a membrane button formed with which the switching valve 24 can be actuated is.
- FIG. 7 of the drawing shows such a wall bar 5, installed on a building wall 50.
- the shower head 1 is shown as a surge shower in operation.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- eine Handbrause in Seitenansicht mit einem Brausekopf in konventioneller Drehstellung;
- Fig. 2
- die in Figur 1 gezeigte Handbrause mit einem um 180° gedrehten Brausekopf;
- Fig. 3
- ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel einer Handbrause mit zwei separat ausgebildeten Brausestrahlerzeugungssystemen;
- Fig. 4
- einen Teil der in Figur 3 gezeigten Handbrause im Längsschnitt in vergrößerter Darstellung, wobei das Strahlerzeugungssystem für eine Schwallbrause mit Brausewasser beaufschlagt ist;
- Fig. 5
- einen Teil der in Figur 3 gezeigten Handbrause im Längsschnitt in vergrößerter Darstellung, wobei das Brausestrahlerzeugungssystem für Normalbrausestrahlen vom Brausewasser beaufschlagt ist;
- Fig. 6
- die in Figur 5 gezeigte Handbrause, wobei der Brausekopf um 180° verdreht worden ist;
