Definitions
- the invention is based on a high-pressure fuel accumulator for a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines with a storage space and at least one connecting piece.
- a cylindrical high-pressure fuel storage is known from DE-OS 196 40 480 Al, in which the longitudinal axis of the bore, the storage space and connecting piece connects, is a secant of the circular storage space cross-section. This results in a reduction of the stresses in the region of the intersection of the inner wall of the reservoir and the bore, so that the load capacity and service life of the high-pressure fuel accumulator are increased.
- a high-pressure fuel accumulator in which the high-pressure fuel lines are pressed into a sealing surface produced directly in the storage wall. Between this sealing surface and the interior of the high-pressure fuel storage multiple connection holes are provided.
- the invention has for its object to provide a high-pressure fuel storage with increased pressure resistance, especially at swelling compressive stress.
- a high-pressure fuel storage with the characterizing features of claim 1.
- This has the advantage that, with the same hydraulic diameter, the stress peaks caused by the smaller connection bores are less than with a single large diameter bore. This increases the compressive strength and service life of the high-pressure fuel accumulator.
- the high-pressure fuel storage can be adapted to different operating conditions while optimizing the Fier eins slaughter by the number and diameter of the connecting holes are changed. In principle, a large number of small diameter connecting bores lead to high pressure resistance of the high-pressure fuel accumulator.
- connection holes open tangentially into the storage space
- the storage space is cylindrical, so that it can be easily and inexpensively manufactured.
- Another variant sees a spherical storage space before, so that, apart from the Verschneidungs Schemeen with the connecting holes, a uniform state of tension in the memory prevails.
- the connecting holes open into a collecting bore of the connecting piece, so that the connecting piece can be connected in a known manner with a high-pressure line.
- the connecting bores opening tangentially into the storage space have a larger diameter than the connecting bores which do not open tangentially into the storage space, so that the tension peaks caused by the connecting bores are approximately the same and thus the strength of the material is utilized in the best possible way.
- the high-pressure fuel storage is produced by forging, so that the material properties are improved.
- Another alternative provides that at least one fastening tab is arranged on the high-pressure fuel accumulator, so that the memory can be easily and securely fastened in the vehicle interior.
- the high-pressure fuel storage is constructed of a tube with welded-on connection piece, so that the production is simplified.
- a high-pressure fuel storage 1 according to the prior art is shown in partial longitudinal section.
- the high-pressure fuel storage 1 has one or more connecting pieces 2, of which in Fig. 1, only one is shown. In addition, a fastening tab 3 is visible.
- the connecting piece 2 has a bore 4, which connects the connecting piece 2 with the storage space 5 hydraulically.
- the area 6 of the intersection between bore 4 and storage space 5 is the most vulnerable to fracture, because with increasing diameter of the bore 4, the stresses in the intersection region 6 increase. However, so that the throttle effect of the bore 4 remains low, the diameter of the bore 4 should be as large as possible.
- FIG. 2 shows a cross section of a high-pressure fuel accumulator 1 according to the invention.
- the connecting piece 2 has in its upper part a collecting hole 7, which is divided into two connecting holes 8. This has the advantage that the diameter of the connecting bores 8 relative to the diameter of the storage space 5 is relatively small. As a result, the voltages in the Verschneidungs Schemeen 9 are relatively low.
- the connecting holes 8 open tangentially into the storage space 5. This has the additional advantage that at tangential junction of the connecting holes 8 in the storage space 5 the Only superimpose individual loads vectorially, resulting in a further reduction of the loads.
- Fig. 3a is a plan view of a high-pressure fuel storage 1 according to the invention with connecting piece 2 is shown. It can be clearly seen that, starting from the collecting bore 7, two connecting bores 8 open into the storage space 5, shown only in dashed lines.
- Fig. 3 b is a plan view of an embodiment of the invention with four connecting holes 8 is shown. It goes without saying that the number and the arrangement of the connecting holes 8 can be selected depending on the required hydraulic diameter, working pressure of the memory and the strength of the storage material.
- FIG. 4 a shows a plan view of a further embodiment of a high-pressure fuel accumulator 1 according to the invention.
- the connecting piece 2 is offset from the center with respect to the longitudinal axis of the high-pressure fuel accumulator. This offset causes the connecting holes 8 open tangentially into the storage space 5.
- FIG. 4b shows a longitudinal section along the line AA of a high-pressure fuel accumulator 1 according to the invention.
- the Intersections 9 of connecting holes 8 and memory space 5 to recognize well.
- the tangential opening of the connecting bores 8 in the storage space 5 causes a reduction of the stresses in the Verschneidungs Schemeen 9th

Description
- Fig. 1:
- einen zylindrischen Kraftstoffhochdruckspeicher nach dem Stand der Technik im Teillängsschnitt;
- Fig. 2:
- einen Querschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Kraftstoffhochdruckspeicher;
- Fig. 3:
