Description

Zigarettenpackung mit Öffnungshilfe
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Packung, insbesondere Zigarettenpackung, bestehend aus mindestens einem den Packungsinhalt umgebenden Packungsbehälter, vorzugsweise Weichbecher und einer Außenumhüllung aus Folie oder dergleichen, die bei Ingebrauch- nähme mindestens teilweise entfernt wird, wobei der Packungsbehälter eine durch Faltung und/oder durch Schwächungslinien begrenzte Aufreiß- bzw. Öffnungslasche aufweist.
Bei Packungen für Massenkonsumgüter, insbesondere bei Zigaret- tenpackungen, besteht das Problem der leichten, für den Konsumenten einfach zu handhabenden Öffnung der Packung bei (erstmaliger) Ingebrauchnahme. Vor allem bei Zigarettenpackungen des Typs Weichbecher ist es üblich, im Bereich einer Stirnwand einer Innenumhüllung aus Stanniol von Hand sorgfältig einen Teilbereich der Stirnwand herauszutrennen und so eine Entnahmeöffnung zu schaffen. Es ist bereits versucht worden, mit Hilfe von Perforationslinien eine leichter zu entfernende Öffnungslasche zu schaffen. Auch deren Handhabung ist noch unbefriedigend.
Der Erfindung liegt deshalb die Aufgabe zugrunde, das Öffnen einer Packung, insbesondere Zigarettenpackung, bei erstmaliger Ingebrauchnahme zu erleichtern.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Packung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungslasche des Packungsbehälters mit der Außenumhüllung verbunden ist, derart, daß bei Beseitigung der Außenumhüllung die Aufreißlasche in eine Öffnungsstellung bewegbar oder vom Packungsbehälter abtrennbar ist.
Der Erfindungsgedanke besteht demnach darin, die Öffnungslasche einer Packung, insbesondere eine durch Perforationen oder auf andere Weise definierte Öffnungslasche bei Beseitigung der Außenumhüll ung automatisch zu entfernen oder mindestens in eine Öffnungsstellung zu bewegen. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Öffnungslasche, ggf. aber auch ein Deckel einer Packung, durch Klebung mit der Außenumhüllung aus Folie oder mit dem zu beseitigenden Teil der Außenumhüllung verbunden. Wenn demnach die Außenumhül- lung bei der erstmaligen Ingebrauchnahme der Packung ganz oder teilweise entfernt wird, bewirkt dies eine selbsttätige Öffnung der Lasche.
Bei einer Weichbecherpackung besteht eine Stirnwand aus reißfä- hige Material, nämlich aus Stanniol (Innenumhüllung einer klassischen Weichbecherpackung) oder aus Papier (Packung gemäß US 5 762 186). Die Stirnwand der Innenumhüllung oder des Packungsbehälters wird mit einer durch Perforationen und/oder Stanzlinien definierten Öffnungslasche versehen. Diese ist mit- tel s Leim an der Innenseite einer Stirnwand der Außenumhüllung aus Folie befestigt. Üblicherweise wird ein oberer Teil der Außenumhüllung, nämlich ein Kappenteil, mit Hilfe eines ringsherumlaufenden Aufrei ßstrei fens entfernt. Mit diesem Kappenteil ist die Öffnungslasche verbunden. Beim Erfassen des Kappenteils wird die Öffnungslasche unter Beseitigung von Restverbindungen in die Öffnungsstellung gezogen.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist die Erfindung anwendbar bei einer Packung mit Öffnungshilfe entsprechend DE 198 02 800.8.
Weitere Einzelheiten und Merkmale der erfindungsgemäßen Packung werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

In den Zeichnungen sind Zigarettenpackungen und deren Zu- schnitte als bevorzugtes Anwendungsbeispiel gezeigt. Es handelt sich dabei um solche Packungen, bei denen der Packungsinhalt, nämlich eine Gruppe von Zigaretten 10, vollständig von einem Zuschnitt aus reißfähigem Verpackungsmaterial umgeben ist.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine modifizierte Weichbecherpackung. Diese besteht aus einem einzigen Zuschnitt (Fig. 5) zur Bildung eines Packungsbehälters 11 mit Vorderwand 12, Rückwand 13, zwei schmalen, aufrechten Seitenwänden 14, 15, einer Bodenwand 16 und einer Stirnwand 17. Eine Besonderheit dieses Packungsbehäl - ters 11 ist die doppellagige Ausbildung der Bodenwand 16. Zu diesem Zweck weist der Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 5 bodenseitig zwei Faltstreifen 18, 19 auf. Der untere bzw. randseitige Faltstreifen 19 wird entlang einer Faltkante 20 umgefaltet gegen den Faltstreifen 18 (Fig. 6, Fig. 7), so daß dieser randseitige Be- reich des Zuschnitts doppellagig ausgebildet ist. In diesem doppel 1 agigen Bereich wird die Bodenwand 16 gebildet durch übliche Kuvert-Faltung. Dabei wird ein äußerer, trapezförmiger (doppel 1 agiger) Faltlappen durch Leim in der Faltstellung fixiert, im vorliegenden Falle durch (vier) Leimpunkte 21. Das äußere Erscheinungsbild der Bodenwand 16 entspricht demjenigen einer konventionellen Weichbecherpackung.
Auch im Bereich der Stirnwand 17 ist der Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 5 bzw. die Zigarettenpackung gemäß Fig. 1 besonders gestaltet. Zwei Materi al strei fen 22, 23 des Zuschnitts werden Z-förmig gefaltet, und zwar an der Innenseite des herzustellenden Packungsbehälters 11. Eine Faltlinie 24 bildet danach einen oberen Rand, der optisch den Eindruck einer Randkante eines herkömmlichen Weichbechers erweckt. An den Materi al strei fen 22 schließt ein Stirnwandstreifen 25 an, der in herkömmlicher Weise gefaltet wird unter Bildung der Stirnwand 17.
Die Stirnwand 17 ist so ausgebildet wie die Stirnwand einer beispielsweise aus Stanniol bestehenden Innenumhüll ung einer klassischen Weichbecherpackung. Der Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 5 wird zu diesem Zweck zunächst in eine Zwi schenfal tstel 1 ung gemäß Fig. 6 und Fig. 7 gefaltet mit der beschriebenen Z-Faltung benachbart zur Stirnwand 17 bzw. zum Stirnwandstreifen 25. Sodann wird eine schl auchför ige, im Querschnitt geschlossene Zwi - schenfal tstel 1 ung des Zuschnitts herbeigeführt, wobei ein innenseitiger Randlappen 26 durch Leimpunkte 27 mit der zugeord- neten Seitenwand 14 am freien Rand des Zuschnitts verbunden wird. Nach Faltung der Bodenwand 16 und Füllung der soweit fertiggestellten Packung wird die Stirnwand in herkömmlicher Weise gefaltet, derart, daß innenliegende Ecklappen 28, 29 und auf diese gefaltete, trapezförmige Längslappen 30, 31 gebildet sind. Quer über die Stirnwand 17 erstreckt sich eine Banderole 32, z.B. eine Steuerbanderole.
Die soweit beschriebene Packung bzw. der Packungsbehälter 11 ist im übrigen zweckmäßigerweise so ausgebildet wie in US 5 762 186 dargestellt und beschrieben. Der Packungsbehälter 11 ist vollständig umgeben von einer Außenumhüllung 33 aus dünner Folie, insbesondere einer Klarsichtfolie. Die Außenumhüllung 33 kann in verschiedener Weise gefaltet sein. Üblich ist eine Ausbildung im Bereich einer Außenstirnwand 34 mit einer Faltkonstruktion entsprechend der Stirnwand 17.
Die Außenumhüllung 33 wird bei erstmaliger Ingebrauchnahme der Packung ganz oder teilweise entfernt. Bei den vorliegenden Aus- führungsbei spiel en ist die Außenumhüllung 33 mit einem Aufreißstreifen 35 versehen. Dieser weist ein erfaßbares Griffende 36 auf. Durch Betätigen des Aufreißstrei fens 35 wird ein oberer Teilbereich der Außenumhüllung 33 abgetrennt und entfernt, nämlich ein Kappenteil 37.
Die Packung ist mit einer selbsttätigen Öffnungshilfe versehen. Diese ist bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1, 3, 5, 6 und 7 unter Nutzung der Z-Faltung gestaltet. Der Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 5 ist mit einer Schwächungslinie, nämlich einer Perforati onsl i - nie 38 versehen, die eine beim ungefalteten Zuschnitt T-för- mige, randseitige Öffnungslasche 39 begrenzt. Diese erstreckt sich mit einem Teilbereich innerhalb der Seitenwand 15, im übrigen im Bereich der Z-Faltung, also der Materi al strei fen 22, 23 sowie im Bereich des Stirnwandstreifens 25. Die Öffnungsla- sehe 39 ist in einem Endbereich, der in die Seitenwand 15 hineinragt, mit einer durchgehenden Stanzlinie 40 als Begrenzung versehen. In diesem Bereich ist demnach die Aufreiß- bzw. Öffnungslasche 39 nicht mit dem übrigen Teil des Zuschnitts verbunden .
Aufgrund der Anordnung und Gestaltung der Öffnungslasche 39 ergibt sich bei der Z-förmigen Faltung der Material strei fen 22, 23 eine aufgerichtete, frei abstehende Position einer durch die Stanzlinie 40 begrenzten Grifflasche 41. Diese erstreckt sich in Verlängerung der Seitenwand 15, über die bei der Z-Faltung gebildete Faltlinie 24 hinaus. Bei der Komplettierung der Packung bzw. des Packungsbehälters 11, unter anderem durch Fal- tung der Stirnwand 17, wird die Grifflasche 41 in die Ebene der Stirnwand 17 umgefaltet. Die Grifflasche 41 liegt außen auf der Stirnwand 17 auf, nämlich jeweils mit Teilbereichen auf dem Ecklappen 29 und den Längslappen 30, 31 (Fig. 1). Im übrigen ist die Packung hinsichtlich der Öffnungshilfe nach Maßgabe von DE 198 02 800.8 ausgebildet. Dies bedeutet, daß im seitlichen Bereich der Stirnwand 17, nämlich in einem Bereich neben der Banderole 32, eine vollständig entfernbare, nämlich heraustrennbare Öffnungslasche 39 definiert ist. Bei Betätigen der Grifflasche 41 wird die Öffnungslasche 39 entlang der Perforationslinie 38 bis zur Banderole 32 bzw. bis geringfügig unterhalb der Banderole 32 herausgetrennt, wobei Perforationsschenkel 42 als quergerichtete Trennlinien im Bereich der Längslappen 30, 31 wirken.
Die Öffnungslasche 39 ist mit der Innenseite der Außenumhüllung 33 verbunden, nämlich mit deren Außenstirnwand 34. Zur Verbindung dient Leim. Die nach außen bzw. nach oben gekehrte Seite der Grifflasche 41 ist mit einer Leimfläche 43 versehen, die die Grifflasche 41 als Teil der Öffnungslasche 39 mit der Außenumhüllung 33, nämlich mit der Außenstirnwand 34 verbindet. Es wird zweckmäßigerweise klarsichtiger Leim verwendet, so daß die Leimfläche 43 nach außen nicht erkennbar ist.
Beim Öffnen der so ausgebildeten Packung wird die Außenumhüllung 33 bzw. der Kappenteil 37 durch Betätigen des Aufreißstreifens 35 entfernt. Durch Erfassen und Anheben des Kappenteils 37 wird infolge der Verbindung mit der Grifflasche 41 die Öffnungslasche 39 betätigt und entlang der Perforationslinie 38 aus der Stirnwand 17 herausgetrennt. Dabei kann die Öffnungslasche 39 nach Freigabe einer Entnahmeöffnung für die Zigaretten 10 mit dem Packungsbehälter 11 in Verbindung bleiben. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel wird aber durch Wirkung der Perforationsschenkel 42 die Öffnungslasche 39 zusammen mit dem Kappenteil 37 vollständig entfernt. In besonderer Weise erfolgt die Fertigung einer mit einer derartigen selbsttätigen Öffnungshilfe versehenen Packung. Die Leimfläche 43 kann an der Außenumhüllung 33 angebracht werden (innenseitig), bevor diese vollständig um den Packungsbehälter 11 herumgefaltet wird. Das vorliegende Ausführungsbeispiel ist so ausgelegt, daß die Leimfläche 43 am Zuschnitt angebracht wird, und zwar vorteil afterweise bei der Fertigung einer Materialbahn für Zuschnitte gemäß Fig. 5. Die Zuschnitte werden üblicherweise von einem Hersteller für Verpackungsmaterial ge- liefert, und zwar mit einer Bedruckung. Bei diesem Vorgang wird nach dem gezeigten Vorschlag die Leimfläche 43 positionsgerecht aufgetragen, und zwar auf der nicht bedruckten, inneren Seite aufgrund des besonderen Faltschemas der hier gezeigten Öffnungslasche bzw. der Grifflasche 41. Dabei wird ein Leim ver- wendet, der nach dem Auftragen auf den Zuschnitt bzw. auf die Materialbahn aushärtet und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt, nämlich nach kompletter Fertigstellung der Packung gemäß Fig. 1, durch Wärme und Druck reaktiviert wird zur Herstellung der Verbindung mit der Außenumhüllung 33. Geeignet ist sogenannter Hotmelt- Leim.
Die Verbindung der Leimfläche 43 mit der Innenseite der gefalteten Außenstirnwand 34 erfolgt zweckmäßigerweise während der Verbindung der Faltlaschen dieser Außenstirnwand 34 durch thermisches Siegeln. Der aufgewendete Druck und die Wärme bewirken zugleich eine Verbindung der Grifflasche 41 mit der Außenstirnwand 34.
Die selbsttätige Öffnungshilfe kann auch bei anderen, ver- gleichbaren Packungen zum Einsatz kommen. Fig. 2 zeigt eine im Prinzip herkömmliche Zigarettenpackung des Typs Weichbecher. Ein Packungsbehälter 44 ist als oben offener Becher ausgebildet. Innerhalb desselben ist ein Zigarettenblock 45 angeordnet, der aus einer die Gruppe der Zigaretten 10 umgebenden Innenum- hüllung 46 aus Stanniol, Papier oder dergleichen besteht. Die Innenumhüllung 46 ist im oberen Bereich so gefaltet, daß eine Stirnwand 17 entsprechend Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 gebil- det ist. Die Faltlappen der Stirnwand 17 werden auch hier durch eine Banderole 32 in Schließstellung gehalten.
Als Öffnungshilfe ist eine Öffnungslasche 47 vorgesehen im seitlichen Bereich der Stirnwand 17 neben der Banderole 32.
Fig. 8 zeigt einen ungefalteten Zuschnitt für die Innenumhüllung 46. Die Öffnungslasche 47 ist durch eine U-förmige Perforationslinie 48 im Bereich eines Stirnwandstreifens 49 gebil- det. Die U-förmige Perforationslinie 48 erstreckt sich entlang der Begrenzung von Seitenwand 15 und Vorderwand 12 sowie Rückwand 13. Quergerichtete Perforationsschenkel 50 verlaufen quer zur Stirnwand 17 im Bereich der Längslappen 30, 31, analog zum Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1.
Die so ausgebildete Weichbecherpackung ist von einer Außenumhüllung 33 der beschriebenen Gestaltung umgeben. Die Öffnungslasche 47 ist mit der Außenstirnwand 34 derselben verbunden, und zwar durch (zwei) Leimpunkte bzw. Leimflächen 51, 52. Diese sind an der Stirnwand 17 angeordnet, nämlich im Bereich der Längslappen 30, 31. Beim (erstmaligen) Öffnen der Packung gemäß Fig. 2 mit Hilfe des Aufrei ßstrei fens 35 wird das Kappenteil 37 frei und kann von Hand entfernt werden. Dabei wird die Öffnungslasche 47 aus der Stirnwand 17 herausgetrennt. Zum er- leichterten Heraustrennen (Fig. 4) kann der zuerst beim Öffnungsvorgang erfaßte Teil der Grifflasche 41, nämlich die Perforationsschenkel 50, ganz oder teilweise als Stanzlinie ausgebildet sein.
Die Leimflächen 51, 52 können auf verschiedene Weise angebracht werden. So können beim Fertigen einer Materialbahn für die Innenumhüllung 46 die Leimflächen 51, 52 positionsgerecht aufgedruckt werden. Es kann auch so vorgegangen werden, daß die fertigen Zuschnitte gemäß Fig. 8 mit Leimflächen 51, 52 versehen werden. Bei der vorliegenden Gestaltung ist es aber besonders vorteilhaft, die Leimflächen 51, 52 nach Fertigstellung der Packung selbst, vor Anbringen der Außenumhüllung 33, die Leim- flächen 51, 52 auf die Stirnwand 17 im Bereich der Öffnungslasche 47 aufzubringen und in der beschriebenen Weise bei der Fertigstellung der Außenumhüllung 33 zu aktivieren. Schließlich ist es aber auch möglich, die Außenumhüllung 33 selbst mit Leim zu versehen.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Packung, insbesondere Zigarettenpackung, bestehend aus mindestens einem den Packungsinhalt umgebenden Packungsbehälter (11), insbesondere Weichbecherpackung und mit einer Außenumhüllung (33) aus Folie oder dergleichen, die bei Ingebrauchnahme mindestens teilweise entfernt wird, wobei der Packungsbehälter (11) eine durch Faltung und/oder durch Schwächungslinie begrenzte Aufreiß- bzw. Öffnungslasche (39, 47) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungslasche (39, 47) des Packungsbehälters (11) bzw. einer Innenumhüllung (46) mit der Außenumhüllung (33) verbunden ist, derart, daß bei Beseitigung der Außenumhüllung (33) die Öffnungslasche (39, 47) in eine Öffnungsstellung bewegbar oder vom Packungsbehälter (11) abtrennbar i st .
2. Packung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei einer quaderförmigen Zigarettenpackung mit einem eine Stirnwand (17) bildenden Packungsbehälter oder mit einer eine Stirnwand (17) bildenden Innenumhüllung (46) eine Öffnungslasche (39, 47) im Bereich der Stirnwand (17) gebildet ist und daß die Öff- nungslasche (39, 47) mit der Innenseite einer Außenstirnwand (34) der Außenumhüllung (33) verbunden ist, insbesondere durch Kl ebung .
3. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungslasche (39, 47) mit einem mit Hilfe eines Aufreißstreifens (35) abtrennbaren Teil der Außenumhüllung (33) verbunden ist, nämlich mit einem entfernbaren Kappenteil (37).
4. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungslasche (39, 47) durch mittels Wärme und Druck aktivierbaren Kleber, insbesondere durch klarsichtigen Hotmel t-Leim, mit der Außenumhüllung (33) bzw. der Außenstirnwand (34) verbunden ist.
5. Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungslasche (39, 47) im Bereich einer durch Stanzlinie (40) freien Grifflasche (41) der Öffnungslasche (39) oder in einem durch Stanzlinie freien Teils der Öffnungslasche (47) mit der Außenumhüllung (33) bzw. der Außenstirnwand (34) verbunden ist.
6. Packung nach Anspruch 5 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine aufgrund einer Z-Faltung eines Zuschnitts für den Packungsbehälter (11) freiliegende Grifflasche (41) gegen die Außenseite der Stirnwand (17) gefaltet und mit der nach außen oben gekehrten Seite mit der Außenstirnwand (34) verbunden ist.

Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Verbindung einer als Teilbereich der Stirnwand (17) durch eine Perforationslinie (48) definierte Öffnungslasche (47) durch (zwei) Leimflächen (51, 52) im Bereich von Längslappen (30, 31) der Stirnwand (17) mit der Außenstirnwand (34) verbunden ist.
8. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Packungen nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß reaktivierbarer Leim, insbesondere Hotmel t-Leim, auf eine Ma- terialbahn zur Bildung eines Packungsbehälters (11) oder einer Innenumhüllung (46) bzw. auf einen Zuschnitt für den Packungsbehälter (11) oder die Innenumhüllung (46) oder auf die gefaltete Stirnwand (17) des Packungsbehälters (11) bzw. der Innenumhüllung (46) aufgebracht und nach dem Anbringen der Außenum- hüllung (33) durch Reaktivieren, insbesondere durch Wärme und Druck, mit dieser verbunden wird.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei einer Packung mit durch den Packungsbehälter (11) gebildeter Stirnwand (17) und im Bereich derselben angeordneter Öffnungslasche (39) sowie mit einer Grifflasche (41) der Öffnungslasche (39) Leimflächen (43) im Bereich der Materialbahn für die Fer- tigung der Zuschnitte für den Packungsbehälter (11) aufgebracht wird, vorzugsweise auf einer nicht bedruckten (Innen-) Sei te der Materi albahn.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leimflächen (43; 51, 52) zur Verbindung der Öffnungslasche (39, 47) mit der Außenumhüllung (33) im Bereich der Außenstirnwand (34) beim Siegeln von Faltlappen der Außenstirnwand (34) mittels Wärme und Druck aktiviert werden.
