Definitions
- the invention relates to a veneer splicing machine.
- Grouting paper has long been used to connect veneer strips known. Strips of kraft paper, which are adhesive, serve as the joint paper Have side. Applying the joint paper and connecting the Veneer strips are made in so-called veneer joint gluing machines. The usage of joint paper proves to be disadvantageous, however. Is that Groove paper on the outside of the veneer, it must be applied after the same be removed again. Joint paper applied to the inside of the veneer reduces the bond strength and above all the moisture resistance the gluing.
- veneer splicing machines have been developed that do not require joint paper or glue thread. Usually they have a large table made of metal or wood. The veneer strips to be connected are fed by hand along a stop bar until they are from Feed rollers are recorded and delivered to the further transport system. The Edges of the veneer strips to be joined are either made before assembly spread with glue or the glue is added automatically in the veneer splicing machine. The joint pressure required for gluing is achieved by inclined rollers or wedge-shaped position of the conveyor belts.
- a disadvantage of these machines is that the user has no possibility has to produce veneers that are visible according to a before gluing desired surface image can be put together.
- DE 28 28 901 A1 describes a device for assembling and gluing known from veneer strips with which a plurality of veneer strips can be connected to each other at the same time.
- a loading device serves a sliding delivery table on which the veneer strips in the desired arrangement next to each other.
- the delivery table is in a press device consisting of two press plates and a fixing device in which the veneer strips are connected become.
- the device described is also not suitable for veneer strips small width to connect.
- DE 31 52 554 is a device for gluing panels together known.
- two are controlled by light barriers Conveyor belts positioned the two plates to be connected and against each other pressed. Then under high pressure by a swiveling Glue device with the help of nozzles the glue pressed into the adhesive surface.
- This device is designed in an elaborate manner and allows the veneer to be observed while connecting is hardly possible.
- the problem is solved in that the veneer splicing machine two-part work table with a fixed one and one that can be connected to it sliding table top one arranged above the joint of the table tops lowerable heater, one below the joint of the table tops, opposite the heater, liftable between the table tops Positioning sword, one arranged above the fixed table top Table top acting clamping rail and several on the sliding Table top arranged side by side at an acute angle to this in the direction pressure shoes movable towards the impact.
- the positioning sword is between the two Table tops.
- a veneer strip is placed on each of the two table tops placed so that the edges of the veneer strips pretreated with glue rest on the positioning sword.
- the user can now move them along the positioning sword move parallel to each other until the desired one Surface image can be seen.
- the veneer strips with the Clamping rail and pressure shoes fixed, the positioning sword lowered and the sliding table top moves towards the fixed table top until butt the edges of the veneer strips together.
- the heater is lowered and the one applied to the edges Glue heated with this. After a specified time, the The heater moves back to the starting position, the glue hardens and connects the two veneer strips together.
- the veneer splicing machine according to the invention allows the user to by moving the veneer strips along the positioning sword precisely determine the surface appearance of the veneer. With the invention It is also possible to use narrow width and even veneer strips Connect veneer strips of different lengths and widths together.
- the sliding table top with a first lifting cylinder is to be moved by means of a first piston.
- Pneumatic or also hydraulic lifting cylinders as they are in various embodiments are available. With the lifting cylinder, the sliding Table top exactly in the specified position without any effort from the user be moved.
- the heating device is expedient with the aid of a second lifting cylinder can be lowered using a second piston.
- the heating device preferably has a heating cartridge with an electrical one Resistance element on. With this, the required temperature can be very precisely to adjust.
- the positioning sword preferably comprises a thin one pointing upwards Sheet. This is located between the table tops at the start of the process and protrudes slightly beyond this.
- the veneer strips can be attached to this as they lie close together, can be aligned with each other without any problems.
- the clamping rail is preferably around an axis towards the fixed table top tiltable. This way the pressure they put on the table top Veneer strips exerted, precisely dosed.
- the pressure shoes are each in a guide of a cylinder are arranged adjustable.
- central control with which the individual process steps are coordinated can be so as to simplify the manufacturing process and accelerate. So after inserting and aligning the veneer strips the further process steps are carried out automatically at the push of a button.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic Representation a side view of a veneer splicing machine according to the invention in successive steps.
- the veneer splicing machine according to Figure 1 consists of a two-part Work table 1, a lowerable heater 2, one of the heater opposite positioning sword 3, a clamping rail 4 and more juxtaposed pressure shoes 5, of which only the first one here is shown.
- the work table comprises a fixed table top 6 and a movable one Table top 7.
- the equally shaped thick table tops 6, 7 face each other each have a bevelled edge 8, 9.
- the slidable edge of the sliding table top is 9 opposite Edge attached to one end of a first piston 10, the other End is guided in a first lifting cylinder 11.
- the sliding table top 7 can be so in with the help of the first lifting cylinder 11 by means of the first piston 10 in Move in the direction of arrow 12.
- the heating device 2 is located above the two table tops 6, 7. It consists from a support element 13 which receives a heating cartridge 14. [m range At the lower end of the heating cartridge 14 there is an electrical resistance element 15. With a second one arranged above the heating device 2 Lift cylinder 16 can this by means of a second piston 17 in the direction of Lower arrow 18.
- the positioning sword 3 is opposite the heating device 2 according to the figure 1 arranged between the two table tops 6, 7. It comprises a holding element 19, the upper roof-shaped end corresponding to the beveled Edges 8, 9 of the two table tops 6, 7 is formed. In that upper end sticks a thin stiff sheet 20 vertically upward.
- the positioning sword 3 can be moved over a third piston 22 are moved in the direction of arrow 23.
- the massive clamping rail 4 has a pentagonal cross section. Your length corresponds approximately to the width of the fixed table top 6.
- the clamping rail 4 is rotatably mounted on an axis 24. It has a flat rectangular clamping side 25 on.
- a fourth lifting cylinder 26 which is rotatably mounted about an axis 27 is, the clamping rail 4 by means of a fourth piston 28 around the Tilt axis 24 in the direction of arrow 29 so that the clamping side 25 towards the fixed one Table top 6 is moved.
- the fourth piston 28 is pivotable on the Clamping rail 4 attached. When the fourth piston 28 reciprocates the fourth lifting cylinder 26 rotates about the axis 27.
- the pressure shoe 5 is movable in an elongated cylinder 30 in a guide 31 arranged.
- the cylinder 30 is with a bracket 32 which is a right angle Has kink attached to the sliding table top 7.
- the guide 31 has a circular shape corresponding to that of the pressure shoe 5 Cross section on. At the lower end of the cylinder 30 there is one Opening 33 through which the pressure shoe 5 is displaceable at an acute angle Table top 7 can be moved pneumatically in the direction of arrow 34.
- the blade 20 of the positioning sword 3 is between the two Table tops 6, 7 and protrudes slightly beyond them. Then first the veneer strips 35, 36 placed. Their edges to be joined are already treated with glue. The veneer strips 35, 36 are placed on the table tops that they rest against each other on the sheet 20. Now the user can Align the two veneer strips 35, 36 along the sheet 20 until the desired surface image results ( Figure 1).
- the positioning sword 3 is lowered and the movable table tops 7 moved towards the fixed table top 6 until the edges of the veneer strips 35, 36 abut each other.
- the pressure shoes 5 can then additionally the second veneer strip 36 is pressed against the first veneer strip 35 become. Unevenness in the edges of the veneer strips 35, 36 can thus be compensated for become.
- Heating device 2 lowered until the heating cartridge 14 is immediately above the Joint of the two veneer strips 35, 36 is located.
- the electrical resistance element 15 heats the glue located on the edges of the veneer strips (FIG 3). After the heater 2 moves back to the starting position the glue hardens and connects the two Veneer strips 35, 36.
