Definitions
- the invention relates to a crash lock on a door lock of a vehicle the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a crash lock is one in DE 196 25 392 A1 on the door lock Motor vehicle provided and has a pivot arm of the door handle pivotally mounted locking element on, in the event of an accident-related vehicle impact Swivel sideways outwards in the vehicle transverse direction into a locked position can, in which the locking element an adjustment movement of the door handle in a the door lock opening unlocking position prevented.
- This is in the blocked position Locking element only in a blocking standby position in which the toothing of the blocking element does not interact with the assigned stationary counter-toothing. If the vehicle impact is no longer effective or due to a rebound of the blocking element is displaced from the stop delimiting the blocking position therefore the blocking element quickly in his when the vehicle impact is no longer effective Starting position back, in which the locking element is not effective.
- the crash barrier described in EP-A-0 795 667 is also on the door handle of a motor vehicle and has a pivotable from the door handle Transmission element on which a locking element is pivotally attached, the in the event of a vehicle impact acting on the vehicle in the transverse direction of the vehicle swings outwards into a locked position, in which the door handle does not move into one Door lock opening position can be adjusted.
- the crash barrier also works only in the event of vehicle shocks in the transverse direction of the vehicle. Act accidental vehicle impacts in other directions on the vehicle the crash barrier has no effect.
- the locking element on the door handle cannot have a locking effect cause that then in an unlocking position opening the door lock can adjust.
- the invention has for its object a crash lock on a door lock specify a vehicle with the features in the preamble of claim 1, which more reliably prevents unlocking of the door lock in the event of an accident.
- a manual adjustment movement that opens the door lock is placed on the locking lever carrier transmitted, which thereby pivots about its axis.
- the locking element remains ineffective under the force of a spring.
- accident-related rapid adjustment movement of the door handle or the transmission element in Direction of the unlocking position releasing the door lock causes a quick Rotational movement of the locking lever carrier about its axis, which is caused by the force of the Spring overcoming mass force on the locking element a displacement of the Locking element causes in the locked position, so that the door handle or the transmission element do not move further into the unlocking position releasing the door lock leaves.
- the locking element is independent of the one Accident on the vehicle direction of a vehicle impact effective.
- a transmission element 4 protrudes laterally inwards.
- a toothing 5 is formed on the transmission element 4, via which an adjusting device can be driven by the door lock when it is not locked Operation of the door handle causes the pawl of the door lock to be raised.
- a locking lever carrier parallel to the bottom 7 of the pot 6 8 rotatable about an axis 9, which is formed by a disc, the axis 9 aligned with the central axis of the pot.
- An adjusting rod 10 or a rope, for example a Bowden cable is on the one hand on the transmission element 4 and on the other articulated on the locking lever carrier 8 and causes a manual opening movement the door handle 3 and back twisting the Locking lever support 8 around the axis 9.
- At a radial distance from the axis 9 of the locking lever support 8 are radially symmetrically opposite two pivot axes 11 each formed a locking element 12, 13, each of which as a tension spring trained spring 14, 15 against an associated stop 16, 17 in the illustrated Normal position are loaded, in which the locking elements 12, 13 are not locking Act.
- the springs 14, 15 acting on the locking elements 12, 13 are each on supported free end on the locking lever carrier 8.
- the pot 6, the locking lever carrier 8 and the locking elements 12, 13 pivotably arranged in the pot 6 and the Springs 14, 15 form a structural unit, which can be anywhere on the vehicle door 1 attached or to be attached.
- the locking lever carrier 8 With an initial, accident-related quick Opening movement of the door handle 3 in the direction of unlocking the door lock
- the locking lever carrier 8 is rotated about the axis 9 in the direction of the arrow 18, the locking elements 12, 13 against the spring forces by means of mass force the springs 14, 15 about the relevant pivot axis 11 and 41 on the locking lever carrier 8 swivel radially outwards into a locked position, in each case one Blocking area 19, 20 of the blocking elements 12, 13 at an assigned stationary Support surface 21, which is formed by the cylindrical inner circumference of the pot 6 is.
- Fig. 2 is the through the pot 6, the locking lever bracket 8, the two locking elements 12, 13 and the two springs 14, 15 acting on the locking elements 12, 13 Unit shown enlarged.
- the two locking elements 12, 13 each against the force of the associated spring 14, 15 pivoted into its blocking position, in which the blocking areas 19, 20 of the blocking elements 12, 13 lie approximately flat on the support surface 21.
- the support surface 21 is curved about the axis 9 of the locking lever carrier 8 runs and the locking areas 19, 20 of the locking elements 12, 13 to the curvature the support surface 21 are adapted.
- At the locking elements 12, 13 are in each case a circumferential area facing away from the relevant blocking area 19, 20 Support surface 36, 36 'formed over which the relevant locking element 12, 13 in the locking position on an axis pin 9 forming the locking lever carrier 8 37 supports, whereby the in the locked position on the relevant pivot axis 11, 41 of the locking element 12, 13 acting axle load is reduced.
- the second exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 is formed similarly to the first exemplary embodiment and has parts which are identical or comparable to the first exemplary embodiment and which are provided with the same reference number in order to avoid a repeated description and, if necessary, with a superscript character to distinguish them.
- a locking lever carrier 8 ' which is designed as a disk, can be rotated in a pot 6' about the axis 9 'formed by the central axis of the pot 6'.
- a locking element 12 ' is pivotally attached to the locking lever carrier 8' in a radially symmetrical opposite manner about a pivot axis 11 '.
- the axis 9 'of the locking lever carrier 8' forms an axis of rotation 22 for a rotating mass 23 which can be rotated about the axis of rotation 22 by an end stop 24.
- the end stop 24 is fastened to the locking lever carrier 8 'and passes through an opening 25 in the rotating mass 23 which cooperates with the end stop 24 with its side walls 26, 27 to limit the angle of rotation of the rotating mass 23.
- a spring 14 ' is arranged 1 which loads the locking element 12' into the unlocking position shown, in which the locking element 12 'bears against the rotating mass 23 in the region 30 and loaded against the end stop 24.
- a tooth 31 is formed on the locking element 12 '.
- the cylindrical inner surface of the pot 6 ' is made with a toothing 32 which is curved around the axis 9' of the locking lever carrier 8 '. If the locking lever carrier 8 'is rotated about its axis 9' in the counterclockwise direction in the direction of the arrow 42 during an initial, accident-related, rapid adjustment movement of the door handle or of a transmission element or actuating element connected to or connected to it, the rotating mass 23 of the rapid rotational movement of the locking lever carrier 8 ' do not follow.
- the rotating mass 23 causes a mass force on the locking element 12 'to overcome the force of the spring 14', which thereby moves radially outward to the axis 9 'of the locking lever carrier 8' into a locking position. It can also happen that the locking element 12 'adjusts itself to the locking position automatically in the event of an accident caused by the vehicle or only supported by the rotating mass 23.
- the tooth 31 of the locking element 12 ' engages in the fixed toothing 32 and thereby prevents a further adjustment movement of the door handle or the transmission element or an actuating element connected thereto in an unlocking position which releases the door lock, as a result of which the vehicle door remains closed. If the door handle is returned to its starting position by the force of a spring acting on it and / or on the locking lever carrier 8 ', the locking elements 12' also reach the starting position shown.
- Fig. 4 shows a third embodiment
- the two first embodiments is of similar design and comparable with these exemplary embodiments Has parts.
- the same or comparable parts with the same reference number and, if applicable, for Mark the distinction with a superscript character.
- the locking lever bracket 8 '' formed with two arms and supports on its leg facing away from region 34 a locking element 12 '' pivotable about a pivot axis 11 ''.
- the locking element 12 ′′ is against a by a spring 14 ′′ supported on the locking lever carrier 8 ′′ Stop 16 '' on the locking lever carrier 8 '' loaded in the unlocking position shown.
- the locking lever carrier 8 '' is proportionate slowly pivoted about the axis 9 '', so that the locking element 12 '' remains in contact with the stop 16 '' under the force of the spring 14 ''.
- the locking lever bracket swivels 8 '' so fast about the axis 9 '' that the locking element 12 '' by mass force automatically against the force of the spring 14 '' in the direction of arrow 35 around the Swivel axis 11 '' radially to the axis 9 '' of the locking lever carrier 8 '' outwards into the Locked position pivots in which a locking area formed on the locking element 12 ′′ 19 '' comes into contact with a stationary support surface 21 '' and thereby another Relocation of the door handle or the transmission or actuating element in prevents an unlocking position releasing the door lock.
- FIG. 5 shows the crash lock shown in FIG. 4 in its locked position, wherein the locking lever carrier 8 '' in the direction of the arrow 33 and the locking element 12 '' in the direction of the arrow 35 are pivoted in the opposite direction.
- the fixed Support surface 21 '' curved around the axis 9 '' of the locking lever carrier 8 '' and the blocking area 19 ′′ of the blocking element 12 ′′ to the curvature of the support surface 21 '' is adapted and in the blocking position lies flat against the support surface 21 ''.
- Fig. 6 illustrates that the crash barrier shown in Fig. 4 is not only one rapid adjustment movement of the door handle or an associated or in Connected transmission element or actuator by pivoting of the locking lever carrier 8 '' can get into the locking position. It is the same possible that the locking element 12 '' in the event of an accident-related vehicle impact exclusively by its inertial force in the direction of arrow 35 in the blocking position shown can pivot.
- the pivot axis 11 '' can for example on the Locking lever carrier 8 "and the mass of the locking element 12" for Pivot axis 11 '' can be arranged so that the locking element 12 '' in one predetermined direction, for example in the transverse direction of the vehicle due to an accident Vehicle impact automatically arrives in the blocking position shown.
- the crash barrier has two largely independent ones Locking options on.
- FIGS. 7 to 9 The fourth embodiment described in FIGS. 7 to 9 is similar to that 4 to 6 embodiment shown.
- the Arrows 38 shown in FIGS. 7 to 9 indicate the direction of actuation of the Lock lever carrier 8 '' 'and the pivoting direction of the locking element 12' 'in the Blocked position. 7, the locking element 12 '' is located on the locking lever carrier 8 '' ' trained stop 16 '' '.
- the locking element 12 '' 'in the direction of arrow 39 is opposite to that in In the direction of arrow 38 pivoted locking lever carrier 12 '' 'in the illustrated Locked position pivoted in which the support surface 36 '' 'to relieve the Swivel axis 11 '' 'rests on the outer circumference of the axle pin 37' ''.
- the Blocking area 19 '' 'of the blocking element 12' '' lies flat on the stationary one Support surface 21 '' '.
- the locking element 12 ′′ ′′ can move through in the vehicle transverse direction Accident caused by the vehicle impact without a pivotal movement of the locking lever carrier 8 '' 'automatically by mass force in Adjust the arrow direction 39 to the locked position shown, in which the door handle is not can be adjusted in an unlocking position opening the door lock.
- the invention can be implemented differently from the exemplary embodiments.
- the design of the locking lever carrier and the locking lever is largely left to the specialist.
- the restricted area of the blocking element and the fixed one Support surface can be in different ways, for example as a friction or Clamping surface formed or with a toothing with at least one tooth be provided.
- the crash lock can be used as a structural unit near the door handle or arrange away from it.
- the locking element in question in the unlocked position loading spring can be used in different ways as a compression spring, tension spring, Leaf spring, leg spring or the like may be formed.
- the Support surface of the locking element can also be omitted or in the locked position of the Locking element on a remote from the axis of the locking lever carrier Support the support element on the locking lever carrier, whereby, for example, a large distance between the axis of the pivot lever bracket and the Blocking area of the blocking element can be realized.
