Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verschlußkappe zum Abdecken der
Schreibspitze eines Handschreibgeräts, insbesondere eines
Füllhalters, mit einer Kappenhülse und einem auf der Außenseite
der Kappenhülse angeordneten Clip, der mit einem
Befestigungsende in eine Öffnung in der Kappenhülse eingesetzt
ist und aus einem thermoplastischen Hartkunststoff
besteht.
Verschlußkappen der angegebenen Art sind aus den Druckschriften
DE 81 00 647 U1, DE 88 11 733 U1 und
DE 44 07 153 A1 bekannt. Bei derartigen Verschlußkappen
besteht das Problem, daß der Spalt zwischen dem Befestigungsende
des Clips und dem Rand der das Befestigungsende
aufnehmenden Öffnung in der Kappenhülse von außen zumindest
teilweise sichtbar ist, so daß die den Spalt begrenzenden
Flächen und Kanten sehr sauber gefertigt sein müssen, damit
das Aussehen der Verschlußkappe nicht durch unregelmäßige
Spaltränder beeinträchtigt wird. Auch die Breite des Spalts
sollte auf allen Seiten möglichst klein sein, damit sich
dort kein Schmutz anlagern kann. Dies erfordert höhere
Genauigkeit bei der Herstellung und damit entsprechend
höhere Herstellkosten.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Verschlußkappe
der angegebenen Art derart weiterzubilden, daß ein
ansprechendes Aussehen mit geringem Herstell- und Montageaufwand
erreichbar ist.
Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das
Befestigungsende des Clip mit einem Überzug aus einem thermoplastischen
Weichkunststoff, insbesondere einem thermoplastischen
Elastomer versehen ist, wobei der Überzug einen
an der Außenseite der Kappenhülse anliegenden Kragen bildet,
der den Randbereich der Öffnung zur Aufnahme des Befestigungsendes
des Clips überdeckt.
Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Verschlußkappe ist der Spalt zwischen
dem Befestigungsende des Clip und dem Rand der Öffnung
in der Kappenhülse von außen nicht sichtbar, so daß
die Anforderungen an die Sauberkeit und Herstellgenauigkeit
der den Spalt begrenzenden Flächen und Kanten gering sind.
Der Spalt ist zudem durch den ihn abdeckenden Kragen verschlossen,
so, daß sich dort auch kein Schmutz absetzen
kann. Aufgrund seiner Elastizität kann der Kragen zusätzlich
dazu beitragen, die Befestigung des Clips an der Kappenhülse
spielfrei zu halten.
Die Herstellung des Überzugs und des Kragens kann erfindungsgemäß
auf besonders einfache Weise dadurch erfolgen,
daß der Überzug und der Kragen durch Spritzgießen an den in
der Gießform befindlichen Clip angeformt wird. Kragen und
Überzug eröffnen dem Fachmann zudem die Möglichkeit ohne
Änderung der Kappenhülse die das Aussehen bestimmende Formgestalt
der Kappe zu variieren.
Nach einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann vorgesehen
sein, daß der Überzug den Biegestab des Clip ganz
oder teilweise bedeckt. Hierdurch kann das Biegeverhalten
des Clip vorteilhaft beeinflußt und eine Rißbildung an der
Oberfläche der einer Biegebeanspruchung unterworfenen Zonen
des aus Hartkunststoff bestehenden Clipstabs vermieden werden.
Weiterhin kann der Überzug im Falle eines Bruchs des
Clips die Gefahr einer Verletzung verringern. Erstreckt
sich der Überzug bis zum freien Ende des Clip, so kann
erfindungsgemäß weiterhin vorgesehen sein, daß ein am
freien Ende des Clip vorgesehener, an der Kappenhülse
anliegender Vorsprung von dem Überzug gebildet wird. Hierbei
bewirkt der vergleichsweise hohe Reibwert des
Weichkunststoffs, aus dem der Vorsprung besteht, eine bessere
Haftung des Clip beim Anklemmen, beispielsweise an
Kleidungsstücken. Weiterhin wird die Bildung eines
Anschlaggeräuschs beim Anschlagen des Vorsprungs an die
Kappenhülse vermieden.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels
näher erläutert, das in der Zeichnung dargestellt
ist . Es zeigen

Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Verschlußkappe für einen
Füllhalter besteht aus einer äußeren, annähernd zylindrischen
Kappenhülse 1, die aus einem Hartkunststoff, beispielsweise
ABS besteht und in ihrer Mantelfläche eine
durchgehende, rechteckige Öffnung 2 aufweist. Im Bereich
der Öffnung 2 befindet sich in der Bohrung 3 der Kappenhülse
1 eine Querwand 4 mit einer zentralen Bohrung 5. Ein
Clip 6, der auf der Außenseite der Kappenhülse 1 angeordnet
ist, ist mit seinem Befestigungsende 7 in die Öffnung 2
eingesetzt. Zur Befestigung des Clip 6 ist an dem Befestigungsende
7 eine Lasche 8 ausgebildet, die in die Bohrung 3
der Kappenhülse 1 hineinragt und an der Querwand 4 anliegt.
Die Lasche 8 ist mit der Querwand 4 durch einen nach Art
eines Hohlniets ausgebildeten Zapfen 9 verbunden, der am
geschlossenen Ende einer in die Bohrung 3 eingesetzten
Innenkappe 10 ausgebildet ist und die Bohrung 5 und eine
mit dieser fluchtende Bohrung 11 in der Lasche 8 durchgreift.
Gegen Lösen ist der Zapfen 9 durch einen in seine
Bohrung eingedrückten Zapfen 12 gesichert, der an einem das
eine Kappenende verschließenden Kappenkopf 13 ausgebildet
ist. Der Clip 6 ist außerdem an der Kappenhülse 1 durch
zwei parallele Finger 19 gehalten, die auf der dem Biegestab
14 zugewandten Seite an das Befestigungsende 7 angeformt
sind. Die Finger 19 erstrecken sich in der Öffnung 2
in deren Längsrichtung und liegen an den einander gegenüberliegenden
Seitenflächen 20 der Öffnung 2 an. Auf der
Innenseite der Kappenhülse 1 umgreifen die Finger 19
jeweils mit einer vorspringenden Rippe 21 die von den Seitenflächen
20 und der Bohrung 3 gebildete Längskante der
Öffnung 2. Die Finger 19 bilden somit eine zusätzliche Verankerung,
die die beim Hochbiegen des Biegestabs 14 auf das
Befestigungsende 7 einwirkenden, radial nach außen gerichteten
Kräfte auf die Kappenhülse 1 überträgt. Die Finger 19
sind soweit elastisch verformbar, daß der Clip 6 bei der
Montage durch radiales Hineindrücken in die Öffnung 2 in
die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Befestigungslage gebracht
werden kann.
Das Befestigungsende 7 mit der Lasche 8 und der Biegestab
14 des Clip 6 sind einteilig aus einem thermoplastischen
Hartkunststoff, beispielsweise ABS hergestellt. Der außerhalb
der Kappenhülse 1 befindliche Teil des Befestigungsendes
7 ist mit einem Überzug 15 aus einem Weichkunststoff,
beispielsweise einem thermoplastischen Elastomer versehen.
Der Überzug 15 bildet einen Kragen 16, der größer ist als
die Öffnung 2 in der Kappenhülse 1 und die Ränder der Öffnung
2 vollständig abdeckt. Der Rand des Kragens 16 hat
eine elliptische Form und liegt allseits fest an der Kappenhülse
1 an. Auf der Oberseite des Befestigungsendes 7
ist der Überzug 15 verdickt und keilförmig bis etwa zur
Mitte des Biegestabs 14 verlängert. Hierdurch wird der Biegestab
14 verstärkt und das Biegeverhalten verbessert. Der
Überzug 15 erstreckt sich auch in den Zwischenraum zwischen
den Fingern 19 und trägt durch seine Elastizität zu einer
festen Anlage der Finger 19 an den Seitenflächen 20 bei.
Auf der der Kappenhülse zugekehrten Unterseite des Biegestabs
14 verläuft ein Streifen 17 des Überzugs 15 bis zum
Ende des Biegestabs 14 und geht dort in eine ballige Kuppe
18 über, die auf der Innenseite an den Biegestab 14 angeformt
ist und mit ihrer balligen Oberfläche an der Kappenhülse
anliegt. Der Streifen 17 verläuft in einer auf der
Innenseite des Biegestabs 14 ausgebildeten Nut. Überzug 15,
Kragen 16, Streifen 17 und Kuppe 18 werden durch Spritzgießen
an den aus Hartkunststoff bestehenden Teil des Clip 6
angeformt, wobei eine innige, adhäsive Verbindung mit dem
aus Hartkunststoff bestehenden Teil entsteht.
Claims (6)
- Verschlußkappe zum Abdecken der Schreibspitze eines Handschreibgeräts, insbesondere eines Füllhalters, mit einer Kappenhülse und einem auf der Außenseite der Kappenhülse angeordneten Clip, der mit einem Befestigungsende in eine Öffnung in der Kappenhülse eingesetzt ist und aus einem thermoplastischen Hartkunststoff besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Befestigungsende (7) des Clip (6) mit einem Überzug (15) aus einem thermoplastischen Weichkunststoff, insbesondere einem thermoplastischen Elastomer versehen ist, wobei der Überzug (15) einen an der Außenseite der Kappenhülse (1) anliegenden Kragen (16) bildet, der den Randbereich der Öffnung (2) zur Aufnahme des Befestigungsendes (7) des Clips (6) überdeckt.
- Verschlußkappe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Überzug mit dem Kragen (16) durch Spritzgießen an den in der Gießform befindlichen Clip angeformt wird.
- Verschlußkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Überzug (15) den Biegestab (14) des Clip (6) ganz oder teilweise bedeckt.
- Verschlußkappe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Überzug (15) sich bis zum freien Ende des Clip (6) erstreckt und daß ein am freien Ende des Clip (6) vorgesehener, an der Kappenhülse anliegender Vorsprung (18) von dem Überzug (15) gebildet wird.
- Verschlußkappe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Streifen (17) des Überzugs (15) sich in einer Nut auf der Innenseite des Biegestabs (14) von dem Befestigungsende (7) bis zu dem Vorsprung (18) erstreckt.
- Verschlußkappe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Befestigungsende (7) des Clip (6) zwei parallele Finger (19) aufweist, die in die Öffnungen (2) eingreifen und daß der Überzug (15) sich in den Zwischenraum zwischen den Fingern (19) hinein erstreckt.
