Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen zum Einbau in den Spülrand von Klosetts oder Urinalen bestimmten Spülwasserverteiler mit einem mit einem Anschlußstutzen für die Wasserzufuhr versehenen Gehäuse, das sowohl an seinen beiden, tangential im Spülrand mündenden Enden als auch an seiner Unterseite mit Wasseraustrittsöffnungen versehen ist.
Derartige, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff hergestellte Spülwasserverteiler sind bekannt, siehe zum Beispiel DE-A-16 58 261. Sie werden in den Spülrand von aus Keramik hergestellten Klosetts oder Urinalen eingebaut, um bei gleichzeitig verringerter Spülwassermenge eine zuverlässige Spülung des Klosetts bzw. Urinals zu gewährleisten und eine ganzflächige Spülung und damit Sauberhaltung des Klosett- bzw. Urinalbeckens sicherzustellen. Der Anschluß des Spülwasserverteilers erfolgt hierbei über seinen an der Rückwand des Gehäuses ausgebildeten Anschlußstutzen, der in den Spülwasseranschluß des Klosetts bzw. Urinals hineinragt und hier mit dem Wasserzulauf abgedichtet verbunden, vorzugsweise verschraubt wird.
Insbesondere bei im öffentlichen Bereich aufgestellten Klosetts und Urinalen ist es weiterhin bekannt, dem Spülwasser zwecks Verbesserung der Reinigungswirkung, der Desinfektion und/oder der Geruchsverbesserung einen Zusatz beizufugen. Hierbei ist es bekannt, diese Zusatzstoffe dem in einem Spülkasten befindlichen Wasser zuzuführen. Da bei in einer Wand angeordneten Spülkästen eine solche Spülzusatzzufuhr äußerst aufwendig ist, erfolgt die Zugabe des Spülwasserzusatzes üblicherweise durch Geräte, die in den Spülrand des Klosetts oder Urinals eingehängt werden. Das in diesen Geräten befindliche Zusatzmittel wird durch das im Spülrand strömende Spülwasser aus der mit Durchbrechungen versehenen Wand des Gerätes bei jedem Spülvorgang mit einer in etwa vorherbestimmbaren Menge herausgespült.
Diese in den Spülrand von Klosetts oder Urinalen einzuhängenden Geräte haben nicht nur den Nachteil, daß sie die Spülwasserverteilung im Klosett- bzw. Urinalbecken nachteilig beeinflussen, sondern daß sie außerdem einer Verschmutzung unterliegen, die insbesondere bei öffentlich aufgestellten Klosetts oder Urinalen zu erheblichen Nachteilen führt.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine dosierte Zugabe eines Spülwasserzusatzes für Klosetts und Urinale zu schaffen, die weder einer Verschmutzungsgefahr unterliegt, noch die gleichmäßige Verteilung des Spülwassers für eine ganzflächige Reinigung des Klosett- bzw. Urinalbeckens behindert.
Ausgehend von einem bekannten Spülwasserverteiler der eingangs beschriebenen Art ist die Lösung dieser Aufgabenstellung durch die Erfindung gekennzeichnet durch einen mit dem Gehäuse des Spülwasserverteilers verbundenen Tank zur Aufnahme des Spülwasserzusatzes, der über mindestens eine Wassereintrittsöffnung und mindestens eine Austrittsöffnung mit dem Gehäuseinneren verbunden ist.
Durch die Verbindung des den Spülwasserzusatz aufnehmenden Tanks mit dem Gehäuse des Spülwasserverteilers erfolgt eine vor Verschmutzungen geschützte Unterbringung im Bereich des Spülrandes, wobei die Zuordnung des Tanks zum Spülwasserverteiler jeglichen negativen Einfluß auf die gleichmäßige Verteilung des Spülwassers vermeidet. Durch die auf die Viskosität des jeweiligen Spülwasserzusatzes abgestimmte Kalibrierung der Wassereintrittsöffnung und das Vorhandensein mindestens einer Austrittsöffnung erfolgt bei jedem Spülvorgang eine dosierte Mitnahme des Spülwasserzusatzes aus dem Tank, so daß nicht nur eine ganzflächige Reinigung des Klosett- bzw. Urinalbeckens gewährleistet ist, sondern auch eine gleichmäßige Benetzung dieses Beckens mit dem jeweils verwendeten Spülwasserzusatz.
Gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung ist der Tank im wesentlichen unterhalb des Gehäuses des Spülwasserverteilers angeordnet. Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist der Tank zu beiden Seiten des zentral angeordneten Anschlußstutzens sowie unterhalb des Gehäuses mit einem die unteren Wasseraustrittsöffnungen freigebenden Abstand von der äußeren Wand des Spülrandes angeordnet, so daß eine gleichmäßige und vollflächige Reinigung des Klosett- bzw. Urinalbeckens nicht behindert wird.
Um eine einfache und hygienische Befüllung des Tanks zu ermöglichen, ist der Tank gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung mit einem vorzugsweise an der Oberseite des Klosetts oder Urinals mündenden Füllrohr versehen, das vorzugsweise durch einen Stopfen verschließbar ist. Dieses Füllrohr wird erfindungsgemäß durch das Gehäuse hindurchgeführt. Die den Tank mit dem Gehäuseinneren verbindende Öffnung kann in diesem Fall im Füllrohr ausgebildet werden.
Sofern das Füllrohr mittig im Bereich des Anschlußstutzens durch das Gehäuse hindurchgeführt wird, liegt seine durch den Stopfen verschließbare Füllöffnung bei einem Klosett zwischen den Sitzscharnieren und ist somit nach Hochklappen des WC-Sitzes gut zugänglich.
Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist der Tank über mindestens zwei Austrittsöffnungen mit dem Inneren des Gehäuses verbunden, die im Bereich der Enden des Gehäuses angeordnet sind, so daß der Spülwasserzusatz gleichmäßig den beiden Wasserströmen zugegeben wird, die den Spülwasserverteiler an seinen in den Spülrand mündenden Enden verlassen.
Um eine preisgünstige Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Spülwasserverteilers mit Tank zu ermöglichen, wird mit der Erfindung schließlich vorgeschlagen, den Tank einstückig mit dem Gehäuse aus Kunststoff herzustellen.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Spülwasserverteilers dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:

Der in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Spülwasserverteiler wird in den Spülrand eines aus sanitärkeramischen Material hergestellten Klosetts eingebaut, das zum Teil strichpunktiert in Fig. 1 angedeutet ist. Wegen dieses Einbau in den Spülrand des Klosetts hat das Gehäuse 1 eine bogenförmige Gestalt, wie die Unteransicht in Fig. 2 verdeutlicht. Das Gehäuse 1 ist mit einem Anschlußstutzen 2 versehen, mit dessen Hilfe es an den Wasserzulauf des Klosetts angeschlossen wird. An den tangential im Spülrand des Klosetts mündenden Enden sind Austrittsöffnungen 3 ausgebildet, die das Spülwasser in den vorderen Teil des Spülrandes des Klosettbeckens führen. Auch an der Unterseite ist das Gehäuse 1 mit Austrittsöffnungen 4 für das Spülwasser versehen, wobei der mittlere Teil des Gehäuses 1 - wie Fig. 1 zeigt - tiefer verläuft als die beiden sich seitlich anschließenden Teile.
Unterhalb des Gehäuses 1 ist ein Tank 5 angeordnet, der über eine Wassereintrittsöffnung 6 und zwei Austrittsöffnungen 7 mit dem Inneren des Gehäuses 1 in Verbindung steht. Wie Fig. 2 erkennen läßt, verläuft der unterhalb des Gehäuses 1 angeordnete Tank 5 mit einem solchen Abstand von der Außenwand des Spülrandes, daß der Austritt des Spülwassers aus den Austrittsöffnungen 4 nicht behindert wird.
Die Befüllung des Tanks 5 erfolgt über ein Füllrohr 8, das geringfügig über dem Boden des Tanks 5 mündet, wie Fig. 1 erkennen läßt. Im Bereich dieses Füllrohres 8 ist auch die Wassereintrittsöffnung 6 angeordnet. Das obere Ende des Füllrohres 8 ist durch einen entfernbaren Stopfen 9 verschlossen.
Wie die Fig. 1 erkennen läßt, befindet sich die durch den Stopfen 9 verschlossene Öffnung des Füllrohres 8 an der Oberseite des Klosetts, und zwar im Bereich zwischen den Scharnieren des nicht dargestellten Klosettsitzes. Ein Befüllen des Tanks 5 ist somit problemlos und auf hygienische Weise möglich.
Bei jedem Spülvorgang bewirkt das durch die Wassereintrittsöffnung 6 aus dem Inneren des Gehäuses 1 in den Tank 5 eintretende Wasser, daß ein Teil des Spülwasserzusatzes durch die Austrittsöffnungen 7 ausgetragen und dem Spülwasser zugemischt wird, welches die Austrittsöffnungen 3 des Spülwasserverteilers verläßt. Da der Tank 5 unterhalb des Gehäuses 1 und derart angeordnet ist, daß er die an der Unterseite des Gehäuses 1 ausgebildeten Austrittsöffnungen 4 nicht verschließt, erfolgt durch den Tank keine negative Beeinflussung der großflächigen Spülung des Klosettbeckens. Außerdem liegt der Tank 5 gegen Verschmutzungen geschützt innerhalb des Spülrandes des Klosetts, wie wiederum Fig. 1 zeigt.
Der als Ausführungsbeispiel in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Spülwasserverteiler ist für stehende und wandhängende Klosetts ebenso geeignet wie für Urinale.

Claims (10)

  1. Spülwasserverteiler zum Einbau in den Spülrand von Klosetts oder Urinalen mit einem mit einem Anschlußstutzen (2) für die Wasserzufuhr versehenen Gehäuse (1), das sowohl an seinen beiden, tangential im Spülrand mündenden Enden als auch an seiner Unterseite mit Wasseraustrittsöffnungen (3) bzw. (4) versehen ist,
    gekennzeichnet durch
    einen mit dem Gehäuse (1) verbundenen Tank (5) zur Aufnahme eines Spülwasserzusatzes, der über mindestens eine Wassereintrittsöffnung (6) und mindestens eine Austrittsöffnung (7) mit dem Gehäuseinneren verbunden ist.
  2. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tank (5) im wesentlichen unterhalb des Gehäuses (1) angeordnet ist.
  3. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tank (5) zu beiden Seiten des zentral angeordneten Anschlußstutzens (2) sowie unterhalb des Gehäuses (1) mit einem die unteren Wasseraustrittsöffnungen (4) freigebenden Abstand von der äußeren Wand des Spülrandes angeordnet ist.
  4. Spülwasserverteiler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tank (5) mit einem vorzugsweise an der Oberseite des Klosetts oder Urinals mündenden Füllrohr (8) versehen ist.
  5. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllrohr (8) durch einen Stopfen (9) verschließbar ist.
  6. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllrohr (8) durch das Gehäuse (1) hindurchgeführt ist.
  7. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die den Tank (5) mit dem Gehäuseinneren verbindende Wassereintrittsöffnung (6) im Füllrohr (8) ausgebildet ist.
  8. Spülwasserverteiler nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllrohr (8) mittig im Bereich des Anschlußstutzens (2) durch das Gehäuse hindurchgeführt ist.
  9. Spülwasserverteiler nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tank (5) über mindestens zwei Austrittsöffnungen (7) mit dem Inneren des Gehäuses (1) verbunden ist, die im Bereich der Enden des Gehäuses (1) angeordnet sind.
  10. Spülwasserverteiler nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tank (5) einstückig mit dem Gehäuse (1) aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist.
