Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren angegeben zur Übermittlung des von einem Zählpunkt (ZP1...ZP3) ermittelten Zählerstands an eine zentrale Auswerteeinrichtung (AWE), die sich beispielsweise in einem Stellwerk befindet. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß die Übermittlung über ein auf Vermittlung beruhendes Kommunikationsnetz erfolgt. Vorzugsweise handelt es sich dabei um ein Mobilfunknetz (MSC, BTS). Der Zählpunkt wählt sich erst dann in das Kommunikationsnetz ein, wenn nach dem letzten registrierten Achsdurchgang eine festgelegte Zeitspanne verstrichen ist. Damit wird erreicht, daß eine Verbindung erst aufgebaut wird, wenn ein registrierter Zug den Zählpunkt bereits passiert hat. Da ein Zählerstand und nicht Zählimpulse übermittelt werden, braucht die Verbindung nur sehr kurz Zeit aufrecht erhalten zu werden.
Vorteile:
  • Keine eigene Verkabelung über Standleitungen erforderlich,
  • Geringe Verbindungskosten aufgrund der kurzen Verbindungsdauer.
