Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Umformen eines Werkstücks durch Drückwalzen, insbesondere zum Herstellen einer Innenverzahnung an dem Werkstück, bei dem eine topfförmige Vorform axial gegen ein Werkzeugfutter gespannt und mittels mindestens einem Wälzkörper an das Werkzeugfutter angedrückt wird und die Vorform relativ zu dem Wälzkörper rotiert, wobei der zumindest eine Wälzkörper zu Beginn der Umformung am offenen Ende der Vorform gegen ihren Zylinderwandbereich angedrückt wird und in axialer Relativbewegung über den Zylinderwandbereich zum Boden der Vorform hin in Umformkontakt geführt wird.
