Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apparatus for processing flexible, flat products with a feeder for feeding the Products to a takeover area of an intermediate conveyor, the one Number arranged one after the other, along one through the takeover area and orbit passing through a transfer area has moving elements in the direction of rotation and the position the successive conveying elements fed in the takeover area Products changed so that the order of the products is retained and the facing sides of the products are changed become.
- a device of this type is in the older DE patent application DE-A-19306 202. Grind the conveyor elements designed as grippers the products they hold around the subsequent gripper from one side of this gripper to the other, which with great processing power high gripping forces and the products required considerably stressed.
- the separating device has one Rotary feeder on which a stationary feeder magazine for recording a stack of paper sheets to be separated is assigned.
- the rotary feeder has cage-like arranged on axially mounted disks and hollow shafts driven against the direction of rotation of the disks on.
- suction cups On both sides of the drum discs there are suction cups that protrude radially on the hollow shaft, their suction heads aligned with the recesses of the drum disks.
- the guide belt wraps around the middle drum pulley on each hollow shaft about half the circumference and is between the neighboring ones Hollow shafts guided around a pulley mounted on the disks.
- the Drum discs and in the circumferential direction of the rotary feeder between these arranged guide rollers serve as a support for the in the magazine arranged stack.
- the rotary feeder rotates, the under Vacuum applied to the stack of incoming suction cups, so that the grab the bottom sheet when folding.
- the drum disks on the seized sheet and the suction cups keep the fold between the middle drum disc and the guide band is clamped.
- the bow will then held in contact with the drum discs by the guide belt, taken from the stack while peeling and then at a transfer point with the help of the deflection rollers over the circumference of the rotary feeder with the fold ahead into a gripper of a conveyor introduced.
- the device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has one in the feed direction Z driven, designed as a belt conveyor 10 feed conveyor 12. He is intended to be used in a scale stream S, flexible, flat Products 14, in the present case printed products such as newspapers, Magazines or the like, one at the downstream end of the belt conveyor 10 arranged takeover area 16 of an intermediate conveyor 18 feed. In the shingled stream S each product 14 is included leading edge 14 '- in the present case the fold - on the following Product 14 on. The facing sides of the overlapping Products 14 are designated 20 and 20 '.
- a weight roller acts with the active strand 10 'of the belt conveyor 10 22 together; they are intended to be viewed in the feed direction Z. foremost product 14 of the shingled stream S into an insertion gap 24 to introduce a conveyor element 26 of the intermediate conveyor 18.
- the intermediate conveyor 18 has a rotating on a machine frame 28 and stationary axis 30 on which a hollow shaft 32 freely is rotatably mounted. At each of its two ends there is a circular disc End shield 34, 36 attached, the left in Fig. 2 bearing plate 34 shown from a connected to a drive motor Toothed belt 38 for driving the intermediate conveyor 18 is gripped.
- each shaft 40 On the over the end area protruding from the end shield 36 shown on the right in FIG. 2 each shaft 40 has a gear 42 wedged with an am End shield 36 meshes freely rotatably mounted intermediate gear 44, which in turn with a center wheel fixed on the fixed axle 30 46 combs, which is the same size as the gear 42.
- gears 42, 44, 46 form a planetary gear-like control device 48, to turn the bearing plates 34, 36 in the direction of rotation U about the axis 30 to hold the shafts 40 in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to the machine frame 28.
- a conveying element 26 is arranged on each of these shafts 40 is determined, a supplied product 14 in the takeover area 16 take over this along a circular orbit in the present case 49, to be transported in the direction of rotation U and in a transfer area 50 to a conveyor 52 designed as a gripper conveyor 52 ' to hand over.
- Each conveyor element 26 has two roller segments 54, which are freely rotatably mounted on the shaft 40 in question and whose roller segment axes 54 ′ coincide with the longitudinal axis of the shaft 40.
- a counter element 58 designed as a ribbon conveyor 56 is assigned to each roller segment 54.
- the two ribbon conveyors 56 of a conveying element 26 are each guided around a deflection shaft 60, 60 'at each end, which are in turn freely rotatably mounted on approximately triangular support plates 62 which are wedged onto the shaft 40. This and thus the conveyor elements 26 maintain a parallel position when the bearing plates 34, 36 are rotated.
- a drive arrangement 64 drives the roller segments 54 in the direction of rotation D against the direction of rotation U of the end shields 34, 36.
- the drive arrangement 64 drives the ribbon conveyors 56 in the opposite direction of rotation with the same circumferential speed v 2 as the roller segments 54. This speed v 2 is coordinated with respect to the conveying speed v 1 of the feed conveyor 12.
- the drive arrangement 64 has a freely rotatably mounted on the end plate 34 and this penetrating hollow shaft stub 66 on which a drive wheel with respect to the end shield 34 on the outer side 68 and the inner side of a gear 70 are non-rotatably.
