Definitions
- the present invention relates to a burner for solid fuels, especially for Wood pellets, with a burner pot into which the fuel is fed from above, whereby openings for supplying primary air and secondary air are provided in the burner.
- Furnaces for lumpy solid fuels such as wood pellets, are often designed to that within a gas-tight combustion chamber, with the exception of a flue gas outlet a pot-shaped burner is arranged. In this burner pot are essentially continuously feed and burn the pieces of fuel. Trades in wood pellets it is pressed sawdust or the like, which is in a piece size of a few millimeters available. Usual pellets have a diameter of 6 mm or 9 mm and a length of about 25 mm.
- furnaces that can be operated with renewable raw materials are becoming increasingly important. In connection with such furnaces, however, there are still a number of technical problems to be solved.
- the burner pot is relatively small due to the continuous supply of the fuel. Therefore even comparatively small amounts of ash affect the Combustion process and to deteriorate the ignition behavior.
- the arrangement of a Rust on the underside of the burner pot would in itself cause ash to fall through allow, but in such a case it is not a controlled operation of the burner possible because there is an uncontrolled movement of air through the burner pot would, which makes an optimally guided combustion process impossible.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a burner of the type described above to further develop that stable operation is possible and that the ashes produced are controlled Way can be collected and disposed of.
- the burner goes down a plate is closed, which has downward openings through closure elements are closable, and that a motorized opening device is provided, which actuates the closure elements.
- a motorized opening device is provided, which actuates the closure elements.
- they are downward openings closed at the bottom of the burner pot. If based on the operating time, the amount of fuel supplied or the like. It is determined that There could be an amount of ash in the burner pot, which would impair the operation leads, the corresponding closure elements are actuated to release the openings. As a result, the ash that has accumulated in the burner pot can fall out downwards.
- a corresponding ash container is provided under the burner pot is to be emptied at longer intervals. As compared to the openings for the discharge of ash are only open for a short time during the total operating time, there are no noteworthy ones Impairment of burner operation instead.
- the bottom of the burner another plate lies flat and that the two plates against each other are movable.
- the upper plate forms a closure element for the Openings in the lower plate. In this way it becomes mechanically simple and reliable working solution achieved.
- Another particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that in the Plate in the central region a recess is formed through which a mandrel for feeding Primary air protrudes into the burner pot. It is beneficial if the mandrel for distribution of fuel is increased, preferably its height at least half the height of the burner pot.
- the centrally arranged mandrel makes one special Even distribution of primary air and pellets is achieved, creating a more even Burning is guaranteed.
- this method is characterized in that ash is discharged by periodically opening openings on the underside of the burner pot.
- the burner consists of a burner pot 1, which has a substantially cylindrical wall 2.
- the wall 2 has an outward extension 2a at the top.
- the pot 1 is up open to the insertion of wood pellets by a fuel supply device, not shown to enable.
- the burner pot 1 is closed by a plate 3, has the openings 4 and 5.
- the arrangement of the openings 4 and 5 of the plate 3 can be seen in FIG.
- the openings 4 are designed as elongated holes and symmetrical to the center point at equal angular intervals M of the plate arranged. Radially outside each opening 4 is a circular one Opening 5 provided. Furthermore, the plate 3 has a central recess 6.
- a sheath 7 is provided radially outside the wall 2, which together with the Wall 2 forms an annular space 8. From this annular space 8 can secondary air through secondary air openings 9 are blown into the interior of the burner pot 1.
- the secondary air openings 9 are arranged one above the other in two rows in the upper region of the side wall 2.
- a secondary air line 10 opens into the annular space 8 to the secondary air in the annular space 8 to bring.
- a frustoconical inner wall 11 is provided in the lower region of the burner pot 1, through which the burner pot 1 is tapered downwards.
- a mandrel 12 centrally from below into burner pot 1, the height h of which is approximately 60% accounts for the total height H of the burner pot 1.
- the fuel supply is adjusted so that the fuel pellets hit the mandrel 12 and so evenly inside the Burner pot 1 can be distributed.
- the interior 13 of the mandrel 12 is via a primary air line 14 supplied with combustion air. This primary air is through openings 15 in the mandrel 12 evenly introduced into the lower region of the burner pot 1.
- Centric within The primary air line 14 is arranged a pilot air line 16 which is the one of a not shown Hot air source heated ignition air to start the burner through openings 15 in brings the inside of the burner pot 1.
- a further plate 19 is arranged on the plate 3 and is provided with openings 20, 21. which essentially correspond in shape and arrangement to the openings 4 and 5 of the plate 3.
- the further plate 19 is rotatable relative to the fixed plate 3, namely so that in a position of the further plate 19, the openings 20 with the openings 4 of the Plate 3 are in agreement.
- ashes can accumulate in the lower area the burner pot 1 has accumulated, fall out towards the bottom.
- the openings 21 of the plate 19 with the openings 5 of the plate 3 in covering. Therefore, ash that passes through the air supply openings 18 into the space 22 outside or has penetrated below the frustoconical inner wall 11, reliably removed become.
- the further plate 19 is opposite the plate 3 moved so that no overlap of the openings 20 and 21 with the openings 4 or 5 is present. Therefore, can be reliably prevented from below in the In addition to the precisely regulated primary air and secondary air volume, the burner pot is supplied with false air becomes.
- the rotation of the further plate 19 relative to the plate 3 is carried out by an actuating rod 23 causes that via a motor operating mechanism, not shown is driven and which projects through a slot 24 into the burner pot 1.
- a cover plate 25 is on the actuating rod 23 attached, which closes the slot 24.
- a control device also not shown, controls this actuating device so that after a time interval in which it can be assumed that there is a significant Ash has accumulated, a cleaning process is carried out by the openings 20 or 21 and 4 or 5 are brought into line.
- a very good one a suitable parameter for controlling the ash removal is that since the last cleaning process number of revolutions of the screw for fuel supply carried out.
- the other plate is in this variant formed as a double plate 29, which consists of two identical disks 29a and 29b and an annular connector 29c. Since this connector 29c the Covering slot 24, a separate cover plate is not required.
- the primary air which is supplied through the primary air line 14, enters the intermediate space 29d between the disks 29a and 29b of the double plate 29 and flows through the openings 20a of the upper disk 29a into the burner pot.
- the openings 20b of the lower one Disk 29b are closed by the plate 3 during normal operation, so that none Air loss occurs. Only if the double plate 29 is rotated so that the openings 20a or 20b and 4 match, so that the ashes can fall through, is the air supply not regulated.
- the ignition air is blown in through openings 15 in the mandrel 12 in order to ensure good ignition.
- the mandrel 12 is made of a ceramic material and fully developed in the upper part. Otherwise, this variant corresponds essentially the one described above.
- the burner according to the invention is arranged in a combustion chamber in a manner known per se, which is airtight with the exception of the flue gas outlet.
- a suction fan at the end of the heating register and heat exchanger in front of the Exhaust pipe arranged. This ensures that the combustion chamber is in all operating states there is a slight negative pressure.
- Ash drawer arranged, which can hold a larger amount of ash. This Ash Ladc must be emptied by the user at longer intervals. That being said with that The burner according to the invention enables maintenance-free operation over relatively long periods of time.
- a particular advantage of the invention is that the reliable removal of the Ash and, thanks to the special arrangement of the pilot gas pipe, simple and safe ignition of the burner can be reached during commissioning. Especially through the uniform supply of the ignition air and by the low heat capacity of the tube 16 in Inside the primary air supply 14 and through the central supply of the ignition air through the openings 15 in the mandrel 12 can be a particularly fast ignition with a small amount of pilot air can be achieved.
