Abstract

L'invention concerne un lave-linge ou un sèche-linge comprenant un tambour (3) fixé à l'horizontale ou incliné de manière à pouvoir pivoter dans un contenant de lessivage (2) constitué d'une enveloppe (3.1) et de deux surfaces de recouvrement (3.2, 3.3), l'enveloppe (3.1) ou une des surfaces de recouvrement (3.2, 3.3) étant pourvue d'une ouverture de déchargement. L'enveloppe (3.1) est entièrement ou partiellement constituée d'une tôle dotée d'une structure bombée orientée vers l'intérieur du tambour. Afin d'obtenir de bonnes propriétés optiques et la vidange complète de l'eau résiduelle tout en agressant le moins possible le linge, les orifices (16) de l'enveloppe (3.1) sont pratiqués dans les bordures (17.1) du bombement orienté vers l'extérieur du tambour. Une variante consiste à disposer les orifices (16) dans des sections (3.5; 3.6) de l'enveloppe (3.1) conçues sans structure bombée.
