Definitions
- the invention relates to an automatic teller machine the preamble of claim 1.
- ATMs of this type are, for example, out known from EP-B-0 024 704. With such ATMs one differentiates according to their loading direction between devices where the banknote cassettes from the front of the control panel or from the back of the ATM into the Safe be inserted. Apart from the fact that the known ATMs of the type mentioned above are relative are large and complex for their construction used assemblies usually only for one type of loading constructed and usable. This complicates the adaptation of the devices to customer requirements with regard to the loading direction and increases the manufacturing costs.
- DE-38 34 062 A1 describes an automated teller machine with safe, separating device, banknote dispenser with locking device, transport device, Control device and control panel with actuators for actuating the control device, the output compartment is arranged above the safe.
- the vault is there in this ATM from one through one Lid lockable open container with two storage units for banknotes.
- the safe can be refilled of banknotes removed from the equipment cabinet become. After removing the lid and inserting it the safe in the equipment cabinet, the safe is raised, so that the separating devices in the open Immerse the container and reach the storage areas for the banknotes can be introduced.
- GB-20 46 975 A is a cash dispenser according to the The preamble of claim 1 is disclosed.
- One on the side vertical transport leading past the banknote cassettes opens directly into an opening in the top of the safe assertive intermediate transport route. Out of it there is a strongly eccentric arrangement of the opening.
- the collection station is considered to be a horizontal one Axle tiltable shelf, which is located above the Vault is located. After collecting a bundle of banknotes the tray will face an output tray tilted, and the banknotes only slide as a result of the Gravity in the output tray. Above the Vault is also a switch in the banknote transport route arranged the banknotes not intended for output leads into a compartment also located above the safe.
- a cash dispenser is known from GB-21 19 993 A, the one in an upper housing part, which is above a the lower housing part receiving the banknote cassettes has a group transport with a stacking wheel, with the help of individually withdrawn banknotes into one Bundles can be collected.
- the invention has for its object a cash dispenser of the type mentioned at the outset is space-saving and inexpensive to manufacture and at who changed the loading direction with simple means can be.
- the vault as a whole can be made lower. Because the second transport section with parts of the control panel located above the safe can be nested, also reduce the overall height of the device. This makes possible the training of cash dispensers as table-top devices.
- the second Transport section comprehensive construction of the device relative to the safe rotates 180 ° around the vertical axis.
- the second Transport section can also in without major change this position with the first transport section on the Transfer point to be coupled.
- the first transport section preferably includes one the separating device can be connected via the Vertical transport extending the banknote cassette, a subsequent to this collective transport to Collect the items that were individually removed from the banknote cassette Banknotes into a bundle in a collection station and one Bundle transport, which is from the collection station to Transfer point extends.
- Group transport and bundle transport can be inserted into the safe first module frame can be arranged while the separating device and vertical transport in one inserted into the safe second module frame are. By installing additional module frames the second The device can thus be used for other banknote cassettes without design changes to the individual facilities be expanded.
- the second transport section preferably comprises one intermediate transport route extending through the opening and an at least approximately parallel to the Top surface of the vault directed horizontal transport route.
- Cash dispensers include the collective transport in addition a stacking wheel a double belt drive, which differs from the Vertical transport approximately over the height of the stacking wheel extends and has a deflecting surface at its upper end such that that the banknotes from the double belt drive at least approximately parallel to a horizontal tangent the stacking wheel are inserted into this.
- Banknotes are therefore essentially horizontal, i.e. parallel moved to the top of the safe, so that above no additional space is required for the bulk transport and yet it is ensured that banknotes that the Miss the stacking wheel, over this into the collection station reach.
- a space-saving, technically simple and reliable Training of the collecting station is achieved in that the bundle transport arranged parallel to each other Includes transport elements connected to carriers are and together with these a shelf for collecting the form banknotes delivered from the stacking wheel, and that pressure fingers are assigned to the transport elements between a collection position in which they can be stored for release the formation of a bundle of banknotes, and one Pressure position are adjustable in which they are parallel to the movement path of the transport elements are directed and the bundle of banknotes formed against the transport elements to press.
- Upper and lower are preferred Pressure fingers are provided, each around an upper or lower swivel axis parallel to the storage level are pivotable in opposite directions.
- the transport elements can be from conveyor belts or racks be formed, which is adjustable via drive gears are.
- the advantage of the pressure fingers is that they have no drive except for the pivoting movement need and need little space for their positioning movement, because, for example, in their transport elements far position in axially normal slots in the stacking wheel can immerse.
- Such a space-saving solution would not be possible if instead of the pressure finger second belt drive would be provided for collecting the banknotes into a bundle in the collecting station of the transport elements would have to be pivoted away.
- a collection or reject cassette provided that usually also in the same Direction as the banknote cassettes inserted into the vault or is removed from it.
- the collection cassette at the level of the collection transport arranged, the inlet opening near the transfer point between the first and the second transport section is arranged.
- a deflection roller and a switch with deflection fingers are provided, between a first position in which they Transport route between the first transport section and release the second transport section, and a second Position are pivotable in which they are from the second Transport section banknotes transported backwards redirect to the inlet opening of the collection cassette.
- a deflection roller and a switch with deflection fingers are provided, between a first position in which they Transport route between the first transport section and release the second transport section, and a second Position are pivotable in which they are from the second Transport section banknotes transported backwards redirect to the inlet opening of the collection cassette.
- the transport section includes the intermediate transport route an upper and a lower belt transport, the belt rollers on a rocker are arranged, the wings towards each other biased, i.e. are sprung. Depending on the thickness of the bundle of banknotes to be transported are the belt transports so more or less pressed apart.
- the transport directions are of intermediate transport and horizontal transport at least approximately at right angles to each other.
- the bundle of banknotes must therefore at the transition from Intermediate transport in the horizontal transport by a relative deflected large angles of possibly more than 90 ° become.
- This can offset the individual Banknotes within the bundle due to their different Distance from the axis of curvature of the deflection surface cannot be avoided.
- This offset can however, be kept low in that the horizontal transport route an upper and a lower belt transport and that the belts of the lower belt transports of horizontal transport and intermediate transport via coaxial first guide pulleys and the belts of the upper belt transports of the Horizontal transport and intermediate transport over guided second coaxial guide pulleys are.
- the intermediate transport is preferably the horizontal transport and the closure device on one on the Vault attachable third frame arranged. Thereby are adjustment problems at the transition points between the individual transports or horizontal transport and largely avoided the closure device.
- the Assembly of the device is simplified and cheaper.
- the closure device of a partially cylindrical Flap formed on the third frame around the cylinder axis is pivotally mounted and their pivoting movement between an open and a closed position is controlled via a cam.
- this cam disc from a stepper motor via a reduction gear driven.
- the closure flap therefore with great power and therefore reliable and be pivoted exactly.
- the cash dispenser shown partially schematically in Figure 1 includes one generally designated 10 Housing with a front 12 on which there is a control panel 14 and a display device formed by a screen 16 are located. Enclosed in the housing 10 is a safe 18 with a bottom 20, one Top surface 22 and side walls 24, only one of which is shown. At its the front of the case 10 indicative side, the safe 18 has a door 26.
- first module frame 28 and second module frame 30 inserted in the safe 18 .
- a banknote cassette can be placed in the second module frame 30 32 banknotes stacked upright become.
- the second module frame 30 further includes a separating device 34 and the separated ones Vertical transport of banknotes 36, which extends over the height of the module frame 30.
- the first module frame 28 includes one generally 38 designated collective transport to take over the individual Banknotes from the vertical transport 36 and for formation a bundle of banknotes, as shown in the figures 2 and 3 will be explained in more detail later, and is used for Recording of a reject cassette 40, in which banknotes are collected be because of a faulty and therefore canceled Output process can not be output or must be withdrawn because the customer has the bundle of banknotes for some reason.
- the top surface of the safe has a central area an opening 42 through which there is an intermediate transport 44 extends with the collective transport 38 can be coupled at a transfer point 46 and outside of the safe 18 connected to a horizontal transport 48 is, which the intermediate transport 44 with one at the Housing front 12 arranged output tray 50 connects.
- the output tray 50 is generally indicated at 52 designated closure device closable.
- the collective transport 38 comprises a double belt drive 54 with a first belt 56, which is guided over rollers 58, 60 and with a second belt 62 which is over rollers 64, 66 is guided.
- the lower end of the double belt drive 54 connects to the upper end of the vertical transport 36 and takes over from this coming individual Banknotes.
- the stacking wheel 70 and the double belt drive 54 are so arranged relative to each other that the banknotes deflected by the deflecting surface 68 in FIG 3 approximately horizontal and tangential to the top of the stacking wheel 70 enter its compartments. From that in Clockwise rotating stacking wheel 70 are the detected banknotes, which are shown in FIG dash-dotted lines 72 are shown to a generally designated 74 storage or collection station moved and stacked to form a bundle 76.
- the Storage comprises transport belts 78 lying next to one another, which are guided over rollers 80, 82 and on which drivers 84 are attached, which in Figures 2 and 3 in their are shown in the lower position.
- the one level lying belts 78 form a contact surface for the of the stacked wheel 70 deposited banknotes, the banknotes get up on the carriers 84.
- the transport belt 78 are lower transport fingers 86 and assigned upper transport fingers 88, each on a shaft parallel to the axes of the rollers 80 and 82 90 and 92 are attached and between one in the figure 2 collection position and that shown in FIG. 3 shown transport position pivotable in opposite directions are as indicated by the double arrows A and B in FIG. 2 is indicated.
- the pressure fingers 86 dive into hers collection position shown in Figure 2 in axis normal Slots in the stacking wheel 70.
- the upper transport fingers 88 connect to a baffle 89, the banknotes flying past the stacking wheel 70 are also safe leads to the tray 74.
- Waves 90 and 92 are over Toothed segments 93 coupled together so that they from one not shown engine forth synchronously and in opposite directions from their transport position to their collection position can be pivoted.
- the provision in the transport position takes place via a spring 94, on the one hand on an eye 96 and formed on the module frame 28 on the other hand, on one connected to the pressure fingers 86 Extension 98 attacks.
- the one from the transport belt 78 and the pressure fingers 86, 88 existing bundle transports are transported in the Storage formed banknote bundle 76 in the direction of the arrow C up until the bundle 76 reliably from the intermediate transport 44 can be detected.
- the intermediate transport 44 consists of a lower belt drive 100 and an upper belt drive 102
- Lower belt drive 100 are via lower rollers 104 and guided upper rollers 106.
- the belt of the upper belt drive 102 are via lower rollers 108 and upper rollers 110 guided.
- the rollers 104, 106 and 108, 110 are each mounted on a rocker 112 or 114, which in turn about the axis of rotation 116 of the rollers 106 or the axis of rotation 118 of the rollers 110 pivotally mounted on a frame 120 are.
- the rockers 112 and 114 are by compression springs 122 or 124 tensioned against each other, so that the belt drives 100 and 102 lie close together, by one However, bundles of banknotes can be pushed apart.
- the deflection rollers 106 and 110 of the lower belt drive 100 or the upper belt drive 102 simultaneously form deflection rollers for a belt drive 126 or one Upper belt drive 128 of the horizontal transport 48, the Belts also run around rollers 130 and 132, respectively, which are near the Output opening 134 of the output tray 50 are arranged.
- All belt drives shown are from electric motors moved via gear, not shown, wherein at least the belt drive 78 of the bundle transport, the Belt drives 100 and 102 of intermediate transport 44 and the belt drives 126, 128 of the horizontal transport 48 in their direction of rotation are reversible.
- Turnout 136 consisting of a series of side by side arranged deflecting fingers 138, which are coaxial to the shaft 140 the deflection rollers 82 of the conveyor belt 78 is pivotable are arranged and synchronized with the adjustment of the pressure fingers 86, 88 between one shown in Figure 3 Pass position and one shown in Figure 2 Deflection position can be pivoted. The adjustment takes place via the pressure fingers 86, 88 which also adjust Drive.
- the deflecting fingers 138 give the way for that in the collecting station formed bundles of banknotes towards the Intermediate transport 44 free.
- Redirect position they direct a bundle of banknotes that is transported backwards by the intermediate transport 44 into an inlet opening 142 of the collection cassette 40 ⁇ m.
- the output opening 134 in the output compartment 50 is closed by a partially cylindrical flap 144 closed with two Swivel arms 146 on the frame 120 about the cylinder axis 148 is pivotally mounted.
- an operating lever 150 is connected to the carries a pin 152 at its free end.
- This cone engages in a control groove 154 of a cam plate 156, the is also rotatably mounted on the frame 120 and adjusted by a stepper motor 158 via a gear 160 can be.
- the control groove 154 changed over their Length their distance from the axis of rotation of the cam 156.
- Pin 152 By sliding in the tax groove 154 Pin 152 becomes when the cam disc 156 rotates the actuating lever 150 and thus also the closure flap 144 panned. At its ends it has Control groove 154 each have a concentric section that prevents pin 152 from attempting to close the shutter 144 to adjust from the outside, the cam 156 twisted. This is the closure flap 144 secured against manipulation by self-locking.
- the lower belt rollers 108 are supported directly large-diameter pulleys 161 from above Inlet opening 142 of the collecting container 40 on the module frame 28 are rotatably mounted.
- the relatively large deflection angle between the intermediate transport 44 and the horizontal transport 48 leads to one Offset for thicker banknote packages. Unavoidable is the geometric offset of 2 ⁇ x s, where s is the packet or bundle thickness. If the upper belt was included the entire deflection around the rollers 106 on the radial outer banknote of the bundle, this would be over their total height with the slow peripheral speed transported and thus the offset is as large as possible. This is avoided by the fact that the belts of the upper belt drives the intermediate transport 44 and the horizontal transport 48 each tangential to the deflection rollers 106 apply so that the deflection zone at the angle between the both upper belt drives is free.
- the banknotes withdrawn from the separating device 34 are from the vertical transport 36, the double belt drive 54 fed and run from this into the stacking wheel 70, from which they are collected on the shelf.
- the dogs 84 moved upward by the conveyor belt 78 and take the bundle of banknotes with you.
- Synchronous the intermediate transport 44 becomes the upward movement activated. He takes over the bundle of banknotes 76 and leads it to the horizontal transport 48, which it up to the output tray transported, it still from the horizontal transport 48 is held. Switching the on and off various transports are regulated by light barriers, which by the leading and trailing edges of the Banknotes are controlled.
- the lock is opened and positioned the money in the withdrawal position. should that Money has not been withdrawn after a set time the withdrawal of money is initiated. For this, pressure and guide finger in the collecting position according to FIG. 2 pivoted. The switch coupled with the pressure fingers 136 goes into the return position shown in FIG. 3. The large pulleys 161 over the opening 142 the collecting cassette 40 are also driven in reverse and support the entry of banknotes into the Collection cassette 40 with the aid of a feed drive 162.
- Double deductions are arranged for a collective reject.
- the bundle of banknotes collected on the shelf also moved into the collection cassette.
- the bundle will pushed so far into the intermediate transport 44 that the switch 136 can be switched safely.
- the banknotes as when withdrawing money into the collection cassette 40 transported.
- FIG 4 shows an embodiment variant, which differs from the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 3 only by the type of transport elements of the bundle transport differs.
- conveyor belts 78 are here juxtaposed rods 164 are provided on which the drivers 84 are attached and on their Back each carry a rack 166, which over Gears 168 are driven. That way you can the drivers 84 between those drawn out in FIG Lines reproduced or by dash-dotted lines Lines represented position adjusted up and down become.
- FIG. 5 shows an embodiment variant in a schematic detail, which differ from that in FIGS. 1 to 4 illustrated embodiment differs in that the safe 18 with all the slots 28, 30 and the horizontal transport 48 and 44 carrying the intermediate transport Frame 120 were swapped 180 ° relative to each other.
- the door 26 of the safe 18 now is on the back of the device housing 10 and thus the module frames 28 and 30 or the cassettes 32 and 40 inserted into the safe from the rear of the device can be.
- This requires a slight change the position of the intermediate transport 44 relative to Horizontal transport 48.
- the cash dispenser essentially the same elements either as a device for the Front loading or as a device for loading from be mounted from the back.
