Claims (10)
- Verfahren zum Handhaben von Materialbahnen (14) mit einseitig angebrachter Beschichtung eines aktiven Klebstoffes, insbesondere zum Anbringen von Klebestreifen (10) an Faltkartons (11) oder dergleichen, wobei die Materialbahn (14) von einer ersten Bobine (16) abgezogen und nach Verbrauch derselben eine neue Materialbahn einer Ersatzbobine (18) an die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) angeschlossen wird, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:a) die anzuschließende, neue Materialbahn bzw. ein Anfangsabschnitt (19) der Ersatzbobine (18) wird von einem Übertragungsorgan bereitgehalten, insbesondere von einer Übergabewalze (30) und/oder einem Übertragungshebel (31),b) der Anfangsabschnitt (19) der neuen Materialbahn liegt mit der Kleber (15) aufweisenden Seite mit verminderter Haltekraft an dem Übertragungsorgan an,c) zur Verbindung des Anfangsabschnitts (19) mit der ablaufenden Materialbahn (14) wird der Anfangsabschnitt (19) mit seiner klebstofffreien Seite an die zugekehrte, Kleber (15) aufweisende Seite der Materialbahn (14) angedrückt, derart, daß die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) den Anfangsabschnitt (19) aufgrund der reduzierten Haltekraft von dem Übertragungsorgan löst und mitführt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die (ablaufende) Materialbahn (14) vollständig von der Bobine (16) bzw. einem Bobinenkern (52) abgezogen, die Materialbahn (14) bzw. mindestens ein von der Bobine (16) abgezogener Endabschnitt derselben während des Transports im Querschnitt unter Bildung eines offenen Hohlprofils verformt wird, insbesondere unter wannenartiger Querverformung, und sodann mit dem Anfangsabschnitt (19) verbunden wird.
- Vorrichtung zum Handhaben von Materialbahnen (14) mit einseitig angebrachtem, aktivem Kleber (15), insbesondere zum Auftragen von Klebestreifen (10) auf Faltkartons oder dergleichen, mit mindestens einer Splicestation (17), in der die Materialbahn (14) von einer Bobine (16) abziehbar ist und in der eine Ersatzbobine (18) für den Anschluß eines Anfangsabschnitts (19) einer neuen Materialbahn an die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) bereitgehalten ist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:a) die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) läuft an einem Führungs- bzw. Tragorgan entlang, insbesondere über eine Umlenkwalze (21), derart, daß der Kleber (15) auf der freien, äußeren Seite liegt,b) der Anfangsabschnitt (19) der anzuschließenden neuen Materialbahn liegt mit der Kleber (15) aufweisenden Seite an einem Übertragungsorgan an, insbesondere an einer Übergabewalze (30),c) das Übergabeorgan bzw. die Übergabewalze (30) ist mit Vorsprüngen, Erhöhungen oder dergleichen versehen, derart, daß der Anfangsabschnitt (19) mit reduzierter Haltekraft am Übertragungsorgan bzw. an der Übertragungswalze (30) anliegt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übertragungsorgan, insbesondere der Umfang der Übergabewalze (30), mit längs des Umfangs angeordneten Spitzen (34) zur Anlage der mit Kleber (15) versehenen Seite des Anfangsabschnitts (19) ausgebildet ist, wobei vorzugsweise die Spitzen (34) durch in Längs- und Querreihen orientierte, pyramidenförmige Erhöhungen (35) gebildet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übergabeorgan für den Anfangsabschnitt (19) aus einer an einem schwenkbaren Träger angeordneten, drehbaren Übergabewalze (30) besteht, an der der Anfangsabschnitt (19) in einem Teilbereich des Umfangs anliegt und daß zur Übergabe des Anfangsabschnitts (19) die Übergabewalze (30) gegen die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) drückbar ist, insbesondere im Bereich der Umlenkwalze (21) für die Materialbahn (14).
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übergabeorgan für den Anfangsabschnitt (19) einen schwenkbaren Hebel, nämlich einen Übertragungshebel (31) aufweist, an dessen (unterem) freien Ende die Übergabewalze (30) angeordnet ist und daß der Übertragungshebel (31) durch ein Betätigungsorgan schwenkbar ist, vorzugsweise durch einen Zylinder (38).
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Umlenkwalze (21) für die (ablaufende) Materialbahn (14) ein Führungsorgan in Förderrichtung vorgeordnet ist, insbesondere ein langgestreckter, geradliniger Schuh (23) mit einer profilierten Führungsfläche (25) für die Materialbahn (14), derart, daß die Materialbahn (14) im Bereich des Schuhs (23) - bis unmittelbar vor der Umlenkwalze (21) - eine gewölbte Querschnittsform aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bobine (16) und die Ersatzbobine (18) an einem gemeinsamen, bewegbaren Träger angeordnet sind, insbesondere an einer drehbaren Tragscheibe (42), wobei nach Anschluß des Anfangsabschnitts (19) einer neuen Materialbahn an die ablaufende Materialbahn (14) die Tragscheibe (42) drehbar ist, derart, daß die (bisherige) Ersatzbobine (14) in die Position der aktiven Bobine (16) gelangt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Versorgung von zwei Tape-Aggregaten (12, 13) zwei eigenständige, übereinstimmende Splicestationen (17) vorgesehen sind, die vorzugsweise in bezug auf eine horizontale Ebene spiegelbildlich angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Tape-Aggregat (12, 13) oder die Tape-Aggregate (12, 13) an einer Halterung (57) derart angeordnet sind, daß jedes Tape-Aggregat (12, 13) in Horizontalrichtung verstellbar und mindestens ein Tape-Aggregat (12) in vertikaler Richtung verstellbar ist.
