Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Schleifen der Messer, die im Messerring eines Zerspaners eingespannt sind und deren Schneiden im wesentlichen parallel zur Messerringachse verlaufen;
  • wobei mehrere Schleifwerkzeuge in Richtung der Messerringachse intermittierend und gleichzeitig verfahrbar sind, um einzelne Messer zu schleifen;
  • wobei der Messerring während des Schleifens stillsteht und während der Schleifpausen entsprechend der Teilung der Messer über den Umfang des Messerringes um seine eigene Achse verdreht wird.
    • Die Erfindung ist gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Merkmale:
  • jedes Schleifwerkzeug schleift jedes der Messer derart, daß der erwünschte Gesamt-Schleifabtrag mit dem im Umlaufsinne des Messeringes letzten Schleifwerkzeug erreicht wird.
