Description

Außerdem hat die geringe Wasseraufnahme den Vorteil, daß bei Portalanlagen mit anschließender Trocknung durch kurzzeitiges Drehen der Waschwalze ohne Wasserzufuhr das noch an den Streifen anhaftende Wasser abgeschleudert werden kann und dann bei der Trocknung kein Wasser nachtropft.

Claims (26)
- Arbeitswalze, insbesondere Waschwalze für Fahrzeugwaschanlagen, mit einem rotierend antreibbaren Walzenkern (2) und mit mehreren, axial nebeneinander auf dem Walzenkern angeordneten, diesen konzentrisch umgebenden Arbeitsscheiben (4, 4'), von denen jede eine Vielzahl von zumindest bei Rotation der Walze (1) im wesentlichen radial von dem Walzenkern (2) abstehenden Streifen (3) aus flexiblem Material, insbesondere Schaumstoff, aufweist, deren in bezug auf die Walzenachse (A) radial innere Enden mittelbar oder unmittelbar mit dem Walzenkern (2) verbunden sind, wobei zwischen benachbarten Streifen sektorähnliche Lücken gebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindung der radial inneren Enden (3a) der Streifen (3) gegenüber dem Walzenkern 2) in Umfangsrichtung im wesentlichen biegesteif ist, daß die Streifen im Bereich ihrer inneren Enden (3a) in Umfangsrichtung jeweils die größte Breite (B) aufweisen und daß die Streifen zu ihren radial äußeren, freien Enden (3b) hin verjüngt sind, so daß sie bereits im Ruhezustand der Arbeitswalze, zumindest aber bei geringer Drehzahl derselben im wesentlichen radial vom Walzenkern (2) abstehen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Arbeitsscheiben (4) mit gegenseitigem axialen Abstand (a) auf dem Walzenkern (2) angeordnet sind.
- Walze nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen den Arbeitsscheiben (4) Distanzscheiben (5) auf dem Walzenkern (2) angeordnet sind.
- Walze nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die radial inneren Enden (3a) der Streifen (3) jeweils zwischen zwei den Walzenkern (2) konzentrisch umgebenden Tragscheiben (6) eingespannt sind.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (3) durch Schrauben oder Nieten (8), welche sich durch den jeweiligen Streifen (3) und die beiden Tragscheiben (6) hindurch erstrecken, an diesen befestigt sind.
- Walze nach Anspruch 2 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Tragscheiben (6) jeweils eine auf den Walzenkern passende kreisrunde Ausstanzung (9) und in deren Bereich mindestens eine axial verlaufende Ausnehmung (10) für den Eingriff eines am Walzenkem (2) drehfest angeordneten Mitnehmers (11) aufweisen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (3) mit dem Zentrum der Scheibe (4) aus einem Stück flexiblem Materials bestehen und die Lücken zwischen den Streifen (3) durch sektorähnliche Ausstanzungen gebildet sind.
- Walze nach anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Arbeitsscheiben (4) jeweils eine auf den Walzenkern passende kreisrunde Ausstanzung (9) und in deren Bereich mindestens eine axial verlaufende Ausnehmung (10) für den Eingriff eines am Walzenkern (2) drehfest angeordneten Mitnehmers (11) aufweisen.
- Walze nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verhältnis der radialen Länge (1) eines Streifens (3) zu seiner Breite (B) an seinem radial inneren Ende mindestens 5:1, vorzugsweise mindestens 10:1, ist.
- Walze nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (3) aus einem Material solcher Biegesteifigkeit bestehen, daß sie bereits im Ruhezustand der Walze (1), zumindest aber bei geringer Drehzahl derselben im wesentlichen radial vom Walzenkern (2) abstehen.
- Walze nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß daß die Streifen (3) und/oder die Arbeitsscheiben (4) aus einem flexiblen Material bestehen, welches keine oder nur eine geringe Wasseraufnahme aufweist.
- Walze nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (3) und/oder Arbeitsscheiben (4) aus geschlossenzelligem Schaumstoff bestehen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus offenzelligern Schaumstoff bestehen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Weich- oder Hartgummi bestehen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Kunststoffolien oder -platten bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Filz bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Teppichmaterial bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Mikrofasermaterial bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Leder bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus synthetischem oder natürlichem Fell bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben aus Zellkautschuk bestehen.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben mit Verstärkungseinlagen versehen sind.
- Walze nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen und/oder Arbeitsscheiben einen Schichtaufbau aus einer Kombination von mindestens zwei der in den Ansprüchen 11 bis 22 genannten Materialien aufweisen.
- Walze nach Anspruch 12 oder 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schaumstoff Mikrofasern enthält.
- Walze nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (3) zu ihren radial äußeren, freien Enden (3b) hin dreieckähnlich verjüngt sind.
- Walze nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an jeder Arbeitsscheibe (4) mindestens sechzehn Streifen (3) vorgesehen sind.
