Abstract
The rotating roller, and especially the washing roller is for a vehicle washing assembly. It has a stiff and non-bending bond in the peripheral direction for the radial inner ends (3a) of the strips (3) at the roller core (2). The inner ends of the strips, in the peripheral direction, have the maximum width (8), and the strips taper towards their free ends (3b). The strips are components of a disc (4) coaxially round the roller core, as a number of triangular strips tapering towards their outer free ends. Structured gaps are between the strips. A number of discs, with strips, are mounted to the roller core. The strips or discs are of a foam material with open or closed pores, of soft or hard rubber, of plastics films or plates, of felt, of carpeting fabric, of microfibre material, of leather, of natural or synthetic fleece, of cellular rubber, and the like.
