Die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 erwartet den Stapel in der vorderen Endlage, die in Fig. 1 durch A, A' bezeichnet ist. Die rückwärts gerichtete -wie übrigens auch die vorwärtsgerichtete- Bewegung aus der vorderen Endlage erfolgt durch eine Antriebsvorrichtung 12, die mit strichpunktierten Linien dargestellt ist. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein Gestell (nicht ersichtlich) der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 in einer parallel zur Förderrichtung F der Fördervorrichtung 2 verlaufenden Führungsanordnung vorgesehen, an der die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung vorwärts, d.h. gegen das vordere Stapelende 7 und rückwärts gerichtet, vom vorderen Stapelende weg bewegt werden kann. Diese Bewegungen können beispielsweise durch ein einen gesteuerten Getriebemotor 13 mit dem Gestell der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung verbindendes umlaufendes Zugmittel 14, Kette oder Zahnriemen, erzielt werden.
Die Steuerung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 geschieht aufgrund einer Abstandsmessung zwischen dem am Gestell der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 und dem vorderen Stapelende 6 der Gegenstände 3. Die Abstandsmessung wird mit physikalischen Grössen durchgeführt, die sich dafür eignen. Als solche sind das Licht, Ultraschall oder mechanische Vorrichtungen zu nenenn, wobei erstere auch im Reflexionsverfahren einsetzbar sind und zur Uebertragung von Strahlen oder Wellen jeweils Sender und Empfänger aufweisen.
Die Abstandsmessung erfolgt auf einer Messstrecke 18, die gemäss den Fig. 1 bis 5 in zwei Abschnitte 19, 20 aufgeteilt ist. Die von den Abschnitten 19, 20 gebildeten Enden der Messstrecke 18 sind den Bewegungen der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 zugeordnet, wobei das von dem vorderen Stapelende 6 weiter entfernte Ende der Messstrecke 18 der rückwärts gerichteten Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 zugeordnet ist, wogegen das dem vorderen Stapelende 6 näher gegenüberstehende Ende der Messstrecke 18 zur Einleitung einer vorwärtsgerichteten Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 bestimmt ist. Obschon in Fig. 1 gemäss Darstellung an der Messstrecke 18 eine vorwärts gerichtete Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 vorgesehen ist, befindet sich letztere bewegungslos in der vorderen Endlage A, A'.
Durch die Annäherung der Gegenstände 3 ist der Abstand zu dem vordersten Gegenstand 3 momentan aufgehoben. Dadurch hat der Messwertgeber 16 auf der Messstrecke 18 die rückwärts gerichtete Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 eingeleitet, wie dies durch Fig. 2 vermittelt wird.
Fig. 4 zeigt die Einrichtung 1 in einer Situation, in der das vordere Stapelende 6 angehalten ist und die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7 eine hintere Position bzw. eine Schaltposition 21 erreicht hat, in der die Förderwirkung der Fördervorrichtung 2 unterbrochen wird. Der Stapel wird weiterhin abgebaut und die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung bleibt stehen oder sie bewegt sich weiter zurück, mit gleicher oder grösserer Geschwindigkeit als zuvor.
Claims (12)
- Einrichtung (1) zur Vereinzelung von stapelweise stehend zugeführten flachen Gegenständen (3), wie Briefumschläge, Karten, Versandtaschen, Beutel, Pakete oder Druckerzeugnisse, bestehend aus einer die quer zur Zuführrichtung (F) angeordneten Gegenstände (3) transportierenden, aus einem endlos umlaufenden Zugmittel (4) gebildeten Fördervorrichtung (2) und einer der Fördervorrichtung (12) zugeordneten Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7), die in Förderrichtung der Fördervorrichtung (2) gegen das vordere Stapelende (6) der Gegenstände (3) zustellbar ausgebildet ist und einen der flachen Seite des vordersten Gegenstandes (3) zugewandten Abzugsabschnitt (8) eines zur Förderrichtung des Stapels rechtwinklig angetriebenen Fördertrums (22) eines endlos umlaufenden Förderbandes (9) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) zur Einleitung einer rückwärts oder einer vorwärts gerichteten Bewegung wenigstens einen dem vorderen Stapelende (6) der transportierten Gegenstände (3) zugewandten Messwertgeber (16) aufweist.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Messwertgeber (16) zur Messung seines Abstandes vom vorderen Stapelende (6) mittels einer physikalischen Grösse ausgebildet ist und dass den gemessenen Abstandswerten die Bewegungen oder ein Stillstand der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) zugeordnet sind.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die eingeleitete, rückwärts gerichtete Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) eine gleiche oder grössere Geschwindigkeit aufweist als die Fördervorrichtung (2).
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Messwertgeber (16) an einem Gestell der motorisch antreibbaren Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) angeordnet ist.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Messwertgeber (16) mit einer auf eine die Bewegungen der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) erzeugenden Antriebsvorrichtung (12) einwirkenden Steuervorrichtung (17) verbunden ist.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dem Messwertgeber (16) eine in Abschnitte (19, 20) aufgeteilte Messstrecke (18) zugeordnet ist.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den Abschnitten (19, 20) der Messstrecke (18) jeweils die rückwärts oder die vorwärts gerichteten Bewegung oder ein Stillstand der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) zugeordnet sind.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abschnitt, der dem Stillstand der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) zugeordnet ist, zwischen den Abschnitten (19, 20) der rückwärts und vorwärts gerichteten Bewegungen auf der Messstrecke (18) angeordnet ist.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Messwertgeber (16) durch eine sich auf der Messstrecke (18) physikalisch verändernde Grösse ausgebildet ist.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Anspruch 6 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf dem rückwärtsgerichteten Bewegungsweg der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) eine Schaltposition (21) angeordnet ist, durch welche der Antrieb der Fördervorrichtung (2) unterbrochen und die Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) dem Abschnitt (19, 20) der Messstrecke (18) entsprechend gesteuert wird.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fördervorrichtung (2) nach einem bestimmten Weg der in vorwärts gerichteter Bewegung angetriebenen Vereinzelungsvorrichtung (7) in Betrieb gesetzt wird.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Steuervorrichtung (17) zur Selbstregelung des Entnahmeprozesses der Gegenstände (3) von dem vorderen Stapelende (6) ausgebildet ist.
