Definitions
- the invention relates to a flood protection wall with at least a recessed in the ground or an adapted foundation, watertightly designed tub that is only open at the top, which encloses a bulkhead segment that hydraulically upwards extendable from the tub or retractable into the tub is sealed with a bottom flange when fully extended bears against a lower seal of a tub cover flange, the top of the tub except for a passage opening closed for the bulkhead segment, in fully retracted Condition with an upper cover the passage opening mentioned ends flush and rests on a float, whose outer contour corresponds to the inner contour of the tub, and that on the inner wall the tub is guided vertically displaceable, in Trough floor below the float, a controllable water inlet a pressurized water line for flooding the tub and a controllable water drain provided for tub emptying and the extended wall elements are sealed against each other.
- DE 40 08 813 A1 discloses a liquid bulkhead for rooms with floor-level openings. To train the halls like this can serve as a catch basin for fire fighting water, is proposed in this prior publication, for each of the Wall breakthroughs covering at least the lower part Shut-off plate to be provided with a seal parallel to the floor is carried out on both sides until the level of restraint is reached. A mechanical bottom seal is provided for this purpose a sealing hose, which in its inactive position sunk into a bottom groove and down to activate it the groove swung out and pressed sealingly against the floor becomes.
- the invention is based, for a temporary usable and space-saving flood protection wall a reliable seal that withstands water pressure to develop between the bulkhead segments.
- the Protective wall segment on at least one of its two end faces with a horizontal in Wall longitudinal direction extendable or retractable sealing strip equipped is sealing when the protective wall segment is fully extended for bearing against the end wall of an adjacent one in the wall longitudinal direction Bulkhead segment can be brought, the Control of the sealing strip over several, distributed over the wall height arranged, pneumatically controllable piston-cylinder units takes place, the piston rod each through the U-web a U-profile is guided, the at least one end face of the bulkhead segment forms and the sealing strip in retracted Condition encloses.
- the cylinder of the double-acting Piston abuts with one end on the U-web of the U-profile and connected to a compressed air line with this cylinder section, with its other end to a vertical hollow profile connected and pressurized with compressed air.
- the float through a hollow body is formed on its top by the bottom flange of the bulkhead segment is completed on its Bottom has an opening and is filled with air.
- the flood protection wall according to the invention can be used if necessary move quickly into their working position, but is during the rest of the time invisible, so it doesn't take up any space and does not represent an obstacle to visibility Extremely low compared to dyke or rampart systems.
- FIG. 1 is a tub 1 in a reinforced concrete basic block 2 embedded.
- the tub 1 is open at the top, otherwise but designed watertight and encloses a protective wall segment 3 resting on a float 4.
- This float is 4 formed by a hollow body that through on its top a bottom flange 5 of the bulkhead segment 3 is completed and has an opening 6 on its underside, for the rest but is filled with air.
- the bottom flange 5 corresponds to in ner outer contour of the inner contour of the tub 1 and is on the inner wall this tub 1 guided vertically.
- a tub cover flange 7 closes the top of the tub 1 to on a passage opening 8 for the protective wall segment 3.
- the passage opening 8 provided with an O-ring cover seal 10 8 flush and sealing, so that the tub 1 with their Internals is sealed against environmental influences.
- full extension Condition is the bulkhead segment 3 with its bottom flange 5 sealing on a lower seal 11 of the tub cover flange 7 on.
- a flood protection wall according to the invention will generally from several of the top view shown in Figure 4, in Assemble the units in a longitudinal direction. to sealing bridging of the gap between the neighboring ones
- the end faces of two extended protective wall segments have at least one of the two protective wall segments 3 on at least one of its two end faces, which extends over the wall height, extendable or retractable horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the wall Sealing strip 18 on that with the protective wall segment fully extended 3 sealing against the front wall of the neighboring one Bulkhead segment can be brought.
- FIG 6 shows that the one equipped with the sealing strip 18 Front of the bulkhead segment 3 by an open to the outside U-profile 19 is formed, in which the sealing strip 18 is retracted State immersed.
- the sealing strip 18 is used by several Piston-cylinder units distributed over the wall height h 20 acted upon, the piston rod 21 by guided the U-web of the U-profile 19 and with at its free end is equipped with a pressure plate 22 on which the actual, e.g. Vulkolan existing sealing strip 18 sits.
- the piston rod bushing through the mentioned U-web is over a cylinder cover 23 sealed.
- the cylinder 24 of the double acting Piston 25 is at one end on said U-web of the U-profile 19 and is with this cylinder section to one Compressed air line 26 connected while the other cylinder end connected to a vertical hollow profile 27 and above is pressurized with compressed air.
- the compressed air control of the piston-cylinder units 20 takes place via a quick coupling provided in the tub cover flange 7 28, via a quick coupling 29 arranged in the base flange 5, a mounted on the bottom flange 5 control unit 30 and through the bottom flange 5, to the piston-cylinder units 20 connected compressed air line 26.
- the compressed air supply of the hollow profile 27 takes place via an air supply line 31, for which a shut-off valve in the supply shaft 16 32 is provided.
- the length of the tub 1 can e.g. in the order of 6 m and their width on the order of e.g. 0.64 m.
- the Tub 1 is at its upper edge with a stiffening flange 33 and provided on their outer jacket with stiffening ribs 34.
- the bulkhead segment 3 can over its main length by a static profile adapted to be formed, the can be round, angular or wavy. In the figures a wave profile 35 is indicated for this.
- Figure 3 shows that on the top of the bottom flange 5 guide pins 37 are provided for on the inside of the Trough cover flange 7 guide grooves 38 are provided.
- the height of a protective wall segment 3 and thus the depth of the Trough 1 are to be adapted to the respective requirements.
- the extension movement the protective wall segment 3 is carried out by flooding the tub 1 from below and the buoyancy generated thereby, which is enclosed by the water in the hollow body of the float 4 Air is amplified.
- Driving with rising water level the protective wall segment 3 upwards until it with its bottom flange 5 sealing on the seal 11 of the tub cover flange 7 is present.
- By subsequently increasing the pressure in the tub 1 generate a very large holding force at 3 bar water pressure.
- the piston-cylinder units 20 pressurized with compressed air via the hollow profile 27, whereby the Sealing strip 18 is moved horizontally until it seals the smoothly formed end wall of the neighboring one, too extended protective wall segment.
- every second Protective wall segment with one on each of its two faces Sealing strip 18 is fitted, so that every second protective wall segment can be formed without sealing strips.
- the piston-cylinder units on the Compressed air line 26 is applied. After fully retracting the sealing strip 18, the tub 1 is completely emptied, the protective wall segment 3 retracts into the tub 1.
