Is on a case a turntable rotatably mounted on the pallet carrier for receiving the pallets material to be printed on. There is a printing unit above the pallets arranged on a plate fixed to the housing. Form the pallet and the printing unit a printing station. As a rule, with such screen printing devices, one six-color machine eight pallets and, for example, a fourteen-color or fourteen station machine sixteen pallets available. The two pallets without a printing unit are used for loading and unloading printing materials.
- the printing unit is lowered during the printing process, so that a liquid medium, mostly ink, is applied via doctor blade systems a screen is applied to the surface of the material to be printed.
- a liquid medium mostly ink
- the screen printing stencils or Printing units and the further turning of the pallets is carried out so that the next printing process can take place.
- the turntable that receives the pallets is driven by a servo motor and a toothed belt to keep it running the pallets or a positioning of the pallets to the next printing station to enable. Correct positioning takes place via mechanical indexing. Pins are provided on the turntable, which on one of the printing units supporting plate are directed over the lowering of the printing units a lifting device arranged in a space between two on the plate Rolls engages, so that a correct positioning of the printing units to the Pallets is given.
