Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shaft device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Shaft devices of the type mentioned at the outset are known in many forms, for example from CH-PS 523 987, which is also explained in more detail in the accompanying FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • the known shaft devices require a relatively large amount of play between a drive support rail and the end eyelet of a stranded wire in order to ensure a sufficient spread angle for handling the stranded wire.
  • This big game causes wear on the one hand and strong noise on the other.
  • speeds of up to 2500 revolutions per minute are permitted in such shaft devices or weaving machines equipped therewith.
  • the object of the invention is to improve a shaft device of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that the disadvantages mentioned are avoided.
  • the object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1. Because the strand is driven by at least one thin leg on the drive support rail which projects transversely to the plane formed by the support rails, the latter can engage in the driving groove of the associated end eyelet of the strand with little play. This extremely low backlash generates very little noise even at maximum speed, which can be 4000 to 6000 revolutions per minute, for example, and causes only minimal wear.
  • the novel shaft device or a weaving machine equipped with it thus enables higher performance with a comparatively lower noise level and reduced wear.
  • the service life of the shaft device can be improved by an embodiment according to claim 2, since the drive force is then distributed over two legs. At the same time, this also reduces wear and the noise level that increases with increasing wear.
  • leg of the drive support rail at any height of the drive support rail, although an embodiment according to claim 3 is advantageous.
  • a design of the support rails, in particular of the drive support rail, is particularly advantageous, because this profiling on the one hand enables the formation of the leg and on the other hand ensures a good bending moment with low mass compared to a full profile. fil the mounting rail.
  • the lower mass of the mounting rails favors higher operating speeds and helps to reduce noise and wear.
  • the end loops can have an opening on a side lying transversely in the direction of movement.
  • an embodiment according to claim 6 is more advantageous.
  • Claim 7 describes an advantageous game.
  • Claim 8 contains an advantageous width of the driving groove.
  • the claim 9 quantifies a preferably vertical play between the end eyelet and the non-driven mounting rail in order to ensure a necessary spreading angle for the handling of the strands.
  • the heddle can be of any design, but the design according to claim 10 is of particular advantage, since it enables good strength and wear properties with the smallest possible lateral space requirement.
  • An embodiment according to claim 11 is particularly advantageous, two mounting openings generally being present. This enables a further development according to claim 12.
  • the assembly device makes it easier to set up strands with warp threads beforehand. By means of the assembly device, the strands can then be pushed on and off the support rails, as a result of which the set-up and changeover times are substantially reduced, for example when the articles to be manufactured are changed.
