Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for processing or processing developed photographic films according to the preamble of the first claim.
- DE-OS 41 26 579 a device is shown with the fully automatic exposed photographic film images can be produced.
- the films are developed, automatically to a copier handed over, the individual images copied onto paper and the paper developed.
- the device is for processing conventional 35 mm film in 135 format or pocket films in A110 format.
- EP-OS 571 805 now shows a film cartridge, one on a spool contains wound film, the guide portion of which is not out of the cartridge protrudes.
- a laboratory organization for films and cartridges of this type the filmstrip is rewound into the cartridge after copying and is given to the customer together with the pictures is in the EP-OS 664 483 described.
- This new film system was called "Advanced Photo System "(APS) launched.
- an APS film can be similar to a 35mm film 135 can be handled.
- the film only needs to be copied be rewound into the cartridge.
- a reorder the Cartridge inserted directly into the cartridge holder and, as in the DE-OS 40 38 661 described, copied. That means that both First order as well as for a reorder with one and the same copier full automation can be achieved.
- the input station for taking the film strips from the developing device is therefore advantageously designed so that both Film strips of format 135 and APS film strips are adopted can.
- minilabs The operation of minilabs is often unskilled or at least only briefed workers carried out so that the equipment is designed must be made that input errors are avoided from the outset.
- multiple input stations that correspond to the different Input media are adapted can be prevented, for example a film in the opening for a cartridge or is also inserted vice versa.
- APS cartridge adapted form of the cartridge holder or by other blocking means Prevent, for example, a 35 mm cartridge in this input station is inserted.
- the cartridge holder is advantageously designed so that the cartridge can only be entered in one orientation. This will incorrect entries avoided from the start. This is particularly the case when retrofitting existing devices are not possible, funds are provided which detect the orientation of the cartridge in the cartridge holder and at a possible wrong entry, a corresponding warning or an alarm signal produce.
- an additional input station for these reorder orders be provided.
- the emulsion layer of the film strip has the correct orientation, otherwise the paper prints created will be reversed are.
- the determination of the orientation of the entered film strips can be done, for example, using the DX code, as it is in DE-OS 41 14 343 is described.
- the transfer station enables the majority of the device to be shared can be used for all systems and formats. New systems can be established on the market faster because of the development laboratories or the Minilab operators not completely new devices, but only accessories for existing devices need to be purchased.
- the input stations can be operated on a motorized, vertically adjustable Sled to be arranged. Is the minilab equipped so that the actual Copying station can be automatically adapted to different formats can, the overall control of the device can be done by entering the cartridges or film strips. If, for example, a cartridge is inserted in the designated one Input station entered, the carriage is moved so that the Guiding and transport device of this input station the film directly to the Guide and transport device can pass through the copying station. At the same time, the copying station can be adapted to the format of the film in the cartridge become. This can be done either through a process of elements or but happen by automatically changing the entire stage.
- a simpler but equally effective option is to use the individual input stations to be fixed in place.
- the guidance and transport facilities the input stations are then arranged so that they are in the guide and Open the transport device through the copying station. Usually this can so that no motorized adjustment in the transfer station necessary is.
- All parts of the device according to FIG. 1 are on a common base plate 1 mounted.
- the base plate has a groove 2 in which the edge guides 3 and 4 are adjustable for the film strips. Fixed with these edge guides the side guides 5, 6 for the film in the cartridge 7 are connected.
- the drive block 8, with which film can be wound out of the APS cartridge 7, is via the connecting part 9 and the actuating rod 10 with the guides 3 and 5 connected.
- the actuating rod 10 is fixed in the housing Bearing parts 11 and 12 guided axially movable. While the operating rod 10 is firmly connected to the connecting part 9 and the edge guide 3, that is Connecting part 13 axially displaceable on it.
- the operating rod 14 on the other hand, which is also in the bearing parts 11 and 12 axially is slidably guided, is fixed to the guides via the connecting part 13 4 and 6 connected, while the connecting part 9 is axially displaceable you are stored.
- the operating rods 10 and 14 are by the motor 15 and a spindle drive, not shown, can be moved in opposite directions.
- the guides for the film can be adjusted symmetrically in this way.
- the cartridge 7 is in the cartridge holder 16, which is exactly the outer shape the cartridge is adapted.
- the drive block 8 has a shaft 17 for driving the film spool in the cartridge and a shaft 18 for opening the cartridge shutter on. A drive for these shafts is not shown in the drawing.
- This support member contains a support pin 20 which during the Film input supports the film spool and a button 21, which detects whether it is for the film in the cartridge, one that has already been developed or one that is still undeveloped film.
- a flap 22 via the axis 23 pivotally attached.
- a guide piece 24 is attached below the flap, which is pivotable about an axis parallel to the axis 23.
- the guide piece 24 is pressed resiliently against the flap 22 so that the runners 25 rest against the flap 22.
- the flap 22 can by a mechanism, not shown here can be pivoted via the actuating lever 26.
- the drive roller pair 27 is shared by all entered films.
- the principle of this device is shown again schematically in FIG. 2.
- the various positions of the device set by the motor 15 can be, for example, the insertion of different, the respective Format adapted copying plates in the copier, not shown here be bound. In the position shown, a copy plate would therefore be used, adapted to the format of the film in the APS cartridge 7 is.
- the insertion of the cartridge is recognized by light barriers, not shown here, whereupon the motor 15 is started and the drive block 8 and the support member 19 are moved so far that the shaft 17 with the coil of Cartridge is coupled. Simultaneously with the support part 19 and the drive block 8 the guides 5 and 6 are moved to the required distance. Based The position reached can be checked again whether the cartridge 7 is correct was inserted into the cartridge holder 16.
- the Button 21 ensures that the film in the cartridge is actually already developed and is therefore no longer sensitive to light. Then the shaft 18 the shutter of the cartridge opened and the shaft 17 driven so that the Start the film from the cartridge 7 through the guides 5 and 6 to the Drive rollers 27 is pushed. From here, the film can now be viewed through the Copier conveyed and rewound into the cartridge after the copying process become. Then the closure by the shaft 18 again closed and the motor 15 moves the drive block 8, the support member 19 and the guides 5 and 6 again in the position shown in Fig. 1.
- the appropriate copy plate inserted into the copier. Then the Motor 15 the edge guides 3, 4 until they correspond to the film format Distance. To further increase the security of input and rule out that the 35mm film may be on the guides 5 and 6 is entered, a cover 16a could be placed over the cartridge receptacle at the same time 16 can be closed. If the film is now properly on the Edge guides 3, 4 entered, so is a DX code reader in the Edge guides 3 and 4 scanned the respective edge area of the film strip and determined which side the DX code is on. Based on the location The DX code and reading direction can change the orientation of the filmstrip be determined. If an incorrect entry is found, the operator becomes asked to correct the location of the film. To define the film with To be able to pass the speed of the DX code readers is the Film start is detected by the drive rollers 30 (Fig. 2). These drive rollers if the input is correct, then also feed the film to the drive rollers 27.
- cartridges and / or 135 film strips can be used respective input stations are fed from a magazine, so that the operation is simplified even further. For reasons of clarity this feature is not shown separately in the figures.
- a film start arriving from a film processor is from brought down by the drive rollers 31 (Fig. 2).
- the Flap 22 and the guide piece 24 resting thereon via the actuating lever 26 raised to a position in which a through the bottom of the flap 22
- the beginning of the film can be fed to the drive rollers 27.
- the beginning of the film slides between the runners 25 of the guide piece 24 and the underside of the Flap 22. This forms between the guide piece 24 and the flap 22 Gap that is wide enough that there is no risk of scratching the film.
- the runners 25 are arranged so that they only the film in its edge area touch. The beginning of the film is in turn captured by the rollers 27 and into the Copier transported.
- FIG. 3 The mode of operation of a further exemplary embodiment is shown in FIG. 3.
- a cartridge holder 35 and a film strip guide 36 in a carriage 37.
- drive rollers 38 and Drives for the film spool and the cartridge closure are provided.
- the sled can be moved in the direction of the double arrow A.
- the carriage 37 is located in 3, a position in the cartridge receptacle 35 can be used Film unwound from a cartridge and the drive rollers over the film guide 39 27 are supplied.
- a film strip should be taken over by the film developing device 42 are, the carriage is moved so that the film guide 36 with the film guide 40 of the copier is aligned.
- the width of the film guide 36 can be changed, for example, so that both film strips with the format 135 as well as film strips of a different format can be entered can.
- the film stage 41 corresponding to the format in the here Copier, not shown, is used, the film from the rollers 38th taken over and forwarded to the roles 27.
- a 35 mm film can already be entered into the guide 36.
- the beginning of the film is fixed by the rollers 38 until the film just processed again rewound through the guide 39 into the cartridge in the cartridge receptacle 35 is.
