Definitions
- the invention relates to a coin device according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- One of the more common ways to manipulate coin machines is to a real coin rolling on a relatively thin thread through the coin validator to lead. Since a real coin is used and the timing of the corresponds to real coins, the coin is made by those who carry out the authenticity check Sensors for real detection and automatically fed to the acceptance area. This is controlled by a so-called acceptance gate, which causes real coins directed to an acceptance channel and spurious coins directed to a return channel become.
- a presence sensor is usually located behind the acceptance gate in the direction of travel provided that generates a credit signal so that the desired goods or service is granted. However, since the coin is hanging on a thread, it does not get into the cash register.
- the invention has for its object to provide a coin device who can almost certainly determine the presence of a thread, even if it is relatively thin and loose.
- Thread optically there is an immediate sensation of a Thread optically.
- a thread is in relation to the width of a coin channel negligible in terms of its shading effect in an optical measuring section. It is also not possible to narrow the light barrier Restrict the area of the coin channel, since the thread can also be loose and therefore its position is unknown. For this reason, the invention sees one optical channel in front, by interacting across the width of the flap extending recesses from a flap and the associated wall is formed, against which the flap rests in one position, namely in its locked position. In the open position, it enables the unhindered passage of the Coin.
- the flap described as a separate part in the coin device can, for example, be arranged in the insertion slot of the coin validator become. It is then operated directly by the coin, for example.
- the advantage is that a coin is recognized early on by the thread and without in to reach the acceptance area, falls directly into the return. After an arrangement the invention is the flap of the acceptance gate necessary per se educated.
- Embodiment of the invention that an approach is attached to the flap, the engages in an opening or a recess in the channel wall when the Flap abuts the channel wall or a slight distance from it has and the approach is provided with an opening with the optical Channel is aligned.
- the approach also covers the receiver of the optical link with the flap slightly open, so that the amount of light received is reduced.
- FIG. 1 shows a coin channel 100 of a coin device (not shown in more detail), which is delimited by side walls 102 and 104 and by a further wall 106 and a wall that runs parallel to wall 106 and cannot be seen in FIG. 1.
- a flap 108 is at the bottom at 110 on wall 100 and the opposite Wall rotatable. It extends in that shown in Fig. 1 Position to the wall 102 and is with a lateral extension 112 in a recess or a slot 114 into wall 102.
- the rest of the flap 108 ends in the center of a circular hole 116 in the neck 112. It has a cross section provided semicircular recess, which extends across the width of the Flap 108 extends.
- the recess which is circular in cross section, interacts with a semicircular recess in the wall 102, see that an optical channel 120 with a circular cross section is formed (see also Fig. 2). It is understood that the cross section of the optical channel is also different can be designed, for example, can have a rectangular shape.
- the optical one Channel 120 forms a passage for the light from one light source 122.
- the other A photoelectric receiver 124 is arranged at the end. Now a coin is on suspended from a thread 126, and has the coin, indicated at 128 in FIG is, the flap 108 is passed through by a control, not to be explained further the flap 108 is returned to the position shown in FIG. 1.
- the flap 108 can act as a so-called acceptance gate, to the right in the case of a good signal pivoted to open the passage for a coin.
- 1 is the Switch 108 in the blocking position and directs incoming coins into a return channel. Turnout 108 gets back in after passing a real coin the position shown in Fig. 1, a thread 126, the more or less loose in Channel 108 hangs down, pressed against wall 102. This will get the Thread into the optical channel, through its center extending. The thread 126 therefore leads to a corresponding shading of the Light path that can be easily detected to emit a thread signal.
- the approach 112 or the flag ensures that nevertheless not too a lot of light hits the receiver 124. In this case, too, the presence can be of a thread are signaled.
- appropriate drainage means can be attached in the flap and at the stop be, for example a fleece, which removes the liquid from the optical Channel is kept away.
