If bundles of banknotes bent in this way are placed in the bill holder so that their edges point away from the take-off roller 34, there may be drawback problems because the lower edge of the bill 42 does not detach from the bill support 40. There is a similar tendency towards this curvature of the banknotes due to the gradual advancement of the stack of banknotes located in the banknotes in the direction of the take-off roller 34. The lower edges of the banknotes are subject to friction on the banknotes 40.
