Claims (7)
- Brennkraftmaschine mit einem Zylinderkopf, einem Kurbelgehäuse (1) und einer Ölwanne und mit einem an einer quer zu Seitenwänden (10, 11) verlaufenden Stirnseite (9) des Kurbelgehäuses (1) angeordneten Ketten- oder Riementrieb für den Antrieb einer Nockenwelle, wobei das Kurbelgehäuse (1) an der genannten Stirnseite (9) Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) aufweist, die als Verlängerung der Seitenwände (10, 11) über die Stirnseite (9) hervorstehen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß durch die Verlängerung der Seitenwände (10, 11) der Ketten- bzw. Riementrieb seitlich eingefaßt wird. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) einen Steuerkasten (14) mit einer zylinderkopfseitigen Aussparung (15) und einer ölwannenseitigen Aussparung (17) bilden. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen den oberen Enden (12', 13') der Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) ein die zylinderkopfseitige Aussparung (15) begrenzender Verbindungssteg (16) angeordnet ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 2 oder 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die oberen Enden (12', 13') der Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) und gegebenenfalls der Verbindungssteg (16) zu einer Zylinderkopfflanschfläche (5) des Kurbelgehäuses (1) fluchtend verlaufen. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen den unteren Enden (12'', 13'') der Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) ein die ölwannenseitige Aussparung (17) begrenzender Verbindungssteg (18) vorgesehen ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die unteren Enden (12", 13'') der Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) und gegebenenfalls der Verbindungssteg (18) zwischen diesen mit einem Ölwannenflansch (7) des Kurbelgehäuses (1) fluchtend verlaufen. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vorderen Enden (19, 20) der Seitenwandabschnitte (12, 13) und gebenenfalls die Verbindungsstege (16, 18) eine ebene Fläche (20) bilden.
